1
וי דמוחיא ומתפרקא קרתא דמסגיא לארגזא:
largza dmsgya qrtha wmthprqa dmwkhya wy
Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, the oppressing city!
2
לא שמעת בקל עבדוהי נבייא ולא קבילת אולפן במימרא דיי לא אתרחיצת ולפולחן דאלהא לא אתקרבת:
athqrbth la dalha wlpwlkhn athrkhytsth la dyy bmymra awlpn qbylth wla nbyya ebdwhy bql shmeth la
She didn’t obey the voice. She didn’t receive correction. She didn’t trust in Yahweh. She didn’t draw near to her God.

רברבהא בגוה כאריון נהמין דינהא דיבי רמשא לא מוריכין לצפרא:
ltspra mwrykyn la rmsha dyby dynha nhmyn karywn bgwh rbrbha
Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.

נביי שקרא די בגוה באשין גברין שקרין כהנתא מפסין קודשא חטפין באוריתא:
bawrytha khTpyn qwdsha mpsyn khntha shqryn gbryn bashyn bgwh dy shqra nbyy
Her prophets are arrogant and treacherous people. Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.

יי זכאה אמר לאשראה שכנתיה בגוה לית קדמוהי למעבד שקר הא כנהור צפרא דאזיל ותקין כן דיניה נפיק לאפרש לא מתעכב ולא ידעין עיליא בהתא:
bhtha eylya ydeyn wla mthekb la laprsh npyq dynyh kn wthqyn dazyl tspra knhwr ha shqr lmebd qdmwhy lyth bgwh shknthyh lashrah amr zkah yy
Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.

שיציתי עממיא אצדיאה ברניתהון אחריבית שוקיהון מבלי עדי צדיאה קרויהון מבלי אנש מבלי יתיב:
ythyb mbly ansh mbly qrwyhwn tsdyah edy mbly shwqyhwn akhrybyth brnythhwn atsdyah emmya shytsythy
I have cut off nations. Their battlements are desolate. I have made their streets waste, so that no one passes by. Their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.

אמרית ברם תדחלון מן קדמי תקבלון אולפן ולא יפסוק מדוריהון מארעא בית שכנתי כל טבון דאמרית להון איתי להון בכן אקדימו חבילו כל עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn kl khbylw aqdymw bkn lhwn aythy lhwn damryth Tbwn kl shknthy byth marea mdwryhwn ypswq wla awlpn thqblwn qdmy mn thdkhlwn brm amryth
I said, “Just fear me. Receive correction,” so that her dwelling won’t be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they rose early and corrupted all their doings.

בכן סברו למימרי אמר יי ליום אתגליותי למדן ארי דיני לכנשא עממיא לקרבא מלכותא למשפך עליהון חימתי כל תקוף רוגזי ארי באשת פורענותי יסופון כל רשעי ארעא:
area rshey kl yswpwn pwrenwthy bashth ary rwgzy thqwp kl khymthy elyhwn lmshpk mlkwtha lqrba emmya lknsha dyny ary lmdn athglywthy lywm yy amr lmymry sbrw bkn
“Therefore wait for me”, says Yahweh, “until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

ארי בכן אשני על עממיא ממלל חד בהיר לצלאה כולהון בשמא דיי למפלח קדמוהי כתף חד:
khd kthp qdmwhy lmplkh dyy bshma kwlhwn ltslah bhyr khd mmll emmya el ashny bkn ary
For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on Yahweh’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.

מעבר לנהרי הודו ברחמין יתובון גלות עמי דאתגליאה ויהון מיתן לכון הא בקורבנין:
bqwrbnyn ha lkwn mythn wyhwn dathglyah emy glwth ythwbwn brkhmyn hwdw lnhry mebr
From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed people, will bring my offering.

בעדנא ההיא לא תבהתון מכל עובדיך בישיא די מרדת במימרי ארי בכן אגלי מגויך תקיפי תושבחתך ולא תוסיפון לאתרברבא עוד בטורא דקודשי:
dqwdshy bTwra ewd lathrbrba thwsypwn wla thwshbkhthk thqypy mgwyk agly bkn ary bmymry mrdth dy byshya ewbdyk mkl thbhthwn la hhya bedna
In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.

ואשאר בגויך עם ענותן ומקבל עולבן ויתרחצון בשמא דיי:
dyy bshma wythrkhtswn ewlbn wmqbl enwthn em bgwyk washar
But I will leave among you an afflicted and poor people, and they will take refuge in Yahweh’s name.

שארא דישראל לא יעבדון שקר ולא ימללון כדבין ולא ישתכח בפומיהון לישן דנכלין ארי אינון יתפרנסון וישרון ולית דמניד:
dmnyd wlyth wyshrwn ythprnswn aynwn ary dnklyn lyshn bpwmyhwn yshthkkh wla kdbyn ymllwn wla shqr yebdwn la dyshral shara
The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”

שבחי כנשתא דציון ובועו ישראל חדו ובועו בכל לבא כנשתא דירושלם:
dyrwshlm knshtha lba bkl wbwew khdw yshral wbwew dtsywn knshtha shbkhy
Sing, daughter of Zion! Shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem.

אגלי יי דיני שקרא מגויך פלי בעלי דבביך מלכיה דישראל יי אמר לאשראה שכנתיה בגויך לא תדחלין מן קדם בישא עוד:
ewd bysha qdm mn thdkhlyn la bgwyk shknthyh lashrah amr yy dyshral mlkyh dbbyk bely ply mgwyk shqra dyny yy agly
Yahweh has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Israel, Yahweh, is among you. You will not be afraid of evil any more.

בעדנא ההיא יתאמר לירושלם לא תדחלון ציון לא יתרשלן ידך:
ydk ythrshln la tsywn thdkhlwn la lyrwshlm ythamr hhya bedna
In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion. Don’t let your hands be weak.”

יי אלהך אמר לאשראה שכנתיה בגויך גבר פריק יחדי עלך בחדוא יכבוש על חובך ברחמתיה ידוץ עלך בדיץ:
bdyts elk ydwts brkhmthyh khwbk el ykbwsh bkhdwa elk ykhdy pryq gbr bgwyk shknthyh lashrah amr alhk yy
Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.
18
די הוו מעכבין ביך זמני מועדיך ארחיקית מניך וי עליהון על דהוו נטלין זיניהון לקבליך ומחסדין ליך:
lyk wmkhsdyn lqblyk zynyhwn nTlyn dhww el elyhwn wy mnyk arkhyqyth mwedyk zmny byk mekbyn hww dy
I will remove those who grieve about the appointed feasts from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you.

הא אנא עביד גמירא עם כל משעבדיך בעדנא ההיא ואפרוק ית מטלטליא ומבדריא אקריב ואשוינון לתושבחא ולשום בכל ארעא בהתתהון:
bhththhwn area bkl wlshwm lthwshbkha washwynwn aqryb wmbdrya mTlTlya yth waprwq hhya bedna mshebdyk kl em gmyra ebyd ana ha
Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you; and I will save those who are lame and gather those who were driven away. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth.

בעדנא ההיא אכניש יתכון ובעדנא ההיא אקריב גלותכון ארי אתן יתכון לשום ולתושבחא בכל עממי ארעא כד אתיב ית גלותכון לעיניכון אמר יי:
yy amr leynykwn glwthkwn yth athyb kd area emmy bkl wlthwshbkha lshwm ythkwn athn ary glwthkwn aqryb hhya wbedna ythkwn aknysh hhya bedna
At that time I will bring you in, and at that time I will gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says Yahweh.
