והוה פתגם נבואה מן קדם יי צבאות עמי למימר:
lmymr emy tsbawth yy qdm mn nbwah pthgm whwh
The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.

כדנן אמר יי צבאות מתפרע אנא פורענות ציון קנאה רבא ורגז רב מן קדמי על עממיא דאקניאוה:
daqnyawh emmya el qdmy mn rb wrgz rba qnah tsywn pwrenwth ana mthpre tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.”

כדנן אמר יי אתוב לציון ואשרי שכנתי בגו ירושלם ותתקרי ירושלם קרתא דקושטא וטור בית מקדשא דיי צבאות טורא קדישא:
qdysha Twra tsbawth dyy mqdsha byth wTwr dqwshTa qrtha yrwshlm wththqry yrwshlm bgw shknthy washry ltsywn athwb yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the middle of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called ‘The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of Yahweh of Armies, ‘The Holy Mountain.’”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות עוד יתבון סבין וסבן בשוקי ירושלם וגבר עובדוהי תקניא יגנון עלוהי מסגי יומיא:
ywmya msgy elwhy ygnwn thqnya ewbdwhy wgbr yrwshlm bshwqy wsbn sbyn ythbwn ewd tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand because of their old age.

ורחובי קרתא ירושלם יתמלון עולמין ועולימן משבחין בפתהא:
bpthha mshbkhyn wewlymn ewlmyn ythmlwn yrwshlm qrtha wrkhwby
The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות כד תיקר דחלתי בעיני שארא דעמא הדין ביומיא האינון אף קדמי ייקרון אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr yyqrwn qdmy ap haynwn bywmya hdyn dema shara beyny dkhlthy thyqr kd tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.

כדנן אמר יי צבאות הא אנא פריק ית עמי מארעא מדינחא ומארעא מעלני שמשא:
shmsha melny wmarea mdynkha marea emy yth pryq ana ha tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “Behold, I will save my people from the east country and from the west country.

ואעיל יתהון וישרון בגו ירושלם ויהון קדמי לעם ואנא אהוי להון לאלהא בקשוט ובזכו:
wbzkw bqshwT lalha lhwn ahwy wana lem qdmy wyhwn yrwshlm bgw wyshrwn ythhwn waeyl
I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות יתקפן ידיכון דשמעין ביומיא האינון ית פתגמיא האלין מפום נבייא די ביומא דשרי לאשתכללא בית מקדשא דיי צבאות היכלא לאתבנאה:
lathbnah hykla tsbawth dyy mqdsha byth lashthklla dshry bywma dy nbyya mpwm halyn pthgmya yth haynwn bywmya dshmeyn ydykwn ythqpn tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.

ארי קדם מיתי יומיא האינון אגרא דאנשא לא הוה ואגרא דבעירא ליתוהי ולנפקיא ולעליא לית שלמא מן מעיקא ואגרי ית כל אנשא גבר בחבריה:
bkhbryh gbr ansha kl yth wagry meyqa mn shlma lyth wlelya wlnpqya lythwhy dbeyra wagra hwh la dansha agra haynwn ywmya mythy qdm ary
For before those days there was no wages for man nor any wages for an animal, neither was there any peace to him who went out or came in, because of the adversary. For I set all men everyone against his neighbor.

וכען לא כיומיא קדמאי אנא לשארא דעמא הדין אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr hdyn dema lshara ana qdmay kywmya la wken
But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days,” says Yahweh of Armies.

ארי בעדנא ההיא זרעא יהי שלם גופנא תתן אבה וארעא תתן ית עללתה ושמיא שמשינונון בטלהון ואחסין לשארא דעמא הדין ית כל ברכתא האלין:
halyn brktha kl yth hdyn dema lshara wakhsyn bTlhwn shmshynwnwn wshmya ellthh yth ththn warea abh ththn gwpna shlm yhy zrea hhya bedna ary
“For the seed of peace and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew. I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.

ויהי כמא דהויתון לוטא בעממיא בית יהודה ובית ישראל כן אפרוק יתכון ותהון מברכין לא תדחלון יתקפן ידיכון:
ydykwn ythqpn thdkhlwn la mbrkyn wthhwn ythkwn aprwq kn yshral wbyth yhwdh byth bemmya lwTa dhwythwn kma wyhy
It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”

ארי כדנן אמר יי צבאות כמא דדחשיבית לאבאשא לכון כד ארגיזו אבהתכון קדמי אמר יי צבאות ולא תבית ממימרי:
mmymry thbyth wla tsbawth yy amr qdmy abhthkwn argyzw kd lkwn labasha ddkhshybyth kma tsbawth yy amr kdnn ary
For Yahweh of Armies says: “As I thought to do evil to you when your fathers provoked me to wrath,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and I didn’t repent,

כן תבית השיבית ביומיא האלין לאיטבא ליתבי ירושלם ולדבית יהודה לא תדחלון:
thdkhlwn la yhwdh wldbyth yrwshlm lythby layTba halyn bywmya hshybyth thbyth kn
so again I have thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.

אלין פתגמיא די תעבדון מלילו קושטא גבר בחבריה קושטא ורינא דשלמא דונו בקרויכון:
bqrwykwn dwnw dshlma wryna qwshTa bkhbryh gbr qwshTa mlylw thebdwn dy pthgmya alyn
These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates,

וגבר ית בישת חבריה לא תחשבון בלבכון ושבועתא דשקרא לא תרחמון ארי ית כל אלין די רחיקת אמר יי:
yy amr rkhyqth dy alyn kl yth ary thrkhmwn la dshqra wshbwetha blbkwn thkhshbwn la khbryh byshth yth wgbr
and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath; for all these are things that I hate,” says Yahweh.

והוה פתגם נבואה מן קדם יי צבאות עמי למימר:
lmymr emy tsbawth yy qdm mn nbwah pthgm whwh
The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.

כדנן אמר יי צבאות צומא רביעאה וצומא חמישאה וצומא שביעאה וצומא עשיראה יהי לבית יהודה לביע ולחדוא ולמועדין טבין וקושטא ושלמא רחימא:
rkhyma wshlma wqwshTa Tbyn wlmwedyn wlkhdwa lbye yhwdh lbyth yhy eshyrah wtswma shbyeah wtswma khmyshah wtswma rbyeah tswma tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”
20
כדנן אמר יי צבאות עוד דייתון עממין ויתבי קרוין סגיאן:
sgyan qrwyn wythby emmyn dyythwn ewd tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come.

ויהכון יתבי חדא עם חדא למימר ניזיל מיזל לצלאה קדם יי ולמתבע אולפן מן קדם יי צבאות דין לדין יימר איזיל אף אנא:
ana ap ayzyl yymr ldyn dyn tsbawth yy qdm mn awlpn wlmthbe yy qdm ltslah myzl nyzyl lmymr khda em khda ythby wyhkwn
The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, ‘Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’

וייתון עממין סגיאין ומלכין רברבין למתבע אולפן מן קדם יי צבאות בירושלם ולצלאה קדם יי:
yy qdm wltslah byrwshlm tsbawth yy qdm mn awlpn lmthbe rbrbyn wmlkyn sgyayn emmyn wyythwn
Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.”

כדנן אמר יי צבאות ביומיא האינון די יתקפון עשרין גברא מכל לישני עממיא ויתקפון בכנף גבר יהודי למימר ניזיל עמכון ארי שמענא דמימרא דיי בסעדכון:
bsedkwn dyy dmymra shmena ary emkwn nyzyl lmymr yhwdy gbr bknp wythqpwn emmya lyshny mkl gbra eshryn ythqpwn dy haynwn bywmya tsbawth yy amr kdnn
Yahweh of Armies says: “In those days, ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, ‘We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
