ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܚܠܝܡܐ
khlym' lywlpn' dy'' mdm mll dyn 'nth
But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

ܘܐܠܦ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܩܫܝܫܐ ܥܝܪܝܢ ܒܪܥܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܢܟܦܝܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܟܝܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܚܠܝܡܝܢ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܘܒܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ
wbmsybrnwth' wbkhwb' bhymnwth' khlymyn wnhwwn dkyn wnhwwn nkpyn wnhwwn breynyhwn eyryn qshysh' dnhwwn w'lp
that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance:

ܘܐܦ ܩܫܝܫܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܕܢܗܘܝܢ ܒܐܣܟܡܐ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܝܢ ܐܟܠܢ ܩܪܨܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܝܢ ܡܫܥܒܕܢ ܠܚܡܪܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܡܠܦܢ ܫܦܝܪܬܐ
shpyrth' mlpn wnhwyn sgy'' lkhmr' mshebdn nhwyn wl' qrts' 'kln nhwyn wl' 'lh' ldkhlth dy'' b'skm' dnhwyn hkn' qshyshth' w'p
and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

ܘܡܢܟܦܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܛܠܝܢ ܕܢܪܚܡܢ ܒܥܠܝܗܝܢ ܘܒܢܝܗܝܢ
wbnyhyn belyhyn dnrkhmn dTlyn l'ylyn wmnkpn
that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children,

ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܢܟܦܢ ܘܩܕܝܫܢ ܘܢܗܘܝܢ ܝܨܦܢ ܫܦܝܪ ܕܒܬܝܗܝܢ ܘܡܫܬܥܒܕܢ ܠܒܥܠܝܗܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܓܕܦ ܥܠ ܡܠܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' mlthh el ngdp 'nsh dl' lbelyhyn wmshthebdn dbthyhyn shpyr ytspn wnhwyn wqdyshn nkpn wnhwyn
to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.

ܘܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܛܠܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܒܥܝ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܢܟܦܝܢ
nkpyn dnhwwn bey hkn' dTlyn 'ylyn wmn
Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded;

ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܒܢܦܫܟ ܚܘܐ ܒܟܠ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܒܡܠܦܢܘܬܟ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܟ ܡܠܬܐ ܚܠܝܡܬܐ
khlymth' mlth' lk thhw' wbmlpnwthk Tb' ebd' bkl khw' bnpshk dmwth' dyn bklmdm
in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

ܕܢܟܦܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܚܒܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܒܣܪ ܠܗ ܕܐܝܢܐ ܕܩܐܡ ܠܩܘܒܠܢ ܢܒܗܬ ܟܕ ܠܐ ܢܫܟܚ ܕܢܐܡܪ ܥܠܝܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܣܢܐ
dsn' mdm elyn dn'mr nshkkh l' kd nbhth lqwbln dq'm d'yn' lh bsr 'nsh wl' mkhbl' wl' dnkp'
and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

ܥܒܕܐ ܠܡܪܝܗܘܢ ܢܫܬܥܒܕܘܢ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܘܢܫܬܦܪܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܡܥܨܝܢ
metsyn hww wl' wnshthprwn bklmdm nshthebdwn lmryhwn ebd'
Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting;

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܓܢܒܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܢܚܘܘܢ ܫܪܪܗܘܢ ܛܒܐ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܢܨܒܬܘܢ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܝܘܠܦܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܢܢ
mkhynn d'lh' ywlpnh bklmdm dntsbthwn bklmdm Tb' shrrhwn nkhwwn 'l' gnbyn hww wl'
not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

ܐܬܓܠܝܬ ܓܝܪ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܬ ܟܠ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ
klhwn lbnynsh' kl mkhyth d'lh' Tybwthh gyr 'thglyth
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

ܘܪܕܝܐ ܠܢ ܕܢܟܦܘܪ ܒܪܘܫܥܐ ܘܒܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܘܢܚܐ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܘܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' wbdkhlth wbk'nwth' bnkpwth' hn' belm' wnkh' delm' wbrgygth' brwshe' dnkpwr ln wrdy'
instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;

ܟܕ ܡܣܟܝܢܢ ܠܣܒܪܐ ܒܪܝܟܐ ܘܠܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܡܚܝܢܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe wmkhynn rb' d'lh' dthshbwkhthh wlglyn' bryk' lsbr' mskynn kd
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;

ܕܗܘ ܝܗܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܚܠܦܝܢ ܕܢܦܪܩܢ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܥܘܠܐ ܘܢܕܟܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܗ ܥܡܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܕܚܣܡ ܒܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ
Tb' bebd' dkhsm khdth' em' lnpshh wndkyn ewl' kl mn dnprqn khlpyn npshh yhb dhw
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

ܗܠܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܘܒܥܝ ܘܟܘܢ ܒܟܠ ܦܘܩܕܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܒܣܐ ܒܟ

Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise you.
