ܐܘܝ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܝܕܝܥܬܐ ܘܦܪܝܩܬܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܗ ܕܝܘܢܢ
dywnn mdynthh wpryqth' ydyeth' mdynth' 'wy
Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, the oppressing city!

ܕܠܐ ܫܡܥܬ ܒܩܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܩܒܠܬ ܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܘܒܡܪܝܐ ܠܐ ܣܒܪܬ ܘܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܗ̇ ܠܐ ܩܪܒܬ
qrbth l' 'lhh wlwth sbrth l' wbmry' mrdwth' qblth wl' bql' shmeth dl'
She didn’t obey the voice. She didn’t receive correction. She didn’t trust in Yahweh. She didn’t draw near to her God.

ܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܝܗ̇ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܐܝܟ ܐܪ̈ܝܘܬܐ ܢܗܡܝܢ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝܗ̇ ܐܝܟ ܕܐ̈ܒܐ ܕܪܡܫܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܟܬܪܝܢ ܠܨܦܪܐ
ltspr' mkthryn wl' drmsh' d'b' 'yk wdynyh nhmyn 'rywth' 'yk bgwh rwrbnyh
Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.

ܢܒܝ̈ܝܗ̇ ܦܚܙܝܢ ܘܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܥ̇ܘ̈ܠܐ ܟܗ̈ܢܝܗ̇ ܛܘܫܘ ܡܩܕܫܐ ܘܚܛܦܘ ܢܡܘܣܐ
nmws' wkhTpw mqdsh' Twshw khnyh ewl' 'nwn wgbr' pkhzyn nbyyh
Her prophets are arrogant and treacherous people. Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.

ܘܡܪܝܐ ܙܕܝܩܐ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܘܠܐ ܥܒܕ ܥܘܠܐ ܒܨܦܪܐ ܘܒܨܦܪܐ ܕܝ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܝܗܒ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܫܘܚܪ ܘܥ̇ܘܠܐ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܒܗܬܬܐ
bhthth' yde l' wewl' mshwkhr wl' bnwhr' yhb dynwhy wbtspr' btspr' ewl' ebd wl' bgwh zdyq' wmry'
Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.

ܐܘܒܕܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܬܚܒܠܬ ܕܘܝܬܐ ܐܚܪܒܬ ܫ̈ܘܩܝܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܠܝ ܕܥܒܪ ܨ̈ܕܝ ܡ̈ܕܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܠܝ ܐܢܫ ܘܡܢ ܒܠܝ ܕܝܬܒ
dythb bly wmn 'nsh bly mn mdynthhwn tsdy debr bly mn shwqyhwn 'khrbth dwyth' w'thkhblth emm' 'wbdth
I have cut off nations. Their battlements are desolate. I have made their streets waste, so that no one passes by. Their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.

ܐܡܪܬ ܕܠܝ ܬܕܚܠܘܢ ܘܡܢܝ ܬܩܒܠܘܢ ܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܐܒܕ ܡܢ ܥܝܢ̈ܝܗ̇ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܦܩܕܬ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܐܬܛܝܒܘ ܘܩܪܘܒܘ ܘܚܒܠܘ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܨܢ̈ܥܬܗܘܢ
tsnethhwn klhyn wkhblw wqrwbw 'thTybw elyh dpqdth klmdm eynyh mn n'bd wl' mrdwth' thqblwn wmny thdkhlwn dly 'mrth
I said, “Just fear me. Receive correction,” so that her dwelling won’t be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they rose early and corrupted all their doings.

ܡܟܝܠ ܣܟܘ ܠܝ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܝܘܡܐ ܕܩܐܡ ܐܢܐ ܠܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܛܝ ܕܝܢܝ ܠܡܟܢܫܘ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܠܡܩܪܒܘ ܡ̈ܠܟܘܬܐ ܠܡܐܫܕ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܘܟܠܗ̇ ܚܡܬܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܢܘܪܐ ܕܛܢܢܝ ܬܬܐܟܠ ܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ

“Therefore wait for me”, says Yahweh, “until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܐܗܦܟ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܣܦܬܐ ܓܒܝܬܐ ܕܢܩܪܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܢܦܠܚܘܢܗ ܒܢܝܪܐ ܚܕ
khd bnyr' wnplkhwnh dmry' bshmh klhwn dnqrwn gbyth' spth' emm' el 'hpk whydyn
For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on Yahweh’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.

ܡܢ ܥܒܪ ܢܗܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܟܘܫ ܢܝܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܕܒܚ̈ܐ
dbkh' ly nythwn dkwsh nhrwth' ebr mn
From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed people, will bring my offering.

ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܠܐ ܬܒܗܬܝܢ ܡܢ ܟܘܠܗܝܢ ܨܢ̈ܥܬܟܝ ܕܐܥܠܝܬܝ ܒܝ ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܐܥܒܪ ܡܢܟܝ ܥܘܫܢܐ ܕܓܐܝܘܬܟܝ ܘܠܐ ܬܘܣܦܝܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܡܬܪܘܪܒܘ ܥܠ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ
dqwdshy Twr' el lmthrwrbw thwb thwspyn wl' dg'ywthky ewshn' mnky 'ebr whydyn by d'elythy tsnethky kwlhyn mn thbhthyn l' hw bywm'
In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.

ܘܐܘܬܪ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܥܡܐ ܡܣܟܢܐ ܘܡܟܝܟܐ ܘܢܣܒܪܘܢ ܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' bshmh wnsbrwn wmkyk' mskn' em' bgwky w'wthr
But I will leave among you an afflicted and poor people, and they will take refuge in Yahweh’s name.

ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܫܬܚܪܘ ܡܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܐ ܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܥܘܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܡܠܠܘܢ ܕܓܠܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܫܬܟܚ ܒܦܘܡܗܘܢ ܠܫܢܐ ܕܢܟܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܢܪܥܘܢ ܘܢܪܒܥܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܗܪܢܐ
mhrn' lhwn nhw' wl' wnrbewn nrewn dhnwn mTl dnkl' lshn' bpwmhwn nshthkkh wl' dglwth' nmllwn wl' ewl' nebdwn l' 'ysryl dbyth mn d'shthkhrw w'ylyn
The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”

ܫܒܚܝ ܒܪܬ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܝܒܒ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܚܕܝ ܘܕܘܨܝ ܒܟܠܗ ܠܒܟܝ ܒܪܬ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ
'wrshlm brth lbky bklh wdwtsy khdy 'ysryl wybb tshywn brth shbkhy
Sing, daughter of Zion! Shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem.

ܐܥܒܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܝܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܐܦܪܩ ܡܢܟܝ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟܝ ܡܠܟܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܚܙܝܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ
byshth' thkhzyn l' thwb bgwky mry' d'ysryl mlkh beldbbyky mnky w'prq dynyky mry' 'ebr
Yahweh has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Israel, Yahweh, is among you. You will not be afraid of evil any more.

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܢܬܐܡܪ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܝܢ ܘܠܨܗܝܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܬܪ̈ܦܝܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܟܝ
'ydyky nthrpyn l' wltshywn thdkhlyn l' l'wrshlm nth'mr hw bywm' bh
In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion. Don’t let your hands be weak.”

ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܝ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܓܢܒܪܐ ܘܦܪܘܩܐ ܢܒܣܡܟܝ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܘܢܚܕܬܟܝ ܒܚܘܒܗ ܘܢܕܝܨܟܝ ܒܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ
bthshbwkhth' wndytsky bkhwbh wnkhdthky bkhdwth' nbsmky wprwq' gnbr' bgwky 'lhky mry'
Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

ܐܝܟ ܕܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܥܕܥܐܕܐ ܘܐܥܒܪ ܡܢܟܝ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܡܠܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܚܣܕܐ

I will remove those who grieve about the appointed feasts from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you.

ܗܐ ܥܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܡܡܟܟܝܢ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܐܦܪܘܩ ܠܟܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܠܪܚܝܩܬܐ ܐܟܢܫ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܫܡܐ ܘܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܒܗܬܬܗܘܢ
dbhththhwn 're' bklh wlthshbwkhth' lshm' 'nwn w'ebd 'knsh wlrkhyqth' lkbyshth' w'prwq hw bzbn' bgwky mmkkyn kd lklhwn 'n' ebd h'
Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you; and I will save those who are lame and gather those who were driven away. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth.

ܒܗ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܝܬܝܟܘܢ ܘܒܗ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܟܢܫܟܘܢ ܘܐܬܠܟܘܢ ܠܫܡܐ ܘܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܡܐ ܕܡܗܦܟ ܐܢܐ ܫܒܝܬܟܘܢ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'mr lenyhwn shbythkwn 'n' dmhpk m' d're' emm' bklhwn wlthshbwkhth' lshm' w'thlkwn 'knshkwn hw bzbn' wbh 'ythykwn hw bzbn' bh
At that time I will bring you in, and at that time I will gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says Yahweh.
