ܐܡܪ ܥܘܠܐ ܒܠܒܗ ܕܠܝܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܬܚܒܠܘ ܘܐܬܛܢܦܘ ܒܥܘܠܗܘܢ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܥܒܕ ܛܒܬܐ
Tbth' debd wlyth bewlhwn w'thTnpw 'thkhblw 'lh' dlyth blbh ewl' 'mr
God looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understood, who seek after God.

ܐܠܗܐ ܐܕܝܩ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܥܠ ܒܢܝܢܫ̈ܐ ܕܢܚܙܐ ܐܢ ܐܝܬ ܕܣܟܘܠܬܢ ܘܒܥܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ
l'lh' wbe' dskwlthn 'yth 'n dnkhz' bnynsh' el shmy' mn 'dyq 'lh'
Every one of them has gone back. They have become filthy together. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

ܟܠܗܘܢ ܣܛܘ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܐܬܛܢܦܘ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܥܒܕ ܛܒܬܐ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܚܕ
khd l' 'p Tbth' debd wlyth w'thTnpw 'kkhd' sTw klhwn
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on God?

ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܘ ܟܠ ܥܒ̈ܕܝ ܥܘܠܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܟܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܥܡܝ ܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܕܠܚܡܐ ܘܠܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܩܪܘ
qrw l' wl'lh' dlkhm' m'kwlth' lemy hww d'klyn 'ylyn ewl' ebdy kl ydew wl'
There they were in great fear, where no fear was, for God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you. You have put them to shame, because God has rejected them.

ܬܡܢ ܕܚܠܘ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܐܬܪ ܕܠܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܢܒܕܪ ܓܪ̈ܡܝܗܘܢ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܫܦܪܝܢ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܒܗܬܘ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܣܠܝ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn 'sly d'lh' mTl bhthw 'nsh' lbny dshpryn d'ylyn grmyhwn nbdr d'lh' mTl dkhlth' hw' dlyth 'thr dkhlth' dkhlw thmn
Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back his people from captivity, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
