ܚܙܘܐ ܕܦܬܓܡܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܬܚ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܬܩܢ ܫܬܐܣܝܗ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܒܪܐ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܒܪܢܫܐ ܒܓܘܗ

A revelation of Yahweh’s word concerning Israel: Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:

ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܗ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܪܥܠܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܚܕܝܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܐܦ ܥܠ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܥܡ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ
'wrshlm em 'wltsn' nhw' yhwd' el 'p lh dkhdyryn emm' lklhwn drel' thre' l'wrshlm lh 'n' ebd 'n' h'
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and it will also be on Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܐܥܒܕܝܗ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܟܐܦܐ ܕܕܝܫܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܘܫܝܗ ܡܣܬܪܛܘ ܢܣܬܪܛܘܢ ܘܢܬܟܢܫܘܢ ܥܠܝܗ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' emm' klhwn elyh wnthknshwn nsthrTwn msthrTw dywshyh wklhwn emm' lklhwn ddysh' k'p' l'wrshlm 'ebdyh hw bywm' bh wnhw'
It will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡܚܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܪܟܫܗ ܒܬܡܗܐ ܘܪܟܒܝܗܘܢ ܒܬܘܪܐ ܘܥܠ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܦܬܚ ܥܝܢܝ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܪܟܫܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܐܡܚܐ ܒܥܘܪܐ
bewr' 'mkh' demm' rksh' wklhwn eyny 'pthkh yhwd' dbyth wel bthwr' wrkbyhwn bthmh' rkshh lklhwn 'mkh' mry' 'mr hw bywm' bh
In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will strike every horse with terror and his rider with madness. I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܪܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܒܠܒܗܘܢ ܥܫܢܘ ܡܢܢ ܥܡܘܪܝܗ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܒܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܐܠܗܗܘܢ
'lhhwn khylthn' bmry' d'wrshlm emwryh mnn eshnw blbhwn dyhwd' rwrbn' wn'mrwn
The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of Armies their God.’

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܐܥܒܕ ܠܪܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܝܟ ܓܡܘܪܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܒܩܝܣܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܠܡܦܐܕܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܒܚܒܬܐ ܘܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܠܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܠܣܡܠܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܚܕܝܪܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܬܬܒ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܬܘܒ ܒܕܘܟܬܗ̇ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
b'wrshlm bdwkthh thwb 'wrshlm wththb lhwn dkhdyryn emm' lklhwn wlsml' lymyn' wn'klwn bkhbth' dnwr' lmp'd' w'yk bqys' dnwr' gmwrth' 'yk dyhwd' lrwrbn' 'ebd hw bywm' bh
In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

ܘܢܦܩܘܕ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܫܟܢܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܠܐ ܬܣܓܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܕܘܝܕ ܘܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܥܡܘܪܝܗ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܥܠ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ
yhwd' dbyth el d'wrshlm demwryh wthshbwkhth' dwyd dbyth thshbwkhth' thsg' dl' mTwl lwqdm dmn 'yk dyhwd' lmshkn' mry' wnpqwd
Yahweh also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of David’s house and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܢܓܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܥܡܘܪܝܗ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܕܒܗܘܢ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܘܝܕ ܘܒܝܬ ܕܘܝܕ ܐܝܟ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܠܐܟܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ
dqdmyhwn dmry' ml'kh 'yk 'lh' 'yk dwyd wbyth dwyd 'yk hw bywm' dbhwn kryh' wnhw' d'wrshlm emwryh el mry' ngn hw bywm' bh
In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like Yahweh’s angel before them.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܐܒܥܐ ܠܡܘܒܕܘ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܬܝܢ ܥܠ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ
'wrshlm el d'thyn emm' lklhwn lmwbdw 'be' hw bywm' bh wnhw'
It will happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

ܘܐܫܘܕ ܥܠ ܕܒܝܬ ܕܘܝܕ ܘܥܠ ܥܡܘܪܝܗ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܪܘܚܦܐ ܘܕܪܚܡܐ ܘܢܚܘܪܘܢ ܠܘܬܝ ܒܡܢ ܕܕܩܪܘ ܘܢܪܩܕܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܪܩܕܝܢ ܥܠ ܝܚܝܕܐ ܘܢܬܬܒܪܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܬܬܒܪܝܢ ܥܠ ܒܘܟܪܐ
bwkr' el dmththbryn 'yk elwhy wnththbrwn ykhyd' el dmrqdyn 'yk elwhy wnrqdwn ddqrw bmn lwthy wnkhwrwn wdrkhm' drwkhp' rwkh' d'wrshlm emwryh wel dwyd dbyth el w'shwd
I will pour on David’s house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܬܣܓܐ ܡܪܩܘܕܬܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܐܝܟ ܡܪܩܘܕܬܐ ܕܒܪ ܐܡܘܢ ܕܒܦܩܥܬ ܡܓܕܘ
mgdw dbpqeth 'mwn dbr mrqwdth' 'yk b'wrshlm mrqwdth' thsg' hw bywm' bh
In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddo.

ܘܬܪܩܕ ܐܪܥܐ ܫܪܒܢ ܫܪܒܢ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ ܫܪܒܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܕܘܝܕ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܫܪܒܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܢܬܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ
'kkhd' wnshyhwn 'kkhd' nthn dbyth shrbth' 'kkhd' wnshyhwn 'kkhd' dwyd dbyth shrbth' khd' 'yk shrbn shrbn 're' wthrqd
The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of David’s house apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

ܫܪܒܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܫܡܥܘܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ
'kkhd' wnshyhwn 'kkhd' shmewn dbyth shrbth'
the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;
