ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܟ ܡܦܩ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܐܘ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܐܢ ܚܒܪܗ ܒܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܕܕܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܚܒܪܟ ܢܦܫܟ ܗܘ ܡܚܝܒ ܐܢܬ ܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܕܕܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܒܗܝܢ ܗܘ ܡܬܗܦܟ ܐܢܬ

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

ܘܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܕܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܩܘܫܬܐ ܥܠ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܗܠܝܢ ܡܬܗܦܟܝܢ
wydeynn d'ythwhy dynh d'lh' bqwshth' el 'ylyn dbhlyn mthhpkyn
We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

ܡܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܬܚܫܒ ܐܢܬ ܐܘ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܕܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܗܠܝܢ ܡܬܗܦܟܝܢ ܟܕ ܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܒܗܝܢ ܡܬܗܦܟ ܐܢܬ ܕܐܢܬ ܬܥܪܘܩ ܡܢ ܕܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
mn' dyn mthkhshb 'nth 'w brnsh' dd'n 'nth l'ylyn dbhlyn mthhpkyn kd 'p 'nth bhyn mthhpk 'nth d'nth therwq mn dynh d'lh'
Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

ܐܘ ܥܠ ܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܒܣܝܡܘܬܗ ܘܥܠ ܡܓܪܬ ܪܘܚܗ ܘܥܠ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܟ ܡܡܪܚ ܐܢܬ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܕܒܣܝܡܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܬܝܒܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܡܝܬܝܐ ܠܟ
'w el ewthr' dbsymwthh wel mgrth rwkhh wel 'thr' dyhb lk mmrkh 'nth wl' yde 'nth dbsymwthh d'lh' lthybwth' hw mythy' lk
Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

ܐܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܩܫܝܘܬ ܠܒܟ ܕܠܐ ܬܐܒ ܣܐܡ ܐܢܬ ܠܟ ܣܝܡܬܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܐ ܠܝܘܡܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܐ ܘܠܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܕܝܢܐ ܟܐܢܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ
'l' mTl qshywth lbk dl' th'b s'm 'nth lk symth' drwgz' lywm' drwgz' wlglyn' ddyn' k'n' d'lh'
But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

ܗܘ ܕܦܪܥ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܘܗܝ

who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:”

ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܚܒܠܢܘܬܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܝܗܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ
l'ylyn dbmsybrnwth' debd' Tb' thshbwkhth' w'yqr' wl' mthkhblnwth' beyn yhb lhwn khy' dlelm
to those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܥܨܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܝܢ ܠܫܪܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܠܥܘܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܝܢ ܢܦܪܘܥ ܐܢܘܢ ܪܘܓܙܐ ܘܚܡܬܐ
'ylyn dyn detsyn wl' mthTpysyn lshrr' 'l' lewl' mthTpysyn nprwe 'nwn rwgz' wkhmth'
but to those who are self-seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,

ܘܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܘܛܘܪܦܐ ܠܟܠ ܒܪܢܫ ܕܦܠܚ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܠܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܘܠܐܪܡܝܐ

oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܫܠܡܐ ܠܟܠ ܕܦܠܚ ܛܒܬܐ ܠܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܘܠܐܪܡܝܐ
thshbwkhth' dyn w'yqr' wshlm' lkl dplkh Tbth' lyhwdy' lwqdm wl'rmy'
But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܝܬ ܡܣܒ ܒܐܦܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ

For there is no partiality with God.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܕܠܐ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܚܛܘ ܐܦ ܕܠܐ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܐܒܕܘܢ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܢܡܘܣܐ ܚܛܘ ܡܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܬܕܝܢܘܢ
'ylyn gyr ddl' nmws' khTw 'p dl' nmws' n'bdwn w'ylyn dbnmws' khTw mn nmws' nthdynwn
For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܫܡܘܥܘܗܝ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܟܐܢܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܒܘܕܘܗܝ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܡܙܕܕܩܝܢ
l' hw' gyr shmwewhy dnmws' k'nyn qdm 'lh' 'l' ebwdwhy dnmws' mzddqyn
For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܡܡܐ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܝܢܗܘܢ ܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܟܕ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ ܢܡܘܣܐ
'n gyr emm' dnmws' lyth lhwn mn kynhwn nebdwn dnmws' hnwn dkd nmws' lyth hw' lhwn lnpshhwn hww nmws'
(for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,

ܘܗܢܘܢ ܡܚܘܝܢ ܥܒܕܗ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܟܕ ܟܬܝܒ ܥܠ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܘܡܣܗܕܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܬܐܪܬܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܡܚܫܒܬܗܘܢ ܡܟܘܢܢ ܐܘ ܢܦܩܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܠܚܕܕܐ
whnwn mkhwyn ebdh dnmws' kd kthyb el lbhwn wmshd' elyhwn th'rthhwn kd mkhshbthhwn mkwnn 'w npqn rwkh' lkhdd'
in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܕܐܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܟܣܝܬܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܐܝܟ ܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܕܝܠܝ ܒܝܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
bywm' dd'n 'lh' ksyth' dbnynsh' 'yk 'wnglywn dyly byd yshwe mshykh'
in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

ܐܢ ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܡܬܩܪܐ ܐܢܬ ܘܡܬܬܢܝܚ ܐܢܬ ܥܠ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܘܡܫܬܒܗܪ ܐܢܬ ܒܐܠܗܐ
'n 'nth dyn dyhwdy' mthqr' 'nth wmththnykh 'nth el nmws' wmshthbhr 'nth b'lh'
Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, and rest on the law, and glory in God,

ܕܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܘܦܪܫ ܐܢܬ ܘܠܝܬܐ ܕܝܠܝܦ ܐܢܬ ܡܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ
dyde 'nth tsbynh wprsh 'nth wlyth' dylyp 'nth mn nmws'
and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,

ܘܐܬܬܟܠܬ ܥܠ ܢܦܫܟ ܕܡܕܒܪܢܐ ܐܢܬ ܕܥܘܝܪܐ ܘܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܒܚܫܘܟܐ

and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

ܘܪܕܘܝܐ ܕܚܣܝܪܝ ܪܥܝܢܐ ܘܡܠܦܢܐ ܕܛܠܝܐ ܘܐܝܬ ܠܟ ܕܘܡܝܐ ܕܝܕܥܬܐ ܘܕܫܪܪܐ ܒܢܡܘܣܐ
wrdwy' dkhsyry reyn' wmlpn' dTly' w'yth lk dwmy' dydeth' wdshrr' bnmws'
a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.

ܐܢܬ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܡܠܦ ܐܢܬ ܠܐܚܪܢܐ ܠܢܦܫܟ ܠܐ ܡܠܦ ܐܢܬ ܘܕܡܟܪܙ ܐܢܬ ܕܠܐ ܢܓܢܒܘܢ ܐܢܬ ܓܢܒ ܐܢܬ
'nth hkyl dmlp 'nth l'khrn' lnpshk l' mlp 'nth wdmkrz 'nth dl' ngnbwn 'nth gnb 'nth
You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?

ܘܕܐܡܪ ܐܢܬ ܕܠܐ ܢܓܘܪܘܢ ܐܢܬ ܓܐܪ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܢܬ ܕܫܐܛ ܐܢܬ ܦܬܟܪܐ ܡܚܠܨ ܐܢܬ ܒܝܬ ܡܩܕܫܐ
wd'mr 'nth dl' ngwrwn 'nth g'r 'nth w'nth dsh'T 'nth pthkr' mkhlts 'nth byth mqdsh'
You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery. Do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

ܘܐܢܬ ܕܡܫܬܒܗܪ ܐܢܬ ܒܢܡܘܣܐ ܒܗܘ ܕܥܒܪ ܐܢܬ ܥܠ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ ܡܨܥܪ ܐܢܬ

You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

ܫܡܗ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܛܠܬܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܡܬܓܕܦ ܒܝܬ ܥܡܡܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܟܬܝܒ
shmh gyr d'lh' mTlthkwn hw mthgdp byth emm' 'yk dkthyb
For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,”
just as it is written.

ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܗܢܝܐ ܐܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܬܓܡܘܪ ܐܢ ܬܥܒܪ ܠܟ ܕܝܢ ܡܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܓܙܘܪܬܟ ܗܘܬ ܠܗ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ
gzwrth' gyr mhny' 'n nmws' thgmwr 'n thebr lk dyn mn nmws' gzwrthk hwth lh ewrlwth'
For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

ܐܢ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܬܛܪ ܦܘܩܕܢܗ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܐ ܗܐ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܡܬܚܫܒܐ ܠܗ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ
'n hw dyn dewrlwth' thTr pwqdnh dnmws' l' h' ewrlwth' mthkhshb' lh gzwrth'
If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?

ܘܬܕܘܢ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܕܡܢ ܟܝܢܗ ܓܡܪܐ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܟ ܕܒܟܬܒܐ ܘܒܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܥܒܪ ܐܢܬ ܥܠ ܢܡܘܣܐ
wthdwn ewrlwth' dmn kynh gmr' nmws' lk dbkthb' wbgzwrth' ebr 'nth el nmws'
Won’t the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܕܒܓܠܝܐ ܗܘ ܗܘ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܡܬܚܙܝܐ ܒܒܣܪܐ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ
l' hw' gyr mn dbgly' hw hw yhwdy' 'pl' 'yd' dmthkhzy' bbsr' gzwrth'
For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

ܐܠܐ ܗܘ ܗܘ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܒܟܣܝܐ ܗܘ ܘܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܕܠܒܐ ܗܝ ܒܪܘܚ ܘܠܐ ܒܟܬܒܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܢ ܒܢܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܐܠܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'l' hw hw yhwdy' 'yn' dbksy' hw wgzwrth' 'yd' ddlb' hy brwkh wl' bkthb' 'yd' dthshbwkhthh l' hwth mn bny 'nsh' 'l' mn 'lh'
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
