לשבחא על יד ידותון לאסף תושבחא:
thwshbkha lasp ydwthwn yd el lshbkha
My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.

קלי קדם יי ואקבל קלי קדם אלהא ואצית מימרי:
mymry watsyth alha qdm qly waqbl yy qdm qly
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.

ביום עקתי אולפן מן קדם יי תבעית שרת עלי נבואה בליליא זלגת עיני דמעתא ולא ספוג סריבת לאתנחמא נפשי:
npshy lathnkhma srybth spwg wla dmetha eyny zlgth blylya nbwah ely shrth thbeyth yy qdm mn awlpn eqthy bywm
I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.

אדכר אלהא וארגוש קדם יי אמלל ותשתלהי רוחי לעלמין:
lelmyn rwkhy wthshthlhy amll yy qdm wargwsh alha adkr
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.

אחדתא תימורתא דעיני אטרפית ולא אמלל:
amll wla aTrpyth deyny thymwrtha akhdtha
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

מניתי יומין טבין דמן לקדמין שניא טביא דמן עלמין:
elmyn dmn Tbya shnya lqdmyn dmn Tbyn ywmyn mnythy
I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:

אדכר תושבחתי בליליא עם הרהורי לבבי אמלל ויבלש נסיא מנדע דרוחי:
drwkhy mnde nsya wyblsh amll lbby hrhwry em blylya thwshbkhthy adkr
“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?

האפשר די לעלמין ירחק יי ולא יוסיף לאתרעיא תוב:
thwb lathreya ywsyp wla yy yrkhq lelmyn dy hapshr
Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?

האפשר די פסק לעלמין טוביה שלים פתגם דביש על כל דר ודר:
wdr dr kl el dbysh pthgm shlym Twbyh lelmyn psq dy hapshr
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.

האפשר דאתנשי לחיסא אלהא אין סליק ברוגזי מן למכמר רחמוי לעלמין:
lelmyn rkhmwy lmkmr mn brwgzy slyq ayn alha lkhysa dathnshy hapshr
Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

ואמרית מרעותי הוא אשתניו גבורת ימין עלאה :
elah ymyn gbwrth ashthnyw hwa mrewthy wamryth
I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.

אדכר עובדי אלהא ארום אדכר מן לקדמין פרשותך:
prshwthk lqdmyn mn adkr arwm alha ewbdy adkr
I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.

ורננית בכל עובדך טביא ובתסקופי נסך אמלל:
amll nsk wbthsqwpy Tbya ewbdk bkl wrnnyth
Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?

אלהא דקדישין אורחתך מן אלהא רבא כאלהא דישראל:
dyshral kalha rba alha mn awrkhthk dqdyshyn alha
You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.

אנת הוא אלהא עביד פרישן הודעת בעמיא עושנך:
ewshnk bemya hwdeth pryshn ebyd alha hwa anth
You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

פרקתא בגבורת אדרעך עמך בניא דאוליד יעקב וזן יוסף לעלמין:
lelmyn ywsp wzn yeqb dawlyd bnya emk adrek bgbwrth prqtha
The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.

חמון שכנתך בגו ימא אלהא חמון גבורתך על ימא רתתון עמיא לחוד אתרגזון תהומיא:
thhwmya athrgzwn lkhwd emya rththwn yma el gbwrthk khmwn alha yma bgw shknthk khmwn
The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

אחיתו מיא ענני שמיא קלין יהבו שחקי לחוד כפי גררך אזלין ומשתלהבין:
wmshthlhbyn azlyn grrk kpy lkhwd shkhqy yhbw qlyn shmya enny mya akhythw
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.

קל אכליותך בגלגלא אשתמע אנהירו ברקין תבל רגזת ואתרגיפת ארעא:
area wathrgypth rgzth thbl brqyn anhyrw ashthme bglgla aklywthk ql
Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
20
בימא דסוף אורחך וכבשך במין סגיעין ורושמת פסיעתך לא אתידעו:
athydew la psyethk wrwshmth sgyeyn bmyn wkbshk awrkhk dswp byma
You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
