ܚܝܒܝܢܢ ܗܟܝܠ ܚܢܢ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܕܟܘܪܗܢܐ ܕܡܚܝܠܐ ܢܫܩܘܠ ܘܠܐ ܠܢܦܫܢ ܢܫܦܪ
nshpr lnpshn wl' nshqwl dmkhyl' dkwrhn' khylthn' khnn hkyl khybynn
Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

ܐܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܡܢܢ ܠܩܪܝܒܗ ܢܫܦܪ ܒܛܒܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܒܢܝܢܐ
dlbnyn' 'yk bTbth' nshpr lqrybh mnn 'nsh 'l'
Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܢܦܫܗ ܫܦܪ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܚܣܕܐ ܕܡܚܣܕܢܝܟ ܢܦܠ ܥܠܝ
ely npl dmkhsdnyk dkhsd' dkthyb 'yk 'l' shpr lnpshh hw' l' mshykh' d'p mTl
For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܐܬܟܬܒ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܗܘ ܕܝܠܢ ܐܬܟܬܒ ܕܒܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܒܘܝܐܐ ܕܟܬܒܐ ܣܒܪܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܢ
ln nhw' sbr' dkthb' wbbwy'' dbmsybrnwth' 'thkthb dyln hw lywlpn' 'thkthb qdym dmn gyr mdm kl
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

ܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܘܕܒܘܝܐܐ ܢܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܫܘܝܘܬܐ ܬܬܚܫܒܘܢ ܚܕ ܥܠ ܚܕ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' byshwe khd el khd ththkhshbwn dshwywth' lkwn nthl wdbwy'' dmsybrnwth' dyn 'lh'
Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus,

ܕܒܚܕ ܪܥܝܢ ܘܒܚܕ ܦܘܡ ܬܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe dmrn 'bwhy l'lh' thshbkhwn pwm wbkhd reyn dbkhd
that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ܡܛܠ ܗܕܐ ܗܘܘ ܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܘܛܥܢܝܢ ܠܚܕܕܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܩܪܒܟܘܢ ܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' lthshbwkhthh qrbkwn mshykh' d'p 'ykn' lkhdd' wTenyn mqrbyn hww hd' mTl
Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.

ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܫܡܫ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܚܠܦ ܫܪܪܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܢܫܪ ܡܘܠܟܢܐ ܕܐܒܗܬܐ

Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,

ܘܥܡܡܐ ܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܚܠܦ ܪܚܡܐ ܕܗܘܘ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܐܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܒܥܡܡܐ ܘܠܫܡܟ ܐܙܡܪ
'zmr wlshmk bemm' lk d'wd' dkthyb 'yk elyhwn dhww rkhm' khlp l'lh' nshbkhwn wemm'
and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,
“Therefore will I give praise to you among the Gentiles,
and sing to your name.”

ܘܬܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܐܬܒܣܡܘ ܥܡܡܐ ܥܡ ܥܡܗ
emh em emm' 'thbsmw 'mr wthwb
Again he says,
“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”

ܘܬܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܫܒܚܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܟܠܟܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܫܒܚܝܗܝ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܐܡܘܬܐ
'mwth' klhyn shbkhyhy emm' klkwn lmry' shbkhw 'mr wthwb
Again,
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles!
Let all the peoples praise him.”

ܘܬܘܒ ܐܫܥܝܐ ܐܡܪ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܥܩܪܐ ܠܐܝܫܝ ܘܡܢ ܕܢܩܘܡ ܢܗܘܐ ܪܫܐ ܠܥܡܡܐ ܘܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܣܒܪܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ
emm' nsbrwn welwhy lemm' rsh' nhw' dnqwm wmn l'yshy eqr' dnhw' 'mr 'shey' wthwb
Again, Isaiah says,
“There will be the root of Jesse,
he who arises to rule over the Gentiles;
in him the Gentiles will hope.”

ܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܣܒܪܐ ܢܡܠܝܟܘܢ ܟܠܗ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܘܫܠܡܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܬܬܝܬܪܘܢ ܒܣܒܪܗ ܒܚܝܠܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ
dqwdsh' drwkh' bkhyl' bsbrh dththythrwn bhymnwth' wshlm' khdwth' klh nmlykwn dsbr' dyn 'lh'
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

ܡܦܣ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܕܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܠܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܗܘ ܛܒܬܐ ܘܡܫܡܠܝܬܘܢ ܒܟܠܗ ܝܕܥܬܐ ܘܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܐܦ ܠܐܚܪܢܐ ܠܡܪܬܝܘ
lmrthyw l'khrn' 'p 'nthwn wmshkkhyn ydeth' bklh wmshmlythwn Tbth' hw 'nthwn mlyn 'nthwn d'p 'khy elykwn 'n' 'p dyn 'n' mps
I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

ܩܠܝܠ ܕܝܢ ܡܪܚܐܝܬ ܟܬܒܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܥܗܕܟܘܢ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܕܐܬܝܗܒܬ ܠܝ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' mn ly d'thyhbth bTybwth' d'ehdkwn 'ykn' 'khy lkwn kthbth mrkh'yth dyn qlyl
But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,

ܕܐܗܘܐ ܡܫܡܫܢܐ ܠܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܥܡܡܐ ܘܐܦܠܘܚ ܠܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܡܡܐ ܡܩܒܠ ܘܡܩܕܫ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ
dqwdsh' brwkh' wmqdsh mqbl demm' qwrbn' dnhw' d'lh' l'wnglywn w'plwkh bemm' mshykh' lyshwe mshmshn' d'hw'
that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

ܐܝܬ ܠܝ ܗܟܝܠ ܫܘܒܗܪܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lwth mshykh' byshwe shwbhr' hkyl ly 'yth
I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.

ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܡܪܚ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܣܥܪ ܒܐܝܕܝ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܡܫܡܥܐ ܕܥܡܡܐ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܘܒܥܒܕܐ
wbebd' bmlth' demm' lmshme' mshykh' b'ydy ser dl' mdm d'mr 'n' mmrkh gyr l'
For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

ܒܚܝܠܐ ܕܐܬܘܬܐ ܘܕܬܕܡܪܬܐ ܘܒܚܝܠܐ ܕܪܘܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܐܬܟܪܟ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܐܠܘܪܝܩܘܢ ܘܐܡܠܐ ܣܒܪܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ
dmshykh' sbrthh w'ml' l'lwryqwn edm' 'thkrk 'wrshlm dmn 'ykn' d'lh' drwkhh wbkhyl' wdthdmrth' d'thwth' bkhyl'
in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;

ܟܕ ܡܬܚܦܛ ܐܢܐ ܐܣܒܪ ܠܐ ܟܪ ܕܐܬܩܪܝ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܒܢܐ ܥܠ ܫܬܐܣܬܐ ܢܘܟܪܝܬܐ
nwkryth' shth'sth' el 'bn' dl' dmshykh' shmh d'thqry kr l' 'sbr 'n' mthkhpT kd
yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another’s foundation.

ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܚܙܘܢܗ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܫܡܥܘ ܢܬܛܦܝܣܘܢ
nthTpyswn shmew dl' w'ylyn nkhzwnh elwhy lhwn 'th'mr dl' d'ylyn dkthyb 'ykn' 'l'
But, as it is written,
“They will see, to whom no news of him came.
They who haven’t heard will understand.”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܬܟܣܬ ܙܒܢܝܢ ܣܓܝܐܢ ܕܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ
lwthkwn d'th' sgy'n zbnyn 'ththksth hn' mTl
Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,

ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܕܘܟܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܝ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܪܘܬܐ ܘܣܘܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܫܢܝܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ
lwthkwn d'th' sgy'th' shny' qdm mn hwyth wsw' 'thrwth' bhlyn ly lyth ddwk' mTl dyn hsh'
but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,

ܡܐ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܣܦܢܝܐ ܡܣܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܘܐܚܙܝܟܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܠܘܘܢܢܝ ܠܬܡܢ ܡܐ ܕܩܠܝܠ ܡܢ ܣܓܝ ܐܬܒܣܡܬ ܒܚܙܬܟܘܢ
bkhzthkwn 'thbsmth sgy mn dqlyl m' lthmn thlwwnny w'nthwn w'khzykwn d'th' 'n' msbr l'spny' 'n' d'zl m'
whenever I travel to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.

ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܐܫܡܫ ܠܩܕܝܫܐ
lqdysh' d'shmsh l'wrshlm 'n' 'zl dyn hsh'
But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.

ܨܒܘ ܓܝܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܒܡܩܕܘܢܝܐ ܘܒܐܟܐܝܐ ܕܫܘܬܦܘܬܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ ܡܣܟܢܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
b'wrshlm d'yth qdysh' mskn' em lhwn thhw' dshwthpwth' wb'k'y' dbmqdwny' hlyn gyr tsbw
For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem.

ܨܒܘ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܦ ܚܝܒܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܒܕܪܘܚ ܐܫܬܘܬܦܘ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܚܝܒܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܦ ܒܕܒܣܪ ܢܫܡܫܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn nshmshwn bdbsr d'p 'nwn khybyn emm' emhwn 'shthwthpw bdrwkh gyr 'n lhwn khybyn d'p mTl tsbw
Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things.

ܗܕܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܐ ܕܓܡܪܬ ܘܚܬܡܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܕܫܐ ܗܢܐ ܥܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܠܐܣܦܢܝܐ
l'spny' elykwn 'n' ebr hn' 'dsh' lhwn wkhthmth dgmrth m' hkyl hd'
When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by way of you to Spain.

ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܡܬܝ ܕܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܒܡܘܠܝܐ ܗܘ ܕܒܘܪܟܬܐ ܕܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ
'n' 'th' dmshykh' d'wnglywn dbwrkth' hw bmwly' lwthkwn 'n' d'th' d'mthy dyn 'n' yde
I know that, when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Good News of Christ.

ܒܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܒܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܬܥܡܠܘܢ ܥܡܝ ܒܨܠܘܬܐ ܕܚܠܦܝ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lwth dkhlpy btslwth' emy dthemlwn drwkh' wbkhwb' mshykh' yshwe bmrn 'khy mnkwn dyn 'n' be'
Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,

ܕܐܬܦܨܐ ܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܝܢ ܕܒܝܗܘܕ ܘܬܫܡܫܬܐ ܕܡܘܒܠ ܐܢܐ ܠܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܬܬܩܒܠ ܫܦܝܪ
shpyr ththqbl db'wrshlm lqdysh' 'n' dmwbl wthshmshth' dbyhwd mthTpysyn dl' 'ylyn mn d'thpts'
that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints;

ܘܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܒܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܐܬܬܢܝܚ ܥܡܟܘܢ

that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.
