1
וזקפית ית עיני וחזית והא ארבע מלכון:
mlkwn arbe wha wkhzyth eyny yth wzqpyth
I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2
ואמרית למלאכא דמליל עמי מן אלין ואמר לי אלין מלכותא דבדרא ית אנש יהודה וית ישראל ויתבי ירושלם:
yrwshlm wythby yshral wyth yhwdh ansh yth dbdra mlkwtha alyn ly wamr alyn mn emy dmlyl lmlaka wamryth
Then I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

ואחזיני יי ארבעא אומנין:
awmnyn arbea yy wakhzyny
Behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,

ואמרית מה אלין אתן למעבד ואמר למימר אלין מלכותא דבדרא ית אנש יהודה ולא שבקא להלכא בקומה זקופה ואתו אלין לאזעא יתהון למתבר ית מלכות עממיא דנטלא זין על ארעא דבית יהודה לאגליותה:
laglywthh yhwdh dbyth area el zyn dnTla emmya mlkwth yth lmthbr ythhwn lazea alyn wathw zqwph bqwmh lhlka shbqa wla yhwdh ansh yth dbdra mlkwtha alyn lmymr wamr lmebd athn alyn mh wamryth
and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

וזקפית עיני וחזית והא גברא ובידיה חוט דמשחתא:
dmshkhtha khwT wbydyh gbra wha wkhzyth eyny wzqpyth
For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.
6
ואמרית לאן את אזיל ואמר לי לממשח ית ירושלם למחזי כמה פותיה וכמה אורכה:
awrkh wkmh pwthyh kmh lmkhzy yrwshlm yth lmmshkh ly wamr azyl ath lan wamryth
Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.

והא מלאכא דמליל עמי נפיק ומלאכא אוחרנא נפיק לקדמותיה:
lqdmwthyh npyq awkhrna wmlaka npyq emy dmlyl mlaka wha
‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’

ואמר ליה רהוט מליל עם עולימא דיכי למימר פצחין תיתיב ירושלם מסני אנשא ובעירא בגוה:
bgwh wbeyra ansha msny yrwshlm thythyb ptskhyn lmymr dyky ewlyma em mlyl rhwT lyh wamr
For Yahweh of Armies says: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

ומימרי יהי לה אמר יי כשור דאשא מקף לה סחור סחור וביקר אשרי שכנתי בגוה:
bgwh shknthy ashry wbyqr skhwr skhwr lh mqp dasha kshwr yy amr lh yhy wmymry
For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.

אכלו למבדריא ואמרו להון אתכנשו מארעא צפונא אמר יי ארי כארבע רוחי שמיא בדרית יתכון אמר יי:
yy amr ythkwn bdryth shmya rwkhy karbe ary yy amr tspwna marea athknshw lhwn wamrw lmbdrya aklw
Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold, I come and I will dwell within you,’ says Yahweh.

אכלו לכנשתא דציון ואמרו לה אשתיזבי ואתא דיתבא במדינת בבל:
bbl bmdynth dythba watha ashthyzby lh wamrw dtsywn lknshtha aklw
Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

ארי כדנן אמר יי צבאות בתר יקרא דאמיר לאיתאה עליכון שלחני על עממיא דבזזין יתכון ארי דמנזיק בכון כד מושיט ידיה למקרב בגלגלי עינוהי:
eynwhy bglgly lmqrb ydyh mwshyT kd bkwn dmnzyq ary ythkwn dbzzyn emmya el shlkhny elykwn laythah damyr yqra bthr tsbawth yy amr kdnn ary
Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

ארי הא אנא מרים ית מחת גבורתי עליהון ויהון עדי לפלחיהון ותידעון ארי יי צבאות שלחני:
shlkhny tsbawth yy ary wthydewn lplkhyhwn edy wyhwn elyhwn gbwrthy mkhth yth mrym ana ha ary
Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”

בועי וחדי כנשתא דציון ארי הא אנא מתגלי ואשרי שכנתי בגויך אמר יי:
yy amr bgwyk shknthy washry mthgly ana ha ary dtsywn knshtha wkhdy bwey
15
ויתוספון עממין סגיאין על עמיה דיי בעדנא ההיא ויהון קדמי לעם ואשרי שכנתי בגויך ותידעון ארי יי צבאות שלחני לאתנבאה עלך:
elk lathnbah shlkhny tsbawth yy ary wthydewn bgwyk shknthy washry lem qdmy wyhwn hhya bedna dyy emyh el sgyayn emmyn wythwspwn

ויחסין יי לדבית יהודה חולקהון על ארעא דקודשא ויתרעי עוד בירושלם:
byrwshlm ewd wythrey dqwdsha area el khwlqhwn yhwdh ldbyth yy wykhsyn
