לשבחא על יתבי סנהדרין די מתעסקין בסהדות אוריתא על ידוי דאסף תושבחתא:
thwshbkhtha dasp ydwy el awrytha bshdwth mthesqyn dy snhdryn ythby el lshbkha
Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

פרנסא דישראל אצית דמדבר היך ענא ארונא דיוסף דשכינתיה שריא ביני כרוביא הופע:
hwpe krwbya byny shrya dshkynthyh dywsp arwna ena hyk dmdbr atsyth dyshral prnsa
Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, stir up your might! Come to save us!

קדם אפרים ובנימין ומנשה עורר ית כח גבורתך עלנא ועלך מן דינא למפרוק לנא:
lna lmprwq dyna mn welk elna gbwrthk kkh yth ewrr wmnshh wbnymyn aprym qdm
Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

אלהא אתיב יתנא מגלותנא ואנהר זיו סבר אפך עלנא ונתפרק:
wnthprq elna apk sbr zyw wanhr mglwthna ythna athyb alha
Yahweh God of Armies, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

יי אלהים צבאות עד אימתי לא קבלתא צלותא דעמך:
demk tslwtha qbltha la aymthy ed tsbawth alhym yy
You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.

אוכלתא להון לחם טמיש בדמעתא ואשקיתן חמר דמעא תלתי:
thlthy dmea khmr washqythn bdmetha Tmysh lkhm lhwn awkltha
You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.

שויתנא למדנא לשיבבנא ובעלי דבבנא יתלעבון להון:
lhwn ythlebwn dbbna wbely lshybbna lmdna shwythna
Turn us again, God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

אלהים צבאות אתיב יתנא מגלותנא ואנהר זיו סבר אפך עלנא ונתפרק:
wnthprq elna apk sbr zyw wanhr mglwthna ythna athyb tsbawth alhym
You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.

בית ישראל דמתילין לגופנא ממצרים אטלתא תרכתא עמיא מארעא דישראל ונצבתנון:
wntsbthnwn dyshral marea emya thrktha aTltha mmtsrym lgwpna dmthylyn yshral byth
You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.

פניתא מן קדמיהון כנענאי ושרשתא שורשיהון ומלאת ארעא:
area wmlath shwrshyhwn wshrshtha knenay qdmyhwn mn pnytha
The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.

חפין טוריא דירושלם טול בית מקדשא ובתי מדרשיא רבנין אמרין אלימין דמתילין לארזין תקיפין:
thqypyn larzyn dmthylyn alymyn amryn rbnyn mdrshya wbthy mqdsha byth Twl dyrwshlm Twrya khpyn
It sent out its branches to the sea, its shoots to the River.

שבשת שבשין עד ימא רבא ולנהר פרת יניקהא:
ynyqha prth wlnhr rba yma ed shbshyn shbshth
Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?

למא תקפתא גודרהא ומכסחין יתה כל עברי אורחא:
awrkha ebry kl ythh wmkskhyn gwdrha thqptha lma
The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.

ינוברנה חזיר דמן חורשא ותרנגול ברא יתפרנס מנה:
mnh ythprns bra wthrngwl khwrsha dmn khzyr ynwbrnh
Turn again, we beg you, God of Armies. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,

אלהים צבאות תוב כדון אסתכל מן שמיא וחמי ואדכר ברחמי גופנא הדא:
hda gwpna brkhmy wadkr wkhmy shmya mn asthkl kdwn thwb tsbawth alhym
the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.

ועוברא די נציבת ימינך ועל מלכא משיחא דחילתא לך:
lk dkhyltha mshykha mlka wel ymynk ntsybth dy wewbra
It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
17
מתוקדא בנורא ומפרכא ממזופיתא דמן קדמך ייבדון:
yybdwn qdmk dmn mmzwpytha wmprka bnwra mthwqda
Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
18
תהי אידך על גבר דקיימתא ליה ביד ימינך על בר נש דחילתא לך:
lk dkhyltha nsh br el ymynk byd lyh dqyymtha gbr el aydk thhy
So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
19
לא נזור מבתר דחלתך תקימננא ובשמך נקרי:
nqry wbshmk thqymnna dkhlthk mbthr nzwr la
Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
