ܒܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܣܒܪܬ ܠܐ ܐܒܗܬ ܠܥܠܡ

In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.

ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܦܨܢܝ ܨܠܝ ܠܝ ܐܕܢܟ ܘܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ
wprwqyny 'dnk ly tsly ptsny bzdyqwthk
Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me.

ܗܘܝ ܠܝ ܒܝܬ ܡܥܡܪܐ ܕܐܥܘܠ ܠܗ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܘܦܩܘܕ ܠܡܦܪܩܢܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܒܝܬ ܓܘܣܝ ܘܒܝܬ ܡܪܕܝ
mrdy wbyth gwsy byth hw d'nth mTl lmprqny wpqwd bklzbn lh d'ewl memr' byth ly hwy
Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

ܐܠܗܐ ܦܨܢܝ ܡܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܪܫܝܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܒܝܫܐ

Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܣܒܪܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܝ
Tlywthy dmn thwklny 'lh' mry' sbry hw d'nth mTl
For you are my hope, Lord Yahweh, my confidence from my youth.

ܕܥܠܝܟ ܐܣܬܡܟܬ ܡܢ ܡܪܒܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܥ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܠܟ ܫܒܚܬ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ
bklzbn shbkhth lk thwklny hw 'nth d'my meyh wmn mrbe' mn 'sthmkth delyk
I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.

ܘܕܘܡܪܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܥܫܝܢܐ

I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.

ܢܬܡܠܐ ܦܘܡܝ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܟ ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܪܒܘܬܟ

My mouth shall be filled with your praise, with your honor all day long.

ܠܐ ܬܫܕܝܢܝ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܣܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܡܐ ܕܓܡܪ ܚܝܠܝ ܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܢܝ

Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܡܪܘ ܥܠܝ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܢܛܪܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܐܬܡܠܟܘ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ
khd' 'yk 'thmlkw lnpshy dnTryn w'ylyn beldbby ely d'mrw mTl
For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,

ܘܐܡܪܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܫܒܩܗ ܪܘܕܦܘܗܝ ܘܐܘܚܕܘܗܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܡܦܨܝܢܐ

saying, “God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.”

ܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܬܪܚܩ ܡܢܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܥܘܕܪܢܝ ܟܬܪ
kthr lewdrny 'lh' mny thrkhq l' 'lh'
God, don’t be far from me. My God, hurry to help me.

ܢܒܗܬܘܢ ܘܢܚܦܪܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܣܩܪܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܢܬܥܛܦܘܢ ܒܗܬܬܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܠܒܝܫܬܝ
lbyshthy dtsbyn 'ylyn bhthth' ntheTpwn lnpshy dsqryn 'ylyn wnkhprwn nbhthwn
Let my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.

ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܐܨܠܐ ܘܐܘܣܦ ܥܠ ܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܟ

But I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise.

ܦܘܡܝ ܢܣܒܪ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܒܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܟ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥܬ ܣܦܪܘܬܐ
sprwth' ydeth dl' mTl bthshbkhthk ywm' wklh zdyqwthk nsbr pwmy
My mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don’t know its full measure.

ܐܥܘܠ ܒܓܢܒܪܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܥܗܕ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܒܠܚܘܕܝ
blkhwdy zdyqwthk w'ehd dmry' bgnbrwthh 'ewl
I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord Yahweh. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone.

ܐܠܗܐ ܝܘܠܦܢܝ ܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܝ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܫܐ ܕܐܚܘܐ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܟ

God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

ܥܕܡܐ ܠܣܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܠܩܫܝܫܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܢܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܚܘܐ ܕܪܥܟ ܘܓܢܒܪܘܬܟ ܠܕܪܐ ܕܐܬܐ
d'th' ldr' wgnbrwthk drek d'khw' edm' thshbqny l' wlqshyshwth' lsybwth' edm'
Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.

ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܐܠܗܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܪܘܡܐ ܘܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܢܘ ܐܟܘܬܟ
'kwthk mnw 'lh' debdth wrwrbth' lmrwm' edm' 'lh' wzdyqwthk
God, your righteousness also reaches to the heavens. You have done great things. God, who is like you?

ܕܚܘܝܬܢܝ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܘܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܗܦܟܬ ܘܐܚܝܬܢܝ ܘܐܦ ܡܢ ܬܗ̈ܘܡܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܬܗܦܟ ܬܣܩܢܝ

You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܐܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܒܟܢܪܐ ܘܠܩܘܫܬܟ ܐܙܡܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܙܡܪ ܠܟ ܒܟܢܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
d'ysryl qdysh' bknr' lk 'zmr 'lh' 'zmr wlqwshthk bknr' lk 'wd' 'n' 'p
I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

ܘܢܫܒ̈ܚܢ ܣ̈ܦܘܬܝ ܟܕ ܐܙܡܪ ܠܟ ܘܢܦܫܝ ܕܦܪܩܬ

My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!
