שאילו מן קדם יי מטרא בעדן לקיש יי עביד רוחא ומחית מטרא לבני אנשא למתן להון עבורא למיכל ועסבא לבעירא בחקלא:
bkhqla lbeyra wesba lmykl ebwra lhwn lmthn ansha lbny mTra wmkhyth rwkha ebyd yy lqysh bedn mTra yy qdm mn shaylw
Ask of Yahweh rain in the spring time, Yahweh who makes storm clouds, and he gives rain showers to everyone for the plants in the field.

ארי פלחי צלמיא ממללין אונס וקוסמיא מתנבן שקר ונביי שקרא בנבואת שקריהון שקרא ממללין לא מדעם מנחמין על כן אתבדרו כבדור ענא גלו ארי לית מלך:
mlk lyth ary glw ena kbdwr athbdrw kn el mnkhmyn mdem la mmllyn shqra shqryhwn bnbwath shqra wnbyy shqr mthnbn wqwsmya awns mmllyn tslmya plkhy ary
For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie; and they have told false dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are oppressed, because there is no shepherd.

על מלכיא הוה רוגזי ועל שלטוניא אנא מסער עליהון חוביהון ארי דכיר יי צבאות ית עמיה ית דבית יהודה וישוי יתהון כסוסי תקיף דזותן בקרבא:
bqrba dzwthn thqyp kswsy ythhwn wyshwy yhwdh dbyth yth emyh yth tsbawth yy dkyr ary khwbyhwn elyhwn mser ana shlTwnya wel rwgzy hwh mlkya el
My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats, for Yahweh of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

מניה מלכיה מניה משיחיה מניה תקוף קרביה מניה יתרבון כל פרנסוהי כחדא:
kkhda prnswhy kl ythrbwn mnyh qrbyh thqwp mnyh mshykhyh mnyh mlkyh mnyh
From him will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.

ויהון גברי בית ישראל דישין קטילי עממיא בטין שוקין בקרבא ויגחון קרב ארי מימרא דיי בסעדהון ויבהתון רכבי סוסון:
swswn rkby wybhthwn bsedhwn dyy mymra ary qrb wygkhwn bqrba shwqyn bTyn emmya qTyly dyshyn yshral byth gbry wyhwn
They will be as mighty men, treading down muddy streets in the battle. They will fight, because Yahweh is with them. The riders on horses will be confounded.

ואדבר ית דבית יהודה וית דבית יוסף אפרוק ואכנוש גלותהון וארחם עליהון ויהון כדלא טלטלתינון ארי אנא יי אלההון ואקביל צלותהון:
tslwthhwn waqbyl alhhwn yy ana ary TlTlthynwn kdla wyhwn elyhwn warkhm glwthhwn waknwsh aprwq ywsp dbyth wyth yhwdh dbyth yth wadbr
“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, for I have mercy on them. They will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them.

ויהון כגברין דבית אפרים ויחדי לבהון כשתי חמר ובניהון יחזון ויחדון יבוע לבהון במימרא דיי:
dyy bmymra lbhwn ybwe wykhdwn ykhzwn wbnyhwn khmr kshthy lbhwn wykhdy aprym dbyth kgbryn wyhwn
Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as through wine. Yes, their children will see it and rejoice. Their heart will be glad in Yahweh.

אכלי לכנשא גלותהון ואקרבינון ארי פרקתינון ויסגון כמא די אמר עליהון יסגון:
ysgwn elyhwn amr dy kma wysgwn prqthynwn ary waqrbynwn glwthhwn lknsha akly
I will signal for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. They will increase as they were before.

וכמא דבדרתינון ביני עממיא ובארעא רחיקא הוו דכירין לדחלתי ויורכון שני חיין עם בניהון ויתובון:
wythwbwn bnyhwn em khyyn shny wywrkwn ldkhlthy dkyryn hww rkhyqa wbarea emmya byny dbdrthynwn wkma
I will sow them among the peoples. They will remember me in far countries. They will live with their children and will return.

וכמא דאפקתינון מארעא דמצרים כן מאתור אקרב גלותהון ולארעא גלעד ומקדשא אעילינון ולא יספיק להון:
lhwn yspyq wla aeylynwn wmqdsha gled wlarea glwthhwn aqrb mathwr kn dmtsrym marea dapqthynwn wkma
I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and there won’t be room enough for them.

ויתעבדון להון נסין וגבורן כמא דאתעבידו לאבהתכון בימא ויחזון בפורענות סנאיהון כמא דאיטרפו גבריא כגלי ימא ויבהתון כל מלכי עממיא ויבטיל תוקפא מאתוראה ושלטן מצרים יעדי:
yedy mtsrym wshlTn mathwrah thwqpa wybTyl emmya mlky kl wybhthwn yma kgly gbrya dayTrpw kma snayhwn bpwrenwth wykhzwn byma labhthkwn dathebydw kma wgbwrn nsyn lhwn wythebdwn
He will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.
