ܫܡܥ ܐܠܗܐ ܩܠܝ ܟܕ ܐܬܟܫܦ ܠܟ ܘܡܢ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܕܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ ܢܛܪܝܢܝ
nTryny dbeldbby dkhlth' wmn lk 'thkshp kd qly 'lh' shme
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;

ܣܬܪܝܢܝ ܡܢ ܥܘܠܗ ܕܒܝܫܐ ܘܡܢ ܗܘܦܟܐ ܕܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܥܘܠܐ
ewl' debdy hwpk' wmn dbysh' ewlh mn sthryny
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,

ܕܠܛܫܘ ܠܫܢܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܣܝܦܐ ܘܡܠܬܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܓܐܪܐ
g'r' 'yk wmlthhwn syp' 'yk lshnhwn dlTshw
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.

ܠܡܫܕܐ ܒܛܘܫܝܐ ܒܬܡܝܡܐ ܡܢ ܫܠܝܐ ܢܫܕܘܢ ܒܗ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܚܙܘܢ
nthkhzwn wl' bh nshdwn shly' mn bthmym' bTwshy' lmshd'
They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”

ܘܐܥܫܢܘ ܡܠܬܗܘܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܐܬܚܫܒܘ ܠܡܛܡܪ ܦܚ̈ܐ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܕܡܢܘ ܚܙܐ ܠܢ
ln khz' dmnw w'mrw pkh' lmTmr w'thkhshbw byshth' mlthhwn w'eshnw
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.

ܐܬܚܫܒܘ ܥܘ̈ܠܐ ܘܣܦܘ ܠܡܒܨܐ ܥܘܠܐ ܡܢ ܓܘܗ ܕܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܘܡܢ ܠܒܗ ܥܡܝܩܐ
emyq' lbh wmn 'nsh' dbr gwh mn ewl' lmbts' wspw ewl' 'thkhshbw
But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.

ܢܬܬܪܝܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܢܫܕܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܓܐܪܐ ܡܢ ܫܠܝܐ
shly' mn g'r' bhwn wnshd' 'lh' nththrym
Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.

ܘܢܬܟܪܗܘܢ ܠܫܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܘܢܕܚܠܘܢ ܟܠ ܕܚܙܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ
lhwn dkhzyn kl wndkhlwn lshnyhwn wnthkrhwn
All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

ܘܢܕܚܠܘܢ ܟܠ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܘܢܚܘܘܢ ܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܥܒܕ ܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܢܚܘܪܘܢ
nkhwrwn 'ydwhy wbebd d'lh' ebdwhy wnkhwwn 'nsh' bny kl wndkhlwn
The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!
