לשבחא על כנרא דאתיא מן גת על ידא דאסף:
dasp yda el gth mn dathya knra el lshbkha
Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!
2
שבחו קדם אלהים עושננא יבבו קדם אלהא דיעקב:
dyeqb alha qdm ybbw ewshnna alhym qdm shbkhw
Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

ארימו קלא בתושבחתא וסדרו תופיא כנרא דקליה בסים עם נבלין:
nblyn em bsym dqlyh knra thwpya wsdrw bthwshbkhtha qla arymw
Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

תקעו בירחא דתשרי שופרא בירחא דמתכסי יומי חגיא דילנא:
dylna khgya ywmy dmthksy byrkha shwpra dthshry byrkha thqew
For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

ארום קים גזר ישראל הוא הלכת דינא לאלהא דיעקב:
dyeqb lalha dyna hlkth hwa yshral gzr qym arwm
He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.

סהדותא על יהוסף שויה דלא קרב לאתת רבוניה ביה ביומא נפק מבית אסירי ושליט בכל ארעא דמצרים ספתא דלא חכימת אליפית שמעית:
shmeyth alypyth khkymth dla sptha dmtsrym area bkl wshlyT asyry mbyth npq bywma byh rbwnyh lathth qrb dla shwyh yhwsp el shdwtha
“I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.

אעדיתי משעבודא כתפיה אידוי מן למרמי טינא לקדרא אסתלקן:
asthlqn lqdra Tyna lmrmy mn aydwy kthpyh mshebwda aedythy
You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah.” Selah.

בעדן עקתא דמצרים קרית ופצית יתך ענית יתך באתר טמיר בית שכנתי דאכלין קדמוי גלגלין די נור בחנתך על מי מצותא לעלמין:
lelmyn mtswtha my el bkhnthk nwr dy glglyn qdmwy daklyn shknthy byth Tmyr bathr ythk enyth ythk wptsyth qryth dmtsrym eqtha bedn
“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!

שמעו עמי ואסהיד בכון ישראל אם תקבל למימרי:
lmymry thqbl am yshral bkwn washyd emy shmew
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.

לא יהי ביניכון פלחי טעותא נוכראה ולא תסגדון לטעות חילוני:
khylwny lTewth thsgdwn wla nwkrah Tewtha plkhy bynykwn yhy la
I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

אנא יי אלהך דאסקית יתכון מארעא דמצרים אפתי פומך בפתגמי אוריתא ואמלי יתה מכל טבתא:
Tbtha mkl ythh wamly awrytha bpthgmy pwmk apthy dmtsrym marea ythkwn dasqyth alhk yy ana
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.

ולא קבילו עמי לקלי וישראל לא צבו למימרי:
lmymry tsbw la wyshral lqly emy qbylw wla
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

ותרכתיה בהרהורי לבהון אזלו במלכת רשיעיהון:
rshyeyhwn bmlkth azlw lbhwn bhrhwry wthrkthyh
Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

הלואי עמי שמע לי ישראל באורחתי יהלכון:
yhlkwn bawrkhthy yshral ly shme emy hlway
I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.

כזער בעלי דבביהון אמאך ועל בעלי דבביהון אתיב מחת גבורתי:
gbwrthy mkhth athyb dbbyhwn bely wel amak dbbyhwn bely kzer
The haters of Yahweh would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
16
סנאי יי יכדבון ליה ויהי תוקפיהון לעלם:
lelm thwqpyhwn wyhy lyh ykdbwn yy snay
But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”
