לשבחא תושבחתא לדוד:
ldwd thwshbkhtha lshbkha
Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

שמע אלהא קלי בעדן צלותי מדלוחא דבעל דבבי תנטור חיי:
khyy thnTwr dbby dbel mdlwkha tslwthy bedn qly alha shme
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;

תטמרנני מרזהון דמבאשין מאתרגושת עבדי שקר:
shqr ebdy mathrgwshth dmbashyn mrzhwn thTmrnny
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,

די שנינו היך סיפא לישנהון נגדו קשתהון משחו גרריהון סמא דקטול ומריר:
wmryr dqTwl sma grryhwn mshkhw qshthhwn ngdw lyshnhwn sypa hyk shnynw dy
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.

לגראה בטומריא דלא מום בתכף יגרון ליה ולא ידחלון:
ydkhlwn wla lyh ygrwn bthkp mwm dla bTwmrya lgrah
They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”

יתקפון להון פתגם ביש ישתעון למכמן תקלין אמרין מן חמי להון:
lhwn khmy mn amryn thqlyn lmkmn yshthewn bysh pthgm lhwn ythqpwn
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.

יבלשון למשכח עילין לשיצאה זכאין בלושא דמתבלש בגוף בר נשא והרהורי לבא עמיקא:
emyqa lba whrhwry nsha br bgwp dmthblsh blwsha zkayn lshytsah eylyn lmshkkh yblshwn
But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.

ויגרי עלויהון אלהא גררא בתכף ויתנון על מחתיהון:
mkhthyhwn el wythnwn bthkp grra alha elwyhwn wygry
Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
9
ויתקלון להון לישנהון יטלטלון כל דחמי בהון:
bhwn dkhmy kl yTlTlwn lyshnhwn lhwn wythqlwn
All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
10
וידחלון כל בני נשא ויחוון עובדא דיי אלהים ועובדיה יהוון מתבינין:
mthbynyn yhwwn wewbdyh alhym dyy ewbda wykhwwn nsha bny kl wydkhlwn
The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!
