ܐܠܗܐ ܫܡܥܢܢ ܒܐ̈ܕܢܝܢ ܐܦ ܐ̈ܒܗܝܢ ܐܫܬܥܝܘ ܠܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܒܝ̈ܘܡܝܗܘܢ ܒܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܐ
qdmy' bywmth' bywmyhwn debdth mdm ln 'shtheyw 'bhyn 'p b'dnyn shmenn 'lh'
You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.

ܐܝܕܟ ܐܘܒܕܬ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܢܨܒܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܒܐܫܬ ܠܡ̈ܠܟܘܬܐ ܘܫܪܪܬ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn wshrrth lmlkwth' w'b'shth 'nwn wntsbth lemm' 'wbdth 'ydk
For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܚܪܒܗܘܢ ܝܪܬܘ ܐܪܥܐ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܕܪܥܗܘܢ ܦܪܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܝܡܝܢܟ ܘܕܪܥܟ ܘܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܕܨܒܝܬ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn dtsbyth d'pyk wnwhr' wdrek ymynk 'l' 'nwn prq drehwn l' 'p 're' yrthw bkhrbhwn hw' dl' mTl
God, you are my King. Command victories for Jacob!

ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܠܟܝ ܕܦܩܕܬ ܥܠ ܦܘܪܩܢܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ
dyeqwb pwrqnh el dpqdth mlky 'lh' hw 'nth
Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.

ܒܟ ܢܕܩܪ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܢ ܘܡܛܠ ܫܡܟ ܢܕܘܫ ܠܣܢܐ̈ܝܢ
lsn'yn ndwsh shmk wmTl lbeldbbyn ndqr bk
For I will not trust in my bow, neither will my sword save me.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܥܠ ܩܫ̈ܬܬܢ ܬܟܝܠܝܢܢ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܥܠ ܙܝܢܢ ܕܢܦܪܩܢ
dnprqn zynn el l' 'p thkylynn qshththn el hw' dl' mTl
But you have saved us from our adversaries, and have shamed those who hate us.

ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܦܪܩܬܢ ܡܢ ܣܢܐ̈ܝܢ ܘܐܒܗܬܬ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܢ
lbeldbbyn w'bhthth sn'yn mn prqthn hw 'nth
In God we have made our boast all day long. We will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.

ܫܒܚܢܟ ܐܠܗܐ ܟܘܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܘܠܫܡܟ ܠܥܠܡ ܢܘܕܐ
nwd' lelm wlshmk ywm' kwlh 'lh' shbkhnk
But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.

ܗܫܐ ܛܥܝܬܢ ܘܐܒܗܬܬܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܦܩ ܐܢܬ ܒܚܝܠܢ
bkhyln 'nth npq wl' w'bhththn Teythn hsh'
You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.

ܐܠܐ ܐܗܦܟܬܢ ܠܒܣܬܪܢ ܘܒܙܘܢ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܢ
beldbbyn wbzwn lbsthrn 'hpkthn 'l'
You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.

ܝܗܒܬܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܠܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܘܒܕܪܬܢ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ
emm' byth wbdrthn lm'kwlth' en' 'yk yhbthn
You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.

ܙܒܢܬ ܠܥܡܟ ܕܠܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܣܓܝܬ ܚܘܠܦܗܘܢ
khwlphwn 'sgyth wl' dmy' dl' lemk zbnth
You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.

ܥܒܕܬܢ ܚܣܕܐ ܠܫܒ̈ܒܝܢ ܡܘܝܩܐ ܘܒܘܙܚܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܕܪܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn dkhdryn l'ylyn wbwzkh' mwyq' lshbbyn khsd' ebdthn
You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.

ܥܒܕܬܢ ܠܡܬܠܐ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܢܝܕܐ ܕܪܝܫܐ ܒܐ̈ܡܘܬܐ
b'mwth' drysh' wnyd' emm' byth lmthl' ebdthn
All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,

ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܒܗܬܬܝ ܩܕܡܝ ܗܝ ܘܒܗܬܬܐ ܕܐ̈ܦܝ ܟܣܝܬܢܝ
ksythny d'py wbhthth' hy qdmy bhththy ywm' wklh
at the taunt of one who reproaches and verbally abuses, because of the enemy and the avenger.

ܡܢ ܩܠܐ ܕܡܚܣܕ ܘܡܓܕܦ ܘܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܐ ܕܡܬܢܩܡ
dmthnqm beldbb' qdm wmn wmgdp dmkhsd ql' mn
All this has come on us, yet we haven’t forgotten you. We haven’t been false to your covenant.

ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܓܕܫ ܠܢ ܘܠܐ ܛܥܝܢܟ ܘܠܐ ܕܓܠܢܢ ܒܩܝܡܟ
bqymk dglnn wl' Teynk wl' ln gdsh klhyn hlyn
Our heart has not turned back, neither have our steps strayed from your path,

ܘܠܐ ܗܦܟܢ ܠܒܣܬܪܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܗܦܟܢ ܫܒܝ̈ܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܚܟ
'wrkhk mn shbylyn 'hpkn wl' lbsthrn hpkn wl'
though you have crushed us in the haunt of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܟܟܬܢ ܒܐܬܪܐ ܬܢܝܢܐ ܘܟܣܝܬܢ ܒ̈ܛܠܠܝ ܡܘܬܐ
mwth' bTlly wksythn thnyn' b'thr' dmkkthn mTl
If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god,

ܘܠܐ ܛܥܝܢ ܫܡܗ ܕܐܠܗܢ ܘܠܐ ܦܫܛܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܢ ܠܘܬ ܐ̈ܠܗܐ ܢܘܟܪ̈ܝܐ
nwkry' 'lh' lwth 'ydyn pshTn wl' d'lhn shmh Teyn wl'
won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.

ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ ܒܨܐ ܠܗ̇ ܠܗܕܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܗܘ ܝܕܥ ܡܚܫ̈ܒܬܗ ܕܠܒܐ
dlb' mkhshbthh yde dhw mTl lhd' lh bts' hw 'lh'
Yes, for your sake we are killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.

ܡܛܠܬܟ ܐܬܩܛܠܢ ܟܠ ܝܘܡ ܘܐܬܚܫܒܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܠܢܟܣܬܐ
lnksth' en' 'yk w'thkhshbn ywm kl 'thqTln mTlthk
Wake up! Why do you sleep, Lord? Arise! Don’t reject us forever.

ܐܬܬܥܝܪ ܘܠܐ ܬܕܡܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܗܕܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܛܥܝܢ
thTeyn wl' ehdyn mry' thdmk wl' 'ththeyr
Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?

ܘܠܐ ܬܗܦܟ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܡܢܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܛܥܐ ܡܘܟܟܢ ܘܐ̈ܘܠܨܢܝܢ
w'wltsnyn mwkkn thTe' wl' mnn 'pyk thhpk wl'
For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܟܬ ܥܠ ܥܦܪܐ ܢܦܫܢ ܘܕܒܩܬ ܟܪܣܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ
l're' krsn wdbqth npshn epr' el dmkth mTl
Rise up to help us. Redeem us for your loving kindness’ sake.
