ܘܐܪܝܡܬ ܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܚܙܝܬ ܘܗܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܩܪ̈ܢܢ
qrnn 'rbe wh' wkhzyth eyny w'rymth
I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܡܢܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܪܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܝܢ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܕܒܕܪ ܠܝܗܘܕܐ ܘܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ
wl'wrshlm wl'ysryl lyhwd' dbdr qrnth' 'nyn hlyn ly w'mr mry hlyn 'nyn mn' by dmmll lml'k' w'mrth
Then I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

ܘܚܘܝܢܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܐ ܢܓܪ̈ܐ

Behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,

ܘܐܡܪܬ ܡܢܐ ܐܬܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܕܒܕܪ ܠܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܝܟ ܦܘܡܗ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܪܝܡ ܪܝܫܗ ܘܐܬܘ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܢܙܝܥܘܢ ܐܢܝܢ ܘܢܥܩܪܘܢ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܡܪܝܡܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܩܪܢܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܠܡܒܕܪܘܬܗ̇
lmbdrwthh dyhwd' 're' el qrn' hww dmrymyn demm' qrnth' wneqrwn 'nyn dnzyewn hlyn w'thw ryshh 'rym dl' dgbr' pwmh 'yk lyhwd' dbdr qrnth' hlyn ly w'mr lmebd hlyn 'thyn mn' w'mrth
and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

ܘܐܪܝܡܬ ܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܚܙܝܬ ܓܒܪܐ ܘܒܐܝܕܗ ܫܘܝܬܐ ܕܡܫܘܚܬܐ
dmshwkhth' shwyth' wb'ydh gbr' wkhzyth eyny w'rymth
For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.

ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܗ ܠܐܝܟܐ ܐܙܠ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܕܐܡܫܚܝܗ̇ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܐܚܙܐ ܟܡܐ ܐܘܪܟܗ̇ ܘܟܡܐ ܦܬܝܗ̇
pthyh wkm' 'wrkh km' w'khz' l'wrshlm d'mshkhyh ly w'mr 'nth 'zl l'yk' lh w'mrth
Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.

ܘܢܦܩ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܒܝ ܘܡܠܐܟܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܐܬܐ ܠܐܘܪܥܗ

‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܗܪܛ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܥܠܝܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܓܘܪ̈ܣܐ ܬܬܒ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܡܢ ܣܘܓܐܐ ܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܘܕܒܥܝܪܐ ܕܒܓܘܗ̇
dbgwh wdbeyr' 'nsh' dbny swg'' mn 'wrshlm ththb 'gwrs' hw lelym' w'mr hrT lh w'mr
For Yahweh of Armies says: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܫܘܪܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܘܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܒܓܘܗ̇
bgwh 'hw' wlthshbwkhth' dnwr' shwr' 'yk mry' 'mr bgwh 'hw' w'n'
For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.

ܐܘ ܐܘ ܥܪܘܩܘ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܓܪܒܝܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܪ̈ܘܚܝ ܫܡܝܐ ܒܕܪܬܟܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ

Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold, I come and I will dwell within you,’ says Yahweh.

ܐܘ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܐܫܬܘܙܒܝ ܥܡܘܪܬܐ ܕܒܪܬ ܒܒܠ

Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܒܬܪ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܫܕܪܢܝ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܒܙܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܡ̇ܢ ܕܩܪܒ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܒܒܬܐ ܗܘ ܕܥܝܢܗ ܩܪܒ
qrb deynh hw lbbth' lkwn dqrb wmn lkwn dbzyn emm' el shdrny 'yqr' bthr khylthn' mry' 'mr dhkn' mTl
Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܒܙܬܐ ܥܒ̈ܕܝܗܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܫܕܪܢܝ
shdrny khylthn' dmry' wthdewn ebdyhwn lbzth' wnhwwn elyhwn 'ydy 'n' mrym 'n' dh' mTl
Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”

ܘܢܬܠܘܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܘܢܫܪܐ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܫܕܪܢܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ

ܘܢܐܪܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܝܗܘܕܐ ܡܢܬܗ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ ܘܢܨܛܒܐ ܬܘܒ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
