תושבחתא לדוד בעדן מהוי במדברא די בתחום שבט יהודה:
yhwdh shbT bthkhwm dy bmdbra mhwy bedn ldwd thwshbkhtha
God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

אלהא תוקפי אנת אקום בצפרא קדמך צחית לך נפשי רגיג לך בסרי בארעא צדיא ומשלהי מדלית מוי:
mwy mdlyth wmshlhy tsdya barea bsry lk rgyg npshy lk tskhyth qdmk btspra aqwm anth thwqpy alha
So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

היכנא באתר קודשא חמיתך זכי יתי למחמי עושנך ויקרך:
wyqrk ewshnk lmkhmy ythy zky khmythk qwdsha bathr hykna
Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

ארום טב הוא חסדך דתעבד לצדיקיא לעלמא דאתי מן חיי דיהבתא לרשיעיא בעלמא הדין בגין כן ספותי ישבחונך:
yshbkhwnk spwthy kn bgyn hdyn belma lrshyeya dyhbtha khyy mn dathy lelma ltsdyqya dthebd khsdk hwa Tb arwm
So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.

היכנא אברכנך בחיי בעלמא הדין בשום מימרך אפרוס ידי בצלו לעלמא דאתי:
dathy lelma btslw ydy aprws mymrk bshwm hdyn belma bkhyy abrknk hykna
My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,

היך תרב ודהן תסבע נפשי וספון דתושבחן ישבח פומי:
pwmy yshbkh dthwshbkhn wspwn npshy thsbe wdhn thrb hyk
when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches.

אין אדכרתיך על דרגשי במטרת ארנן במימרך:
bmymrk arnn bmTrth drgshy el adkrthyk ayn
For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

ארום הויתא סעיד לי ובטלל שכנתך אבוע:
abwe shknthk wbTll ly seyd hwytha arwm
My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.

אדבקת נפשי בתר אורייתך בי סעדת ימינך:
ymynk sedth by awryythk bthr npshy adbqth
But those who seek my soul to destroy it shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

והנון לקבורתא יתבעון נפשי יעלון בארעית ארעא:
area bareyth yelwn npshy ythbewn lqbwrtha whnwn
They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food.

ידחלוניה מטול מחת סיפא מוהבית תעליא יהוון:
yhwwn thelya mwhbyth sypa mkhth mTwl ydkhlwnyh
But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will praise him, for the mouth of those who speak lies shall be silenced.
