מטל פתגמא דיי בארעא דרומא ודמשק תתוב למהוי מארע בית שכינתיה ארי קדם יי גלן עובדי בני אנשא אתרעי בכל שבטיא דישראל:
dyshral shbTya bkl athrey ansha bny ewbdy gln yy qdm ary shkynthyh byth mare lmhwy ththwb wdmshq drwma barea dyy pthgma mTl
A revelation. Yahweh’s word is against the land of Hadrach, and will rest upon Damascus— for the eye of man and of all the tribes of Israel is toward Yahweh—

ואף חמת תתוב למהוי מארע בית שכינתיה צור וצידון ארי תקיפת לחדא:
lkhda thqypth ary wtsydwn tswr shkynthyh byth mare lmhwy ththwb khmth wap
and Hamath, also, which borders on it, Tyre and Sidon, because they are very wise.

ובנת צור תוקפא לה וכנשת כספא כעפרא דהבא כטין שוקין:
shwqyn kTyn dhba kepra kspa wknshth lh thwqpa tswr wbnth
Tyre built herself a stronghold, and heaped up silver like the dust, and fine gold like the mire of the streets.

הא יי מתריך לה וירמי בימא עתרה והיא בנורא תתוקד:
ththwqd bnwra whya ethrh byma wyrmy lh mthryk yy ha
Behold, the Lord will dispossess her, and he will strike her power in the sea; and she will be devoured with fire.

תחזי אשקלון ותדחל ועזה ותזיע לחדא ועקרון ארי בהיתת מבית רוחצניה וייבד מלכא מעזה ואשקלון לא תתיתיב:
ththythyb la washqlwn mezh mlka wyybd rwkhtsnyh mbyth bhythth ary weqrwn lkhda wthzye wezh wthdkhl ashqlwn thkhzy
Ashkelon will see it, and fear; Gaza also, and will writhe in agony; as will Ekron, for her expectation will be disappointed; and the king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited.

ויתובון בית ישראל באשדוד דהוו בה כנוכראין ואבטיל רבות פלשתאי:
plshthay rbwth wabTyl knwkrayn bh dhww bashdwd yshral byth wythwbwn
Foreigners will dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

ואשצי אכלי דמה ושקצא מביניהון ויסוף חיליהון וגיורין די ישתארון בהון יתוספון אף אינון על עמא דאלהנא ויהון כרברבין דבית יהודה ועקרון תתמלי בית ישראל כירושלם:
kyrwshlm yshral byth ththmly weqrwn yhwdh dbyth krbrbyn wyhwn dalhna ema el aynwn ap ythwspwn bhwn yshtharwn dy wgywryn khylyhwn wyswp mbynyhwn wshqtsa dmh akly washtsy
I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; and he also will be a remnant for our God; and he will be as a chieftain in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.

ואשרי בבית מקדשי שכינת יקרי ותקוף דרע גבורתי כשור דאשא מוקף לה סחור סחור מדעדי ומדתאיב ולא יעבר עליהון עוד שולטן ארי כען גלית גבורתי לאוטבא להון:
lhwn lawTba gbwrthy glyth ken ary shwlTn ewd elyhwn yebr wla wmdthayb mdedy skhwr skhwr lh mwqp dasha kshwr gbwrthy dre wthqwp yqry shkynth mqdshy bbyth washry
I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes.

בועי לחדא כנשתא דציון ובועי כנשתא דירושלם הא מלכך אתי לגויך זכאי ופריק הוא ענותן ורכיב על חמרא ועל עיר בר אתן:
athn br eyr wel khmra el wrkyb enwthn hwa wpryq zkay lgwyk athy mlkk ha dyrwshlm knshtha wbwey dtsywn knshtha lkhda bwey
Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

ואשיצי רתיכין מאפרים וסוסון מירושלם ואתבר תקוף עבדי קרב משירית עממיא וידין שלמא למלכותא וישלוט מימא עד מערבא ומפרת עד סיפי ארעא:
area sypy ed wmprth merba ed myma wyshlwT lmlkwtha shlma wydyn emmya mshyryth qrb ebdy thqwp wathbr myrwshlm wswswn maprym rthykyn washytsy
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. The battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

אף אתון די על דמא אתגזר לכון קים פרקית יתכון משעבוד מצראי ספקית צרכיכון במדבר צדי הא כגוב ריקן דלית מין ביה:
byh myn dlyth ryqn kgwb ha tsdy bmdbr tsrkykwn spqyth mtsray mshebwd ythkwn prqyth qym lkwn athgzr dma el dy athwn ap
As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I have set free your prisoners from the pit in which is no water.

תובו למהוי כרכין תקיפין אסיריא דמסברין לפורקנא אף יומא דין אשלח לחואה לכון די אמרית לכון איתי לכון:
lkwn aythy lkwn amryth dy lkwn lkhwah ashlkh dyn ywma ap lpwrqna dmsbryn asyrya thqypyn krkyn lmhwy thwbw
Turn to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope! Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.

ארי תקפית קדמי דבית יהודה כקשת מתיחא בבית אזינין מלית גבורא בית ישראל ואגבר בנך ציון על בני עממיא ואשוינך כחרבא ביד גברא:
gbra byd kkhrba washwynk emmya bny el tsywn bnk wagbr yshral byth gbwra mlyth azynyn bbyth mthykha kqshth yhwdh dbyth qdmy thqpyth ary
For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have loaded the bow with Ephraim. I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man.

ויי עליהון יתגלי ויהון נפקין כברקין פתגמוהי ומן קדם יי אלהים בשופרא יתקע וידבר בעלעול רוח מדרומא:
mdrwma rwkh belewl wydbr ythqe bshwpra alhym yy qdm wmn pthgmwhy kbrqyn npqyn wyhwn ythgly elyhwn wyy
Yahweh will be seen over them. His arrow will flash like lightning. The Lord Yahweh will blow the trumpet, and will go with whirlwinds of the south.

יי צבאות ירחם עליהון וישלטון בעממיא ויקטלונונון ושארהון יגמרון כמא דשדן אבנא בקלעא ויבזון ית נכסיהון ויסבעון מנהון כשתי חמר ותהי נפשהון מליא תפנוקין כמזרק דמלי סולתא ומשח ויהון מזהרין כדמא דמזהר על כתלא דמדבחא:
dmdbkha kthla el dmzhr kdma mzhryn wyhwn wmshkh swltha dmly kmzrq thpnwqyn mlya npshhwn wthhy khmr kshthy mnhwn wysbewn nksyhwn yth wybzwn bqlea abna dshdn kma ygmrwn wsharhwn wyqTlwnwnwn bemmya wyshlTwn elyhwn yrkhm tsbawth yy
Yahweh of Armies will defend them. They will destroy and overcome with sling stones. They will drink, and roar as through wine. They will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

ויפרקונון יי אלההון בעדנא ההיא על דאתבדרו כענא עמיה ארי יבחרינון כאבני איפודא ויקרבינון לארעהון:
larehwn wyqrbynwn aypwda kabny ybkhrynwn ary emyh kena dathbdrw el hhya bedna alhhwn yy wyprqwnwn
Yahweh their God will save them in that day as the flock of his people; for they are like the jewels of a crown, lifted on high over his land.
