ܛܘܒܘܗܝ ܠܡܢ ܕܚܐܪ ܒܡܣܟܢܐ ܕܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܒܝܫܬܐ ܢܦܠܛܝܘܗܝ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' nplTywhy dbyshth' dbywm' bmskn' dkh'r lmn Twbwhy
Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.

ܡܪܝܐ ܢܢܛܪܝܘܗܝ ܘܢܐܚܝܘܗܝ ܘܢܛܐܒ ܠܗ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܫܠܡܝܘܗܝ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ
lbeldbbwhy nshlmywhy wl' b're' lh wnT'b wn'khywhy nnTrywhy mry'
Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.

ܡܪܝܐ ܢܣܡܟܝܘܗܝ ܥܠ ܥܪܣܐ ܕܟܐ̈ܒܘܗܝ ܘܟܠܗ ܡܫܟܒܗ ܗܦܟ ܒܟܘܪܗܢܗ

I said, “Yahweh, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”

ܐܢܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܡܪܝ ܪܚܡ ܥܠܝ ܘܐܣܗ̇ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܚܛܝܬ ܠܟ

My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”

ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ ܐܡܪܘ ܥܠܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܐܡܬܝ ܕܝܢ ܡܝܬ ܘܐܒܕ ܫܡܗ
shmh w'bd myth dyn 'mthy byshth' ely 'mrw beldbby
If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.

ܐܡܬܝ ܕܐܬܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܡܚܙܝܢܝ ܕܓܠܘܬܐ ܡܡܠܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܘܒܠܒܗܘܢ ܚܫܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܢܦܩܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܫܘܩܐ ܘܡܡܠܠܝܢ
wmmllyn lshwq' hww npqyn byshth' hww khshlyn wblbhwn hww mmllyn dglwth' lmkhzyny hww d'thyn 'mthy
All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.

ܐܬܠܚܫܘ ܥܠܝ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܣ̈ܢܐܝ ܘܐܬܚܫܒܘ ܥܠܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ

“An evil disease”, they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”

ܒܡܠܬܐ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܪܢܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܡܟܝܠ ܕܫܟܒ ܠܐ ܡܘܣܦ ܠܡܩܡ
lmqm mwsp l' dshkb mkyl hww rnyn dewl' bmlth'
Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.

ܐܦ ܓܒܪܐ ܫܐܠ ܫܠܡܝ ܕܬܟܝܠ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܐܟܠ ܠܚܡܝ ܕܬܟܝܠ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܣܓܝ ܐܬܢܟܠ ܥܠܝ
ely 'thnkl sgy elwhy 'n' dthkyl lkhmy 'kl elwhy 'n' dthkyl shlmy sh'l gbr' 'p
But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.

ܘܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܪܚܡ ܥܠܝ ܘܐܩܝܡܝܢܝ ܕܐܦܪܘܥ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn d'prwe w'qymyny ely rkhm mry' w'nth
By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.

ܒܗܕܐ ܝܕܥܬ ܕܨܒܐ ܐܢܬ ܒܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܡܒܐܫ ܠܝ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܝ

As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.

ܠܝ ܕܝܢ ܒܬܡܝܡܘܬܝ ܣܡܟܬܢܝ ܘܐܩܝܡܬܢܝ ܩܕܡܝܟ ܠܥܠܡ

Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and amen.
