ܘܗܦܟ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܘܐܥܝܪܢܝ ܐܝܟ ܓܒܪܐ ܕܡܬܬܥܝܪ ܡܢ ܫܢܬܗ
shnthh mn dmththeyr gbr' 'yk w'eyrny by dmmll ml'k' whpk
The angel who talked with me came again and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܡܢܐ ܚܙܝܬ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܚܙܝܬ ܡܢܪܬܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܘܟܦܬܐ ܥܠ ܪܝܫܗ̇ ܘܫܒܥܐ ܫܪ̈ܓܝܢ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܘܫܒܥܐ ܫܒܥܐ ܦܘܡܝܢ ܠܫܪܓܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܪܝܫܗ̇
bryshh d'yth lshrg' pwmyn shbe' wshbe' elyh shrgyn wshbe' ryshh el wkpth' ddhb' mnrth' khzyth w'mrth khzyth mn' ly w'mr
He said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I have seen, and behold, a lamp stand all of gold, with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it; there are seven pipes to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;

ܘܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܙܝ̈ܬܝܢ ܐܝܬ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ̇ ܕܟܦܬܐ ܘܚܕ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܗ̇
smlh mn wkhd dkpth' ymynh mn khd elyh 'yth zythyn wthryn
and two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it.”

ܘܥܢܝܬ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܪܝ
mry hlyn 'nwn mn' by dmmll lml'k' w'mrth wenyth
I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”

ܥܢܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝ
mry 'n' yde l' w'mrth hlyn 'nwn mn' 'nth yde l' ly w'mr by dmmll ml'k' en'
Then the angel who talked with me answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܢܘ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܙܘܪܒܒܠ ܠܐ ܒܚܝܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܥܘܫܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܒܪܘܚ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ
khylthn' mry' 'mr brwkh 'n 'l' bewshn' wl' bkhyl' l' zwrbbl el dmry' pthgmh hnw ly w'mr
Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

ܡܢܐ ܐܢܬ ܛܘܪܐ ܪܒܐ ܩܕܡ ܙܘܪܒܒܠ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܦܩܥܬܐ ܘܐܦܩ ܠܟܐܦܐ ܪܫܝܬܐ ܕܫܘܝܘܬܐ ܘܕܪ̈ܚܡܐ
wdrkhm' dshwywth' rshyth' lk'p' w'pq pqeth' 'yk 'l' zwrbbl qdm rb' Twr' 'nth mn'
Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are a plain; and he will bring out the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace, to it!’”

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܙܘܪܒܒܠ ܣܡ ܫܬܐ̈ܣܘܗܝ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܡܫ̈ܠܡܢ ܠܗ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܫܕܪܢܝ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ
lwthkwn shdrny khylthn' dmry' wthdewn lh mshlmn w'ydwhy hn' dbyth' shth'swhy sm dzwrbbl 'ydwhy
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢܘ ܫܐܛ ܠܝ̈ܘܡܬܐ ܙܥܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܢܚܘܪܘܢ ܘܢܚܙܘܢ ܠܟܐܦܐ ܕܦܘܪܫܢܐ ܒܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܙܘܪܒܒܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܝܢ ܫܒܥ ܥܝܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܚܝܪ̈ܢ ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ
're' bklh dkhyrn dmry' eynwhy shbe 'nyn hlyn dzwrbbl b'ydwhy dpwrshn' lk'p' wnkhzwn wnkhwrwn zewr' lywmth' sh'T dmnw mTl
Indeed, who despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are Yahweh’s eyes, which run back and forth through the whole earth.”

ܥܢܝܬ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܗ ܘܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܙܝ̈ܬܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ̇ ܕܟܦܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܣܡܠܗ̇
smlh wmn dkpth' ymynh dmn zythyn thryn hlyn 'nwn wmn' lh w'mrth enyth
Then I asked him, “What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lamp stand and on the left side of it?”

ܥܢܝܬ ܕܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܙܒ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܗ ܘܡܢܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܣܘ̈ܟܐ ܕܙܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܢܬ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܢܚܝܪ̈ܝܢ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܕܢܣܟܝܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܕܗܒܐ
dhb' mnhwn dnskyn ddhb' nkhyryn thryn dbynth dzyth' swk' thrthyn hlyn 'nyn wmn' lh w'mrth zbnyn dthrthyn enyth
I asked him the second time, “What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden spouts that pour the golden oil out of themselves?”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܐ ܡܪܝ
mry l' w'mrth hlyn 'nwn mn' 'nth yde l' ly w'mr
He answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܕܘܗܢܐ ܕܩܝܡܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܐ ܕܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ
're' dklh mr' qdm dqymyn dwhn' bny thryn 'nwn hlyn ly w'mr
Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
