תושבחא על ידוי דאסף על חורבן בית מקדשא אמר ברוח נבואה אלהים אתו עמיא באחסנתך סאיבו ית היכל קדשך שויאו ית ירושלם לצדו:
ltsdw yrwshlm yth shwyaw qdshk hykl yth saybw bakhsnthk emya athw alhym nbwah brwkh amr mqdsha byth khwrbn el dasp ydwy el thwshbkha
God, the nations have come into your inheritance. They have defiled your holy temple. They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

יהבו ית גושמי עבדך למיכלא לעופא דשמיא בסר חסידך לחיות ארעא:
area lkhywth khsydk bsr dshmya lewpa lmykla ebdk gwshmy yth yhbw
They have given the dead bodies of your servants to be food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of your saints to the animals of the earth.

שדון אדמהון היך מיא חזרנות דירושלם ולית דקבר:
dqbr wlyth dyrwshlm khzrnwth mya hyk admhwn shdwn
They have shed their blood like water around Jerusalem. There was no one to bury them.

הוינא קלנא לשכננא תולעבא וגוחכא לחזרנותנא:
lkhzrnwthna wgwkhka thwleba lshknna qlna hwyna
We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and derision to those who are around us.

עד אימתי יי תתקוף לעלמין תבער היך אשא טננותך:
Tnnwthk asha hyk thber lelmyn ththqwp yy aymthy ed
How long, Yahweh? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?

שדי חמתך על פלחי כוכביא דלא חכימו יתך ועל מלכותא דכשדאי די בשמך לא צליאו:
tslyaw la bshmk dy dkshday mlkwtha wel ythk khkymw dla kwkbya plkhy el khmthk shdy
Pour out your wrath on the nations that don’t know you, on the kingdoms that don’t call on your name,

ארום גמרו בית יעקב וית בית מקדשיה אצדיאו:
atsdyaw mqdshyh byth wyth yeqb byth gmrw arwm
for they have devoured Jacob, and destroyed his homeland.

לא תדכר לנא עוין דמן שרויא בסרהוביא יקדמו לך טבותך ארום אתמסכננא לחדא:
lkhda athmsknna arwm Tbwthk lk yqdmw bsrhwbya shrwya dmn ewyn lna thdkr la
Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us. Let your tender mercies speedily meet us, for we are in desperate need.

סעד יתנא אלהא פורקננא מטול איקר שמך ופרוק יתנא וכפר על חובנא בגלל שמך:
shmk bgll khwbna el wkpr ythna wprwq shmk ayqr mTwl pwrqnna alha ythna sed
Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.

למה יימרון עמיא אן אלההון יתגלי בעמיא למחמינא פורענות אדם עבדך דאשתפך:
dashthpk ebdk adm pwrenwth lmkhmyna bemya ythgly alhhwn an emya yymrwn lmh
Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes, that vengeance for your servants’ blood is being poured out.

תעול קדמך אנקתא דאסירי היך סגי תקוף אדרעך שרי בניא דמתמסרין למיתותא:
lmythwtha dmthmsryn bnya shry adrek thqwp sgy hyk dasyry anqtha qdmk thewl
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you. According to the greatness of your power, preserve those who are sentenced to death.

ואתיב לשכננא על חד שבעה גומלא על פורענות קימהון וחסודן די חסדו יתך יי:
yy ythk khsdw dy wkhswdn qymhwn pwrenwth el gwmla shbeh khd el lshknna wathyb
Pay back to our neighbors seven times into their bosom their reproach with which they have reproached you, Lord.
