ܘܗܦܟܬ ܐܪܝܡܬ ܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܚܙܝܬ ܘܗܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܡܪ̈ܟܒܢ ܢܦܩ̈ܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܢܬ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܛܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܢܚܫܐ
whpkth 'rymth eyny wkhzyth wh' 'rbe mrkbn npqn mn bynth thryn Twryn wTwr' hnwn Twr' 'nwn dnkhsh'
Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

ܒܡܪܟܒܬܐ ܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܣܘ̈ܡܩܐ ܘܒܡܪܟܒܬܐ ܕܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܐ̈ܘܟܡܐ
bmrkbth' qdmyth' rksh' swmq' wbmrkbth' dthrthyn rksh' 'wkm'
In the first chariot were red horses. In the second chariot were black horses.

ܘܒܡܪܟܒܬܐ ܕܬܠܬ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܚܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܒܡܪܟܒܬܐ ܕܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܐܘܪ̈ܓܐ
wbmrkbth' dthlth rksh' khwr' wbmrkbth' d'rbe rksh' 'wrg'
In the third chariot were white horses. In the fourth chariot were dappled horses, all of them powerful.

ܘܥܢܝܬ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܪܝ

Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”

ܥܢܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܝܢ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܪ̈ܘܚܝ ܫܡܝܐ ܕܩܝ̈ܡܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܐ ܕܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ
en' ml'k' w'mr ly hlyn 'nyn 'rbe rwkhy shmy' dqymn hwy qdm mr' dklh 're'
The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

ܕܐܝܬ ܒܗ̇ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܐ̈ܘܟܡܐ ܢܦܩܝܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܚܘܪ̈ܐ ܢܦܩܝܢ ܒܬܪܗܘܢ ܘܐܘܪ̈ܓܐ ܢܦܩܝܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܬܝܡܢܐ
d'yth bh rksh' 'wkm' npqyn l're' dgrby' wkhwr' npqyn bthrhwn w'wrg' npqyn l're' dthymn'
The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went out toward the south country.”

ܘܣ̈ܘܡܩܐ ܢܦܩܘ ܘܒܥܘ ܠܡܐܙܠ ܠܡܗܠܟܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܙܠܘ ܗܠܟܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܗܠܟܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ

The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth. He said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.

ܘܩܥܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܚܙܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܢܦܩܝܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܡܢܝܚܝܢ ܪܘܚܝ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܓܪܒܝܐ
wqe' w'mr ly khzy hlyn dnpqyn l're' dgrby' wmnykhyn rwkhy b're' dgrby'
Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܣܒ ܡܢ ܫܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܚܘܠܕܝ ܘܡܢ ܛܘܒܝܐ ܘܡܢ ܝܕܥܝܐ ܘܬܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ̇ ܘܥܘܠ ܠܒܝܬ ܝܘܫܝܐ ܒܪ ܨܦܢܝܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܡܢ ܒܒܠ
sb mn shbyth' mn khwldy wmn Twby' wmn ydey' wth' bywm' hw wewl lbyth ywshy' br tspny' d'th' mn bbl
“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.

ܣܒ ܣܐܡܗ ܘܕܗܒܗ ܘܥܒܕ ܟܠܝܠܐ ܘܣܝܡ ܒܪܝܫܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܒܪ ܝܘܙܕܩ ܟܗܢܐ ܪܒܐ

Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܗܐ ܓܒܪܐ ܘܫܡܗ ܕܢܚܐ ܘܡܢ ܠܬܚܬ ܢܕܢܚ

and speak to him, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies says, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch! He will grow up out of his place; and he will build Yahweh’s temple.

ܘܗܘ ܢܒܢܐ ܗܝܟܠܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܗܘ ܢܩܒܠ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܢܬܒ ܘܢܫܬܠܛ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܣܝܗ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܟܗܢܐ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܣܝܗ ܘܡܠܟܐ ܕܫܠܡܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܬܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ
whw nbn' hyklh dmry' whw nqbl shwbkh' wnthb wnshthlT el kwrsyh wnhw' khn' el kwrsyh wmlk' dshlm' nhw' byth thryhwn
He will build Yahweh’s temple. He will bear the glory, and will sit and rule on his throne. He will be a priest on his throne. The counsel of peace will be between them both.

ܘܟܠܝܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܚܘܠܕܝ ܘܠܛܘܒܝܐ ܘܠܝܕܥܝܐ ܘܠܝܘܫܝܐ ܒܪ ܨܦܢܝܐ ܠܕܘܟܪܢܐ ܒܗܝܟܠܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
wklyl' nhw' lkhwldy wlTwby' wlydey' wlywshy' br tspny' ldwkrn' bhyklh dmry'
The crowns shall be to Helem, to Tobijah, to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.

ܘܢܐܬܘܢ ܪ̈ܚܝܩܐ ܘܢܒܢܘܢ ܗܝܟܠܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܫܕܪܢܝ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܐܢ ܬܫܡܥܘܢ ܒܩܠܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ
wn'thwn rkhyq' wnbnwn hyklh dmry' wthdewn dmry' khylthn' shdrny lwthkwn 'n thshmewn bqlh dmry' 'lhkwn
Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey Yahweh your God’s voice.”’”
