ܡܟܝܠ ܠܝܬ ܚܝܒܘܬܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܒܒܣܪ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' byshwe bbsr mhlkyn dl' l'ylyn khybwth' lyth mkyl
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

ܢܡܘܣܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܚܝܐ ܕܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܚܪܪܟ ܡܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܕܚܛܝܬܐ ܘܕܡܘܬܐ
wdmwth' dkhTyth' nmws' mn khrrk mshykh' dbyshwe dkhy' drwkh' gyr nmws'
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܚܝܠ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܒܝܕ ܟܪܝܗܘܬܗ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܫܕܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܒܪܗ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܕܚܛܝܬܐ ܡܛܠܬܗ ܕܚܛܝܬܐ ܕܢܚܝܒܝܗ ܠܚܛܝܬܐ ܒܒܣܪܗ
bbsrh lkhTyth' dnkhybyh dkhTyth' mTlthh dkhTyth' dbsr' bdmwth' lbrh 'lh' shdr dbsr' kryhwthh byd nmws' gyr hw' dmkhyl mTl
For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

ܕܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܒܢ ܬܬܡܠܐ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܒܣܪ ܡܗܠܟܝܢܢ ܐܠܐ ܒܪܘܚ
brwkh 'l' mhlkynn bbsr hw' dl' ththml' bn dnmws' dk'nwth'
that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܒܣܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܒܣܪ ܗܘ ܡܬܪܥܝܢ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܕܪܘܚ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܪܘܚ ܗܘ ܡܬܪܥܝܢ
mthreyn hw drwkh 'nwn ddrwkh w'ylyn mthreyn hw dbsr 'nwn dbbsr gyr 'ylyn
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܡܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܘܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܚܝܐ ܘܫܠܡܐ
wshlm' khy' drwkh' wthreyth' hw mwth' dbsr' gyr threyth'
For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

ܡܛܠ ܕܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܢܡܘܣܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܐ
mshkkh' dl' mTl mshthebd' l' d'lh' gyr lnmws' 'lh' lwth hy beldbbwth' dbsr' dthreyth' mTl
because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.

ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܒܣܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܡܫܦܪ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ
mshkkhyn l' l'lh' lmshpr 'nwn dbbsr w'ylyn
Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.

ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܒܣܪ ܐܠܐ ܒܪܘܚ ܐܢ ܫܪܝܪܐܝܬ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܥܡܪܐ ܒܟܘܢ ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܢܫ ܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܠܗ
dylh hw' l' hn' dmshykh' rwkhh bh lyth 'nsh dyn 'n bkwn emr' d'lh' rwkhh shryr'yth 'n brwkh 'l' bbsr hwythwn l' dyn 'nthwn
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

ܘܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܟܘܢ ܦܓܪܐ ܡܝܬ ܗܘ ܡܛܠ ܚܛܝܬܐ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܝܢ ܚܝܐ ܗܝ ܡܛܠ ܟܐܢܘܬܐ
k'nwth' mTl hy khy' dyn rwkh' khTyth' mTl hw myth pgr' bkwn mshykh' dyn w'n
If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

ܘܐܢ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܗܘ ܡܢ ܕܐܩܝܡ ܠܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܥܡܪܐ ܒܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܡܢ ܕܐܩܝܡܗ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܐܦ ܠܦܓܪܝܟܘܢ ܡܝܬܐ ܢܚܐ ܡܛܠ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܥܡܪܐ ܒܟܘܢ
bkwn demr' rwkhh mTl nkh' myth' lpgrykwn 'p myth' byth mn mshykh' lyshwe d'qymh mn hw bkwn emr' myth' byth mn mshykh' yshwe lmrn d'qym mn dhw rwkhh w'n
But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

ܗܫܐ ܐܚܝ ܚܝܒܝܢܢ ܠܘ ܠܒܣܪܐ ܕܒܒܣܪ ܢܗܠܟ
nhlk dbbsr lbsr' lw khybynn 'khy hsh'
So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܒܒܣܪ ܚܐܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܥܬܝܕܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܗܘ ܠܡܡܬ ܘܐܢ ܒܪܘܚ ܗܘܦܟܝ ܦܓܪܐ ܡܡܝܬܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܚܐܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ
'nthwn kh'yn 'nthwn mmythyn pgr' hwpky brwkh w'n lmmth hw 'nthwn ethydyn 'nthwn kh'yn bbsr gyr 'n
For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܬܕܒܪܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܒܢܝܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' 'nwn bny' hlyn mthdbryn d'lh' dbrwkh' gyr 'ylyn
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܢܣܒܬܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܥܒܕܘܬܐ ܬܘܒ ܠܕܚܠܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܢܣܒܬܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܣܝܡܬ ܒܢܝܐ ܕܒܗ ܩܪܝܢܢ ܐܒܐ ܐܒܘܢ
'bwn 'b' qrynn dbh bny' dsymth rwkh' nsbthwn 'l' ldkhlth' thwb debdwth' rwkh' nsbthwn gyr l'
For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

ܘܗܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܡܣܗܕܐ ܠܪܘܚܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܢ ܒܢܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' bny' d'ythyn lrwkhn mshd' rwkh' why
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

ܘܐܢ ܒܢܝܐ ܐܦ ܝܪܬܐ ܝܪܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܢܝ ܝܪܬܘܬܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܐܢ ܢܚܫ ܥܡܗ ܐܦ ܥܡܗ ܢܫܬܒܚ
nshthbkh emh 'p emh nkhsh d'n mshykh' dyshwe yrthwthh wbny d'lh' yrth' yrth' 'p bny' w'n
and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

ܡܬܪܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܐ ܫܘܝܢ ܚܫܘܗܝ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܥܬܝܕܐ ܕܬܬܓܠܐ ܒܢ
bn dththgl' dethyd' 'yd' lthshbwkhth' hn' dzbn' khshwhy shwyn dl' gyr 'n' mthre'
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

ܟܠܗ ܓܝܪ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܡܣܒܪܐ ܘܡܣܟܝܐ ܠܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܒܢܘܗܝ ܕܐܠܗܐ

For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

ܒܪܝܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܫܬܥܒܕܬ ܠܣܪܝܩܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܒܨܒܝܢܗ ܐܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܡܢ ܕܫܥܒܕܗ ܥܠ ܣܒܪܐ
sbr' el dshebdh mn mTl 'l' btsbynh l' lsryqwth' 'shthebdth gyr bryth'
For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope

ܕܐܦ ܗܝ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܬܬܚܪܪ ܡܢ ܥܒܕܘܬܐ ܕܚܒܠܐ ܒܚܪܘܪܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܒܢܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' dbny' dthshbwkhth' bkhrwr' dkhbl' ebdwth' mn ththkhrr bryth' hy d'p
that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܡܬܬܢܚܢ ܘܡܚܒܠܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ
lywmn' edm' wmkhbln mththnkhn bryth' dklhyn gyr ydeynn
For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.

ܘܠܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܗܢܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܢ ܪܫܝܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܡܬܬܢܚܝܢܢ ܒܢܦܫܢ ܘܡܣܟܝܢܢ ܠܣܝܡܬ ܒܢܝܐ ܘܠܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܕܦܓܪܝܢ
dpgryn wlpwrqn' bny' lsymth wmskynn bnpshn mththnkhynn drwkh' rshyth' bn d'yth khnn 'p 'l' hnyn blkhwd wl'
Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

ܡܛܠ ܕܒܣܒܪܐ ܗܘ ܚܝܝܢ ܣܒܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܬܚܙܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܣܒܪܐ ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܚܙܝܢܢ ܠܗ ܡܢܐ ܡܣܟܝܢܢ ܠܗ
lh mskynn mn' lh khzynn gyr 'n sbr' hw' l' dmthkhz' dyn sbr' khyyn hw dbsbr' mTl
For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܠܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܚܙܐ ܡܣܒܪܝܢܢ ܒܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܡܩܘܝܢܢ
mqwynn bmsybrnwth' msbrynn mthkhz' dl' lmdm dyn 'n
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܗܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܡܥܕܪܐ ܠܟܪܝܗܘܬܢ ܡܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܢܨܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܐ ܕܘܠܐ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܐܠܐ ܗܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܡܨܠܝܐ ܚܠܦܝܢ ܒܬܢܚܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܡܠܠܢ
mthmlln dl' bthnkhth' khlpyn mtsly' rwkh' hy 'l' ydeynn l' dwl' m' 'yk ntsl' gyr mn' lkryhwthn medr' rwkh' hy 'p hkn'
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

ܕܡܐܫ ܕܝܢ ܠܒܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܝܕܥ ܡܢܐ ܗܝ ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܗܘ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܨܠܝܐ ܚܠܦ ܩܕܝܫܐ
qdysh' khlp mtsly' d'lh' hw tsbynh d'yk drwkh' threyth' hy mn' yde hw lbwth' dyn dm'sh
He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܚܒܝܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܒܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܡܥܕܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܛܒܬܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܩܕܡ ܣܡ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܩܪܝܐ
qry' dnhwwn sm dqdm l'ylyn lTbth' lhwn medr mdm bkl l'lh' dmkhbyn d'ylyn dyn ydeynn
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

ܘܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܪܫܡ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܨܘܪܬܐ ܕܒܪܗ ܕܗܘ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܘܟܪܐ ܕܐܚܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ
sgy'' d'kh' bwkr' nhw' dhw dbrh dtswrth' bdmwth' 'nwn wrshm 'nwn yde lwqdm wmn
For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܩܕܡ ܪܫܡ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܪܐ ܘܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܩܪܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܙܕܩ ܘܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܙܕܩ ܠܗܘܢ ܫܒܚ
shbkh lhwn dzdq wl'ylyn zdq lhwn dqr' wl'ylyn qr' lhwn rshm dqdm dyn l'ylyn
Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.

ܡܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܢܐܡܪ ܥܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܠܦܝܢ ܡܢܘ ܕܠܩܘܒܠܢ
dlqwbln mnw khlpyn 'lh' 'n hlyn el n'mr hkyl mn'
What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

ܘܐܢ ܥܠ ܒܪܗ ܠܐ ܚܣ ܐܠܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܢ ܐܫܠܡܗ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܠܐ ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܥܡܗ ܢܬܠ ܠܢ
ln nthl emh mdm kl l' 'ykn' 'shlmh kln khlp 'l' khs l' brh el w'n
He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

ܡܢܘ ܢܩܒܘܠ ܥܠ ܓܒܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܙܕܩ
mzdq 'lh' d'lh' gby' el nqbwl mnw
Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies.

ܡܢܘ ܡܚܝܒ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܝܬ ܘܩܡ ܘܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܥܠ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܥܐ ܚܠܦܝܢ
khlpyn wbe' d'lh' ymyn' el w'ythwhy wqm myth mshykh' mkhyb mnw
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

ܡܢܘ ܢܦܪܫܢܝ ܡܢ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܐܘ ܚܒܘܫܝܐ ܐܘ ܪܕܘܦܝܐ ܐܘ ܟܦܢܐ ܐܘ ܥܪܛܠܝܘܬܐ ܐܘ ܩܢܕܝܢܘܣ ܐܘ ܣܝܦܐ
syp' 'w qndynws 'w erTlywth' 'w kpn' 'w rdwpy' 'w khbwshy' 'w 'wltsn' dmshykh' khwbh mn nprshny mnw
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

ܐܝܟ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܡܛܠܬܟ ܟܠܝܘܡ ܡܝܬܝܢܢ ܘܐܬܚܫܒܢ ܐܝܟ ܐܡܪܐ ܠܢܟܣܬܐ
lnksth' 'mr' 'yk w'thkhshbn mythynn klywm dmTlthk dkthyb 'yk
Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

ܐܠܐ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܙܟܝܝܢܢ ܒܝܕ ܡܢ ܕܐܚܒܢ
d'khbn mn byd zkyynn klhyn bhlyn 'l'
No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

ܡܦܣ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܐ ܡܘܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܚܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܠܐ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܚܝܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܕܩܝܡܢ ܘܠܐ ܕܥܬܝܕܢ
dethydn wl' dqymn wl' khyl' wl' shwlTn' wl' ml'k' wl' khy' wl' mwth' dl' gyr 'n' mps
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

ܘܠܐ ܪܘܡܐ ܘܠܐ ܥܘܡܩܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܬܫܟܚ ܬܦܪܫܢܝ ܡܢ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe dbmrn d'lh' khwbh mn thprshny thshkkh 'khrth' bryth' 'pl' ewmq' wl' rwm' wl'
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
