ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܚܠܝܡܐ
'nth dyn mll mdm dy'' lywlpn' khlym'
But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

ܘܐܠܦ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܩܫܝܫܐ ܥܝܪܝܢ ܒܪܥܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܢܟܦܝܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܟܝܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܚܠܝܡܝܢ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܘܒܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ
w'lp dnhwwn qshysh' eyryn breynyhwn wnhwwn nkpyn wnhwwn dkyn wnhwwn khlymyn bhymnwth' wbkhwb' wbmsybrnwth'
that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance:

ܘܐܦ ܩܫܝܫܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܕܢܗܘܝܢ ܒܐܣܟܡܐ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܝܢ ܐܟܠܢ ܩܪܨܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܝܢ ܡܫܥܒܕܢ ܠܚܡܪܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܡܠܦܢ ܫܦܝܪܬܐ
w'p qshyshth' hkn' dnhwyn b'skm' dy'' ldkhlth 'lh' wl' nhwyn 'kln qrts' wl' nhwyn mshebdn lkhmr' sgy'' wnhwyn mlpn shpyrth'
and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

ܘܡܢܟܦܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܛܠܝܢ ܕܢܪܚܡܢ ܒܥܠܝܗܝܢ ܘܒܢܝܗܝܢ
wmnkpn l'ylyn dTlyn dnrkhmn belyhyn wbnyhyn
that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children,

ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܢܟܦܢ ܘܩܕܝܫܢ ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܝܨܦܢ ܫܦܝܪ ܕܒܬܝܗܝܢ ܘܡܫܬܥܒܕܢ ܠܒܥܠܝܗܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܓܕܦ ܥܠ ܡܠܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
wnhwyn nkpn wqdyshn wnhwyn ytspn shpyr dbthyhyn wmshthebdn lbelyhyn dl' 'nsh ngdp el mlthh d'lh'
to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.

ܘܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܛܠܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܒܥܝ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܢܟܦܝܢ
wmn 'ylyn dTlyn hkn' bey dnhwwn nkpyn
Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded;

ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܒܢܦܫܟ ܚܘܐ ܒܟܠ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܒܡܠܦܢܘܬܟ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܟ ܡܠܬܐ ܚܠܝܡܬܐ
bklmdm dyn dmwth' bnpshk khw' bkl ebd' Tb' wbmlpnwthk thhw' lk mlth' khlymth'
in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

ܕܢܟܦܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܚܒܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܒܣܪ ܠܗ ܕܐܝܢܐ ܕܩܐܡ ܠܩܘܒܠܢ ܢܒܗܬ ܟܕ ܠܐ ܢܫܟܚ ܕܢܐܡܪ ܥܠܝܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܣܢܐ
dnkp' wl' mkhbl' wl' 'nsh bsr lh d'yn' dq'm lqwbln nbhth kd l' nshkkh dn'mr elyn mdm dsn'
and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

ܥܒܕܐ ܠܡܪܝܗܘܢ ܢܫܬܥܒܕܘܢ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܘܢܫܬܦܪܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܡܥܨܝܢ
ebd' lmryhwn nshthebdwn bklmdm wnshthprwn wl' hww metsyn
Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting;

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܓܢܒܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܢܚܘܘܢ ܫܪܪܗܘܢ ܛܒܐ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܢܨܒܬܘܢ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܝܘܠܦܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܢܢ
wl' hww gnbyn 'l' nkhwwn shrrhwn Tb' bklmdm dntsbthwn bklmdm ywlpnh d'lh' mkhynn
not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

ܐܬܓܠܝܬ ܓܝܪ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܬ ܟܠ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ
'thglyth gyr Tybwthh d'lh' mkhyth kl lbnynsh' klhwn
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

ܘܪܕܝܐ ܠܢ ܕܢܟܦܘܪ ܒܪܘܫܥܐ ܘܒܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܘܢܚܐ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܘܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ
wrdy' ln dnkpwr brwshe' wbrgygth' delm' wnkh' belm' hn' bnkpwth' wbk'nwth' wbdkhlth 'lh'
instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;

ܟܕ ܡܣܟܝܢܢ ܠܣܒܪܐ ܒܪܝܟܐ ܘܠܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܡܚܝܢܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ

looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;

ܕܗܘ ܝܗܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܚܠܦܝܢ ܕܢܦܪܩܢ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܥܘܠܐ ܘܢܕܟܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܗ ܥܡܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܕܚܣܡ ܒܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ
dhw yhb npshh khlpyn dnprqn mn kl ewl' wndkyn lnpshh em' khdth' dkhsm bebd' Tb'
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

ܗܠܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܘܒܥܝ ܘܟܘܢ ܒܟܠ ܦܘܩܕܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܒܣܐ ܒܟ
hlyn mll wbey wkwn bkl pwqdn wl' 'nsh nbs' bk
Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise you.
