שבחא ושירא די אמר אדם קדמאה על יומא דשבתא:
dshbtha ywma el qdmah adm amr dy wshyra shbkha
It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, to sing praises to your name, Most High,

טב לאודאה קדם יי ולשבחא שמך עלאה:
elah shmk wlshbkha yy qdm lawdah Tb
to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,

לתנאה בצפרא טובך וקושטך בלילון:
blylwn wqwshTk Twbk btspra lthnah
with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the melody of the lyre.

על פום כנרא דעשרתי נימין ועל פום נבלא עלי רננת כנריא:
knrya rnnth ely nbla pwm wel nymyn deshrthy knra pwm el
For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.

ארום אחדיתני יי בעובדך בעובדי אידך אבוע:
abwe aydk bewbdy bewbdk yy akhdythny arwm
How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.

כמה רברבין עובדך יי לחדא עמיקין מחשבתיך:
mkhshbthyk emyqyn lkhda yy ewbdk rbrbyn kmh
A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:

בר נש שטיא לא ידע וכסילא לא יתבין ית דא:
da yth ythbyn la wksyla yde la shTya nsh br
though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

כד מתלבלבין רשיעיא היך עסבא ונצצין כל עבדי שקר ועתיד דישצינון אלהא עד עלמא:
elma ed alha dyshtsynwn wethyd shqr ebdy kl wntstsyn esba hyk rshyeya mthlblbyn kd
But you, Yahweh, are on high forever more.

ואת רמא ועלאה בעלמא הדין יי ואת רמא ועלאה לעלמא דאתי:
dathy lelma welah rma wath yy hdyn belma welah rma wath
For behold, your enemies, Yahweh, for behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.

ארום הא בעלי דבבך יי ארום הא בעלי דבבך יהובדון לעלמא דאתי מתפרשין מן סיעתהון דצדיקיא כל עבדי שקר:
shqr ebdy kl dtsdyqya syethhwn mn mthprshyn dathy lelma yhwbdwn dbbk bely ha arwm yy dbbk bely ha arwm
But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.

וזקפתא היך רימנא תוקפי רביתא יתי במשח רבותא רטיבא דזית עבוף:
ebwp dzyth rTyba rbwtha bmshkh ythy rbytha thwqpy rymna hyk wzqptha
My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.

ואסתכלת עיני באובדנא דמעיקי בקימין עלי לאבאשא שמען אודני קל תבירהון:
thbyrhwn ql awdny shmen labasha ely bqymyn dmeyqy bawbdna eyny wasthklth
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

צדיקא היך דקלא ילבלב פרין היך ארזא בלבנן יסגא ויעביד שרשין:
shrshyn wyebyd ysga blbnn arza hyk pryn ylblb dqla hyk tsdyqa
They are planted in Yahweh’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.
14
בנוי יהוון שתילין בבית מקדשא דיי בדרת בית אלהנא ילבלבון:
ylblbwn alhna byth bdrth dyy mqdsha bbyth shthylyn yhwwn bnwy
They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
15
תוב כאבהתהון יעבדון בנין בשיבו דהנין ורטיבין יהון:
yhwn wrTybyn dhnyn bshybw bnyn yebdwn kabhthhwn thwb
to show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
