ואמרת לה נעמי חמותה ברתי בשבועה לא אניח עד דאתבע ליך ניחא בגין דייטב ליך:
lyk dyyTb bgyn nykha lyk dathbe ed anykh la bshbweh brthy khmwthh nemy lh wamrth
Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, shall I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you?

וכען הלא בועז דאשתמודע לנא דהוית בחקלא עם עולימתוי הא הוא מבדר ית אדר סעורין ברוחא די בליליא:
blylya dy brwkha sewryn adr yth mbdr hwa ha ewlymthwy em bkhqla dhwyth lna dashthmwde bwez hla wken
Now isn’t Boaz our kinsman, with whose maidens you were? Behold, he will be winnowing barley tonight on the threshing floor.

ותחלילי במיא ותסוכי בוסמנין ותשויאי תכשיטיך עלך ותיחתין לאדרא לא תתפרסמי לגוברא עד שיציותיה למיכל ולמשתי:
wlmshthy lmykl shytsywthyh ed lgwbra ththprsmy la ladra wthykhthyn elk thkshyTyk wthshwyay bwsmnyn wthswky bmya wthkhlyly
Therefore wash yourself, anoint yourself, get dressed, and go down to the threshing floor; but don’t make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.

ויהי בעדן משכבי דמכיה ותדעין ית אתרא דידמוך תמן ותיעלין ותגליאי ית רגלוי ותדמוכי ותהא שאלה מניה עיטא והוא יחוי ליך בחכמתיה ית די תעבדון:
thebdwn dy yth bkhkmthyh lyk ykhwy whwa eyTa mnyh shalh wthha wthdmwky rglwy yth wthglyay wthyelyn thmn dydmwk athra yth wthdeyn dmkyh mshkby bedn wyhy
It shall be, when he lies down, that you shall note the place where he is lying. Then you shall go in, uncover his feet, and lie down. Then he will tell you what to do.”

ואמרת לה כל דתימרין לי אעביד:
aebyd ly dthymryn kl lh wamrth
She said to her, “All that you say, I will do.”

ונחתת לאדרא ועבדת ככל די פקדת חמות:
khmwth pqdth dy kkl webdth ladra wnkhthth
She went down to the threshing floor, and did everything that her mother-in-law told her.

ואכל בועז ושתי ואוטיב לביה ובריך שמא דיי דקביל צלותיה ואעדי כפנא מן ארעא דישראל ואתא לדמכא בסטר ערימתא ועלת רות ברז וגליאת רגלוי ודמיכת:
wdmykth rglwy wglyath brz rwth welth erymtha bsTr ldmka watha dyshral area mn kpna waedy tslwthyh dqbyl dyy shma wbryk lbyh wawTyb wshthy bwez wakl
When Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain. She came softly, uncovered his feet, and lay down.

והוה בפלגות ליליא ותוה גוברא ורתית ואתרכיך כלפתא בשריה מן רתיתא וחזא אתתא דמכא לקבל רגלוי וכבש יצריה ולא קריב לותה היכמא דעבד יוסף צדיקא דסריב למקרב לות מצריתא אתת רבוניה והיכמא דעבד פלטיאל בר ליש חסידא דנעץ סיפא בין מימריה ובין מיכל בת שאול אתת דוד דסריב למקרב לותה:
lwthh lmqrb dsryb dwd athth shawl bth mykl wbyn mymryh byn sypa dnets khsyda lysh br plTyal debd whykma rbwnyh athth mtsrytha lwth lmqrb dsryb tsdyqa ywsp debd hykma lwthh qryb wla ytsryh wkbsh rglwy lqbl dmka aththa wkhza rthytha mn bshryh klptha wathrkyk wrthyth gwbra wthwh lylya bplgwth whwh
At midnight, the man was startled and turned himself; and behold, a woman lay at his feet.

ואמר מן את ואמרת אנא רות אמתך ויתקרי שמך על אמתך למסבי לאנתו ארום פריק אנת:
anth pryq arwm lanthw lmsby amthk el shmk wythqry amthk rwth ana wamrth ath mn wamr
He said, “Who are you?” She answered, “I am Ruth your servant. Therefore spread the corner of your garment over your servant; for you are a near kinsman.”

ואמר בריכא אנת מן קדם יי ברתי אוטיבת טיבותיך בתרא מן קדמאה קדמאה דאתגירת ובתראה דעבדת גרמיך כאתתא דנטרא ליבם קליל עד זמן דירבי בגין דלא למהך בתר רבין למעבד זנו עמהון אם מסכין ואם עתיר:
ethyr wam mskyn am emhwn znw lmebd rbyn bthr lmhk dla bgyn dyrby zmn ed qlyl lybm dnTra kaththa grmyk debdth wbthrah dathgyrth qdmah qdmah mn bthra Tybwthyk awTybth brthy yy qdm mn anth bryka wamr
He said, “You are blessed by Yahweh, my daughter. You have shown more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, because you didn’t follow young men, whether poor or rich.

וכען ברתי לא תדחלין כל דתימרין לי אעביד ליך ארום גלי קדם כל יתבי תרע סנהדרין רבא דעמי ארום אתתא צדיקתא אנת ואית ביך חילא לסוברא ניר פקודיא דיי:
dyy pqwdya nyr lswbra khyla byk wayth anth tsdyqtha aththa arwm demy rba snhdryn thre ythby kl qdm gly arwm lyk aebyd ly dthymryn kl thdkhlyn la brthy wken
Now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do to you all that you say; for all the city of my people knows that you are a worthy woman.

וכען ארום בקושטא ארום פריק אנא ואף אית פריק אחרן דחזי ליה למפרק יתיר מני:
mny ythyr lmprq lyh dkhzy akhrn pryq ayth wap ana pryq arwm bqwshTa arwm wken
Now it is true that I am a near kinsman. However, there is a kinsman nearer than I.

ביתי בליליא ויהי בצפרא אם יפרקיך גוברא דחזי ליה למפרקיך מן אוריתא הרי טב ויפרוק לחיי ואם לא יצבי למפרקיך ואפרוקניך אנא אמרית בשבועה קדם יי כמא דמלילית ליך כדין אעביד דמוכי עד עדן צפרא:
tspra edn ed dmwky aebyd kdyn lyk dmlylyth kma yy qdm bshbweh amryth ana waprwqnyk lmprqyk ytsby la wam lkhyy wyprwq Tb hry awrytha mn lmprqyk lyh dkhzy gwbra yprqyk am btspra wyhy blylya bythy
Stay this night, and in the morning, if he will perform for you the part of a kinsman, good. Let him do the kinsman’s duty. But if he will not do the duty of a kinsman for you, then I will do the duty of a kinsman for you, as Yahweh lives. Lie down until the morning.”

ודמכית לקביל רגלוי עד צפרא וקמת בקריצתא עד לא אשתמודע גבר ית חבריה מן קדם חשוכא ואמר לעולימוי לא ישתמודע לגבר ארום אתת אתתא לאדרא:
ladra aththa athth arwm lgbr yshthmwde la lewlymwy wamr khshwka qdm mn khbryh yth gbr ashthmwde la ed bqrytstha wqmth tspra ed rglwy lqbyl wdmkyth
She lay at his feet until the morning, then she rose up before one could discern another. For he said, “Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.”

ואמר הבי סודרא דעלך ואחידי ביה ואחידת ביה וכל שית סאין דסעורין ושוי עלהא ואתיהב לה כח מן קדם יי לסוברותהון ומן יד אתאמר בנבואה דעתידין למפק מנה שתא צדיקי עלמא דכל חד וחד עתיד למהוי מתברך בשית ברכן דוד ודניאל וחברוהי ומלכא משיחא ועל בועז לקרתא:
lqrtha bwez wel mshykha wmlka wkhbrwhy wdnyal dwd brkn bshyth mthbrk lmhwy ethyd wkhd khd dkl elma tsdyqy shtha mnh lmpq dethydyn bnbwah athamr yd wmn lswbrwthhwn yy qdm mn kkh lh wathyhb elha wshwy dsewryn sayn shyth wkl byh wakhydth byh wakhydy delk swdra hby wamr
He said, “Bring the mantle that is on you, and hold it.” She held it; and he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her; then he went into the city.

ואתת לות חמותה בקריצתא ואמרת מן את ברתי וחויאת לה ית כל מה דעבד לה גוברא על פום מימר מן קדם יי ברוח נבואה דאתגליאת ליה עבד לה:
lh ebd lyh dathglyath nbwah brwkh yy qdm mn mymr pwm el gwbra lh debd mh kl yth lh wkhwyath brthy ath mn wamrth bqrytstha khmwthh lwth wathth
When she came to her mother-in-law, she said, “How did it go, my daughter?” She told her all that the man had done for her.

ואמרת שית סאין דסעורין האלין יהב לי גוברא ארום אמר לי לא תהכין ריקניא לות חמתיך:
khmthyk lwth ryqnya thhkyn la ly amr arwm gwbra ly yhb halyn dsewryn sayn shyth wamrth
She said, “He gave me these six measures of barley; for he said, ‘Don’t go empty to your mother-in-law.’”

ואמרת תיבי ברתי עמי בביתא עד זמן דתדעין איכדין יתגזר מן שמיא ואיכדין יתפרש פתגם ארום לא ינוח גוברא ארום אלהין ישיצי לטב פתגמא יומא דין:
dyn ywma pthgma lTb yshytsy alhyn arwm gwbra ynwkh la arwm pthgm ythprsh waykdyn shmya mn ythgzr aykdyn dthdeyn zmn ed bbytha emy brthy thyby wamrth
Then she said, “Wait, my daughter, until you know what will happen; for the man will not rest until he has settled this today.”
