ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܐܙܡܪ ܘܠܕܪܕܪܝܢ ܐܘܕܥ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܗ ܒܦܘܡܝ
bpwmy hymnwthh 'wde wldrdryn 'zmr lelm dmry' Tybwthh
I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܡܪ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܢܬܒܢܐ ܘܫܡܝܐ ܬܬܩܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟ
hymnwthk ththqn wshmy' nthbn' bTybwth' delm' d'mr mTl
“I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,

ܩܝܡܐ ܐܩܝܡܬ ܠܓܒܝܝ ܘܝܡܝܬ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܥܒܕܝ
ebdy ldwyd wymyth lgbyy 'qymth qym'
‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah.

ܕܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܐܬܩܢ ܙܪܥܟ ܘܐܒܢܐ ܠܕܪܕܪܝܢ ܟܘܪܣܝܟ
kwrsyk ldrdryn w'bn' zrek 'thqn lelm dedm'
The heavens will praise your wonders, Yahweh, your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

ܢܘܕܘܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܗܝܡܢܘܬܟ ܒܥܕܬܐ ܕܩܕܝܫ̈ܐ
dqdysh' bedth' whymnwthk mry' thdmrthk shmy' nwdwn
For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh,

ܡܢܘ ܕܦܚܡ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܫ̈ܡܝ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܕܕܡܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܒܢ̈ܝ ܡܠܐ̈ܟܐ

a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

ܐܠܗܐ ܩܡ ܒܥܕܬܐ ܕܩܕܝܫ̈ܐ ܪܒ ܘܕܚܝܠ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܚܕܪ̈ܘܗܝ

Yahweh, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.

ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܡܢܘ ܐܟܘܬܟ ܥܫܝܢܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܟ
khdryk hymnwthk eshyn' 'kwthk mnw khylthn' 'lh' mry'
You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.

ܐܢܬ ܫܠܝܛ ܐܢܬ ܒܓܐܝܘܬܗ ܕܝܡܐ ܘܕܠܘܚܝܐ ܕܓܠܠܘ̈ܗܝ ܐܢܬ ܡܫܬܩ
mshthq 'nth dgllwhy wdlwkhy' dym' bg'ywthh 'nth shlyT 'nth
You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

ܐܢܬ ܡܡܟܟ ܐܢܬ ܠܫܒܗܪ̈ܢܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܩ̈ܛܝܠܐ ܒܕܪܥܟ ܥܫܝܢܐ ܒܕܪܬ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟ
lbeldbbyk bdrth eshyn' bdrek dlqTyl' 'yk lshbhrn' 'nth mmkk 'nth
The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours, the world and its fullness. You have founded them.

ܕܝܠܟ ܐܢܘܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܕܝܠܟ ܗܝ ܐܪܥܐ ܬܒܝܠ ܒܡܠܐܗ̇ ܐܢܬ ܬܩܢܬ

You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

ܠܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܠܬܝܡܢܐ ܐܢܬ ܒܪܝܬ ܬܒܘܪ ܘܚܪܡܘܢ ܠܫܡܟ ܗܘ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ
mshbkhyn hw lshmk wkhrmwn thbwr bryth 'nth wlthymn' lgrby'
You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.

ܕܝܠܟ ܗܘ ܕܪܥܐ ܘܕܝܠܟ ܗܝ ܓܢܒܪܘܬܐ ܬܥܫܢ ܐܝܕܟ ܘܬܬܪܝܡ ܝܡܝܢܟ
ymynk wththrym 'ydk theshn gnbrwth' hy wdylk dre' hw dylk
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܒܕܝܢܐ ܡܬܩܢ ܟܘܪܣܝܟ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܒܩܘܫܬܐ ܡܩܕܡܝܢ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ
'pyk mqdmyn wbqwshth' bTybwth' kwrsyk mthqn wbdyn' bzdyqwth'
Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, Yahweh.

ܛܘܒܘܗܝ ܠܥܡܐ ܕܝܕܥ ܬܫܒܚ̈ܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܢܗܠܟܘܢ
nhlkwn d'pyk bnwhr' mry' thshbkhthk dyde lem' Twbwhy
In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.

ܘܒܫܡܟ ܢܕܘܨܘܢ ܟܠܝܘܡ ܘܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܢܬܬܪܝܡܘܢ
nththrymwn wbzdyqwthk klywm ndwtswn wbshmk
For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.

ܡܛܠ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܥܘܫܢܢ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܘܒܨܒܝܢܟ ܬܬܪܝܡ ܩܪܢܢ
qrnn ththrym wbtsbynk hw 'nth dewshnn dthshbwkhth' mTl
For our shield belongs to Yahweh, our king to the Holy One of Israel.

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܢ ܘܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܠܟܢ
mlkn d'ysryl wqdysh' thwklnn hw dmry' mTl
Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

ܗܝܕܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܒܚ̈ܙܘܢܐ ܥܡ ܙܕܝܩ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܕܣܡܬ ܥܘܕܪܢܐ ܠܓܒܪܐ ܘܐܪܝܡܬ ܓܒܝܐ ܡܢ ܥܡܐ
em' mn gby' w'rymth lgbr' ewdrn' dsmth w'mr zdyqwhy em bkhzwn' mll hydyn
I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

ܘܐܫܟܚܬ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܥܒܕܝ ܡܫܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܡܫܚܬܗ
mshkhthh dqwdshy mshkh' ebdy ldwyd w'shkkhth
with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.

ܐܝܕܝ ܥܕܪܬܗ ܐܦ ܕܪܥܝ ܚܝܠܗ
khylh drey 'p edrthh 'ydy
No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.

ܘܠܐ ܐܗܢܝ ܡܕܡ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܗ ܘܒܪܗ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܠܐ ܡܟܟܗ
mkkh l' dewl' wbrh beldbbh mdm 'hny wl'
I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.

ܐܘܒܕ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ ܘܠܣܢܐ̈ܘܗܝ ܐܬܒܪ
'thbr wlsn'why lbeldbbwhy qdmwhy mn 'wbd
But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.

ܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ ܘܛܝܒܘܬܝ ܥܡܗ ܘܒܫܡܝ ܬܬܪܝܡ ܩܪܢܗ
qrnh ththrym wbshmy emh wTybwthy hymnwthy
I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

ܐܣܝܡ ܐܝܕܗ ܒܝܡܐ ܘܒܢܗܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܝܡܝܢܗ
ymynh wbnhrwth' bym' 'ydh 'sym
He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’

ܗܘ ܢܩܪܝܢܝ ܐܒܝ ܐܢܬ ܐܠܗܝ ܘܦܪܘܩܝ ܬܩܝܦܐ
thqyp' wprwqy 'lhy 'nth 'by nqryny hw
I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܒܘܟܪܐ ܐܥܒܕܝܘܗܝ ܘܐܪܝܡܝܘܗܝ ܥܠ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' mlk' el w'rymywhy 'ebdywhy bwkr' 'n' 'p
I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.

ܘܠܥܠܡ ܐܛܪ ܠܗ ܛܝܒܘܬܝ ܘܩܝܡܝ ܢܬܗܝܡܢ ܒܗ
bh nthhymn wqymy Tybwthy lh 'Tr wlelm
I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

ܐܣܝܡ ܠܥܠܡ ܙܪܥܗ ܘܟܘܪܣܝܗ ܐܝܟ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ
dshmy' ywmth' 'yk wkwrsyh zreh lelm 'sym
If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;

ܐܢ ܢܫܒܩܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܢܡܘܣܝ ܘܒ̈ܦܘܩܕܢܝ ܠܐ ܢܗܠܟܘܢ
nhlkwn l' wbpwqdny nmwsy bnwhy nshbqwn 'n
if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;

ܐܦܩܘܕ ܒܫܒܛܐ ܥܘܠܗܘܢ ܘܒܡܚܘܬܐ ܚ̈ܛܗܝܗܘܢ
khThyhwn wbmkhwth' ewlhwn bshbT' 'pqwd
But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.

ܘܛܝܒܘܬܝ ܠܐ ܐܥܒܪ ܡܢܗ ܘܠܐ ܐܕܓܠ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ
bhymnwthy 'dgl wl' mnh 'ebr l' wTybwthy
I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.

ܘܠܐ ܐܣܠܐ ܩܝܡܝ ܘܡܕܡ ܕܢܦܩ ܡܢ ܣ̈ܦܘܬܝ ܠܐ ܐܫܚܠܦ
'shkhlp l' spwthy mn dnpq wmdm qymy 'sl' wl'
Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.

ܚܕܐ ܝܡܝܬ ܒܩܘܕܫܝ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܘܠܐ ܐܟܕܒ
'kdb wl' ldwyd bqwdshy ymyth khd'
His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.
37
ܕܙܪܥܗ ܠܥܠܡ ܢܗܘܐ ܘܟܘܪܣܝܗ ܐܝܟ ܫܡܫܐ ܠܘܩܒܠܝ
lwqbly shmsh' 'yk wkwrsyh nhw' lelm dzreh
It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.

ܘܐܝܟ ܣܗܪܐ ܢܬܩܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܣܗܕܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܡܗܝܡܢ
mhymn bshmy' shd' lelm nthqn shr' w'yk
But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.

ܘܐܢܬ ܛܥܝܬܢܝ ܘܐܣܠܝܬܢܝ ܘܐܗܦܟܬ ܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܡܫܝܚܟ
dmshykhk 'pwhy w'hpkth w'slythny Teythny w'nth
You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.

ܘܐܣܠܝܬ ܩܝܡܗ ܕܥܒܕܟ ܘܐܪܡܝܬ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܟܠܝܠܗ
klylh b're' w'rmyth debdk qymh w'slyth
You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

ܗܓܡܬ ܣܝ̈ܓܘܗܝ ܘܣܚܦܬ ܚܣ̈ܢܘܗܝ
khsnwhy wskhpth sygwhy hgmth
All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.
42
ܘܕܫܘܗܝ ܟܠ ܥܒܪ̈ܝ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܘܗܘܐ ܚܣܕܐ ܠܫܒ̈ܒܘܗܝ
lshbbwhy khsd' whw' 'wrkh' ebry kl wdshwhy
You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.

ܘܐܪܝܡܬ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܕܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ ܘܚܕܝܬ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܣܢܐ̈ܘܗܝ
sn'why lklhwn wkhdyth dbeldbbwhy ymyn' w'rymth
Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle.

ܘܐܗܦܟܬ ܥܘܕܪܢܐ ܕܣܦܣܝܪܗ ܘܠܐ ܣܝܥܬܝܗܝ ܒܩܪܒܐ
bqrb' syethyhy wl' dspsyrh ewdrn' w'hpkth
You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.

ܘܒܛܠܬ ܡܙܟܝ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܟܘܪܣܝܗ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܣܚܦܬ
skhpth l're' wkwrsyh mzkynwhy wbTlth
You have shortened the days of his youth. You have covered him with shame. Selah.

ܘܒܨܪܬ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܛܠܝܘܬܗ ܘܐܥܛܦܬܝܗܝ ܒܗܬܬܐ
bhthth' w'eTpthyhy dTlywthh ywmth' wbtsrth
How long, Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?

ܥܕܡܐ ܠܐܡܬܝ ܪܓܙ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܝܩܕ ܐܝܟ ܢܘܪܐ ܪܘܓܙܟ
rwgzk nwr' 'yk wyqd lelm mry' 'nth rgz l'mthy edm'
Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!

ܐܬܕܟܪܝܢܝ ܡܢ ܚܦܪܐ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܣܪܝܩܐܝܬ ܒܪܝܬ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫ̈ܐ
bnynsh' lklhwn bryth sryq'yth hw' dl' mTwl khpr' mn 'thdkryny
What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

ܡܢܘ ܓܒܪܐ ܕܢܚܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܚܙܐ ܡܘܬܐ ܘܢܦܨܐ ܢܦܫܗ ܡܢ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܫܝܘܠ
dshywl 'yd' mn npshh wnpts' mwth' nkhz' wl' dnkh' gbr' mnw
Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?

ܐܝܟܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܛܝ̈ܒܘܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܡܝ̈ܬܐ ܕܝܡܝܬ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
bhymnwth' ldwyd dymyth qdmyth' mry' Tybwthk 'nyn 'yk'
Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,

ܐܬܕܟܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܣܕܗ ܕܥܒܕܟ ܕܫܩܠܬ ܒܚ̈ܝܝ ܟܠܗ ܪܢܝܗܘܢ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ
demm' rnyhwn klh bkhyy dshqlth debdk khsdh mry' 'thdkr
With which your enemies have mocked, Yahweh, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.

ܚܣܕܘܢܝ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܚܣܕܘ ܥܩ̈ܒܘܗܝ ܕܡܫܝܚܟ

Blessed be Yahweh forever more. Amen, and Amen.
