שכלא טבא על ידוי דאסף למה אלהא רחקתא לעלמין יתקף רוגזך בעאן רעיתך:
reythk bean rwgzk ythqp lelmyn rkhqtha alha lmh dasp ydwy el Tba shkla
God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?

אדכר כנשתך דקניתא מלקדמין פרקת ממצרים שבטי אחסנתך טור דציון דנן די שריתא שכנתך ביה:
byh shknthk shrytha dy dnn dtsywn Twr akhsnthk shbTy mmtsrym prqth mlqdmyn dqnytha knshthk adkr
Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.

ארים אסתורך למשוק אומיא לעלמין דבכל חיליה אבאיש בעל דבבא בקודשא:
bqwdsha dbba bel abaysh khylyh dbkl lelmyn awmya lmshwq asthwrk arym
Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.

אכלין מעיקך במצע זמניך שוון אתותהון אתיא:
athya athwthhwn shwwn zmnyk bmtse meyqk aklyn
Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.

יצלף בקורנסא היך גבר דמרים ידי בסביך קיסיא למקטע בכולביא:
bkwlbya lmqTe qysya bsbyk ydy dmrym gbr hyk bqwrnsa ytslp
They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.

וכדין גליפיהא גררין כחדא בקופיץ ובמפסלת דיוסטר מחין במרזופין:
bmrzwpyn mkhyn dywsTr wbmpslth bqwpyts kkhda grryn glypyha wkdyn
Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.

אדליקו בנורא בית מקדשא לארעא אפיסו משכן דאתקרי ביה שמך:
shmk byh dathqry mshkn apysw larea mqdsha byth bnwra adlyqw
They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.

אמרו בלבהון בניהון כחדא אוקידו אבהתהון כל מערעיא אלהא בארעא:
barea alha mereya kl abhthhwn awqydw kkhda bnyhwn blbhwn amrw
They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.

אתונא דיהבו לנא נבייא לא חמינא לית תוב נביא ולית עמנא דידע עד אימתי:
aymthy ed dyde emna wlyth nbya thwb lyth khmyna la nbyya lna dyhbw athwna
We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.

עד אימתי אלהא יחסד מעיקא ירחיק בעיל דבבא שמך לעלמא:
lelma shmk dbba beyl yrkhyq meyqa ykhsd alha aymthy ed
How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?

למא תתיב ידך וימינך למפרוק מן גו עטפך אפיק ושיצי עקתא:
eqtha wshytsy apyq eTpk gw mn lmprwq wymynk ydk ththyb lma
Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!

ואלהא מלכא דשכינת קודשיה מלקדמין עביד פורקנא בגו ארעא:
area bgw pwrqna ebyd mlqdmyn qwdshyh dshkynth mlka walha
Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.

אנת גזרתא בעושנך מוי דימא אנת תברתא רישי תניניא ושנקת מצראי על ימא:
yma el mtsray wshnqth thnynya ryshy thbrtha anth dyma mwy bewshnk gzrtha anth
You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.

אנת תרעתא רישי גברי פרעה יהבתנון לגמרא לעם בית ישראל וגושמיהון לירודי:
lyrwdy wgwshmyhwn yshral byth lem lgmra yhbthnwn preh gbry ryshy thretha anth
You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.

אנת בזעתא מעינא מן כיפא והוי לנחלא אנת יבשתא מגיזת נחלי ארנונא ומגיזת יובקא ויורדנא דהון תקיפין:
thqypyn dhwn wywrdna ywbqa wmgyzth arnwna nkhly mgyzth ybshtha anth lnkhla whwy kypa mn meyna bzetha anth
You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.

די לך יממא לחוד די לך ליליא אנת אתקנתא סיהרא ושמשא:
wshmsha syhra athqntha anth lylya lk dy lkhwd ymma lk dy
The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
17
אנת אקמתא כל תחומא דארעא קיטא וסתוא אנת בראתנון:
brathnwn anth wsthwa qyTa darea thkhwma kl aqmtha anth
You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.

אדכר דא בעיל דבבא מגדף יי ועמא טפשא דרחיקו שמך:
shmk drkhyqw Tpsha wema yy mgdp dbba beyl da adkr
Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, Yahweh. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.

לא תמסור לפלחי מזריא דמתילין לחיות ברא נפשת מאלפי אוריתך חייהון דעניך לא תתנשי לעלמין:
lelmyn ththnshy la denyk khyyhwn awrythk malpy npshth bra lkhywth dmthylyn mzrya lplkhy thmswr la
Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.

אסתכל לקימא דגזרתא לאבהתן ארום אתמליאו בניהון חשוכא פריס על ארעא ואוניאותא וחטופין:
wkhTwpyn wawnyawtha area el prys khshwka bnyhwn athmlyaw arwm labhthn dgzrtha lqyma asthkl
Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.

לא יתוב מסכן מכסיף עניא וחשוכא ישבחון שמך:
shmk yshbkhwn wkhshwka enya mksyp mskn ythwb la
Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.

קום אלהא נצי מצותך אדכר קלנא דעמך מן מלכא טפשא כל יומא:
ywma kl Tpsha mlka mn demk qlna adkr mtswthk ntsy alha qwm
Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
