שיר ושבחא על ידא דאסף:
dasp yda el wshbkha shyr
God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.
2
אלהים לא תשתוק לך לא תתרשל ולא תשדוך אלהא:
alha thshdwk wla ththrshl la lk thshthwq la alhym
For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.

ארום הא בעלי דבבך מתרגשין וסנאך זקיפו רישא:
rysha zqypw wsnak mthrgshyn dbbk bely ha arwm
They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.

על עמך נכילו רזא ומתמלכין על דמתטשין באוצריך:
bawtsryk dmthTshyn el wmthmlkyn rza nkylw emk el
“Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

אמרין אתו ונכנסון מלמהוי עם ולא אדכר שמא דישראל תוב:
thwb dyshral shma adkr wla em mlmhwy wnknswn athw amryn
For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.

ארום אתמלכון בכל לבא עלך כחדא ואמטולתך קימא גזרין:
gzryn qyma wamTwlthk kkhda elk lba bkl athmlkwn arwm
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;

משכני אדומאי וערבאי מואבאי והונגראי:
whwngray mwabay werbay adwmay mshkny
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

גובלאי ועמונאי ועמלקאי פלשתאי עם יתבי צור:
tswr ythby em plshthay wemlqay wemwnay gwblay
Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

לחוד סנחריב מלכא דאתור אתחבר עמהון הוון לסעיד לבני לוט לעלמין:
lelmyn lwT lbny lseyd hwwn emhwn athkhbr dathwr mlka snkhryb lkhwd
Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

עבד להון היך עבדתא למדין ולסיסרא והיך עבדתא ליבין בנחל דקישון:
dqyshwn bnkhl lybyn ebdtha whyk wlsysra lmdyn ebdtha hyk lhwn ebd
who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth.

אשתציו בעינא דדאר הוון היך רעי דרמיס לארעא:
larea drmys rey hyk hwwn ddar beyna ashthtsyw
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

שוי יתהון ורבניהון היך עורב והיך זאב והיך זבח והיך צלמונע כל מלכיהון:
mlkyhwn kl tslmwne whyk zbkh whyk zab whyk ewrb hyk wrbnyhwn ythhwn shwy
who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s pasture lands.”

די אמרו נירת לנא ית כל עידית אלהים:
alhym eydyth kl yth lna nyrth amrw dy
My God, make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.
14
אלהי שוי יתהון היך גלגלא דמתגלגל ואזל ולא ניח במדרון והיך קשא קדם זעפא:
zepa qdm qsha whyk bmdrwn nykh wla wazl dmthglgl glgla hyk ythhwn shwy alhy
As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,

היך אשא דבערא בחורשא והיך שלהוביתא דמצלהבא זרזי טוריא:
Twrya zrzy dmtslhba shlhwbytha whyk bkhwrsha dbera asha hyk
so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.
16
הכנא תרדפנון בעלעולך ובזעפך תבהלנון:
thbhlnwn wbzepk belewlk thrdpnwn hkna
Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.
17
מליא אפיהון קלנא ויבעון שמך יי:
yy shmk wybewn qlna apyhwn mlya
Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
18
יבהתון ויבהלון לעלמי עלמין ויתחסדון ויהובדון:
wyhwbdwn wythkhsdwn elmyn lelmy wybhlwn ybhthwn
that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
