לשבחא תשבחתא לדוד:
ldwd thshbkhtha lshbkha
Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
2
כד אתא לותיה נתן נביא כד שמש עם בת שבע:
shbe bth em shmsh kd nbya nthn lwthyh atha kd
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.

חוס עלי יי היך טיבותך היך סגיאות רחמך שבוק מרודי:
mrwdy shbwq rkhmk sgyawth hyk Tybwthk hyk yy ely khws
For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me.

סוגעא תחורנני מן עויתי ומן חובי תדכי יתי:
ythy thdky khwby wmn ewythy mn thkhwrnny swgea
Against you, and you only, I have sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, so you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.

ארום מרודי קדמי גלין וחובי לקבלי תדירא:
thdyra lqbly wkhwby glyn qdmy mrwdy arwm
Behold, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.

קדמך בלחודך חבית ודביש קדמך עבדית מן בגלל דתזכי יתי במללותך תברור יתי כד תדין:
thdyn kd ythy thbrwr bmllwthk ythy dthzky bgll mn ebdyth qdmk wdbysh khbyth blkhwdk qdmk
Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

הא בעויא אתילידית ובחובא עברת מני אמי:
amy mny ebrth wbkhwba athylydyth bewya ha
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

הא קושטא רעיתא בכולין ובטמור לבא חוכמתא תהודענני:
thhwdenny khwkmtha lba wbTmwr bkwlyn reytha qwshTa ha
Let me hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.

תדי עלי היך כהנא דמדי באזובא על מסאבא מוי אדיותא מן קטם תורתא ואדכי תסחנני ומן תלגא אתחור:
athkhwr thlga wmn thskhnny wadky thwrtha qTm mn adywtha mwy msaba el bazwba dmdy khna hyk ely thdy
Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all of my iniquities.

תבשרנני חדוא ואדיצותא תביען תושבחתא איבריא רשפיתא:
rshpytha aybrya thwshbkhtha thbyen wadytswtha khdwa thbshrnny
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

סליק אפך מן חובי וכל עויתי מחי:
mkhy ewythy wkl khwby mn apk slyq
Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.

לב בריר ברי לי אלהא ורוח מכון בדחלתך חדית בגוי:
bgwy khdyth bdkhlthk mkwn wrwkh alha ly bry bryr lb
Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.

לא תטלוק יתי מן קדמך ורוח נבואת קודשך לא תסלק מני:
mny thslq la qwdshk nbwath wrwkh qdmk mn ythy thTlwq la
Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.

אתיב לי אוריתך למדוץ בפורקנך ורוח נבואה תסמכנני:
thsmknny nbwah wrwkh bpwrqnk lmdwts awrythk ly athyb
Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

אאלף למרודיא ארחתך וחיביא קדמך יתובון:
ythwbwn qdmk wkhybya arkhthk lmrwdya aalp
Lord, open my lips. My mouth will declare your praise.

פצי יתי מדין קטול יי אלהי פורקני תביע לישני צדקתך:
tsdqthk lyshny thbye pwrqny alhy yy qTwl mdyn ythy ptsy
For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.
17
יי ספותי פתח באוריתא ופומי יתני תושבחתך:
thwshbkhthk ythny wpwmy bawrytha pthkh spwthy yy
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.
18
ארום לא תצבי נכסת קודשא ואתן עלתא לא תתרעי:
ththrey la eltha wathn qwdsha nksth thtsby la arwm
Do well in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19
נכסת קודשא דאלהא נפשא מתברא לב תביר ושפי אלהא לא תבסור:
thbswr la alha wshpy thbyr lb mthbra npsha dalha qwdsha nksth
Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer bulls on your altar.
