לשבחא לדוד תושבחתא:
thwshbkhtha ldwd lshbkha
I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.
2
מסברא סברית יי וצלא לותי וקביל בעותי:
bewthy wqbyl lwthy wtsla yy sbryth msbra
He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.

ואסקני מגוב אתרגושתא מסיין טשטושא ואקים על כיפא רגלי תקין אתורי:
athwry thqyn rgly kypa el waqym TshTwsha msyyn athrgwshtha mgwb wasqny
He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.

וסדר בפומי שבח חדתא תהי תושבחתא קדם אלהנא יחמון סגיאין וידחלון ויסברון במימרא דיי:
dyy bmymra wysbrwn wydkhlwn sgyayn ykhmwn alhna qdm thwshbkhtha thhy khdtha shbkh bpwmy wsdr
Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn away to lies.

טובוי דגברא דשוי יי רוחצניה ולא אסתכי לות סורבניא וממללי כדיבותא:
kdybwtha wmmlly swrbnya lwth asthky wla rwkhtsnyh yy dshwy dgbra Twbwy
Many, Yahweh, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be counted.

סגיאי נסיא דעבדתא את יי אלהי פרישותך ורעותך לותנא לית אפשר לסדרא לותך תושבחתך אתני ואמלל תקיפו מן לחואה:
lkhwah mn thqypw wamll athny thwshbkhthk lwthk lsdra apshr lyth lwthna wrewthk pryshwthk alhy yy ath debdtha nsya sgyay
Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.

נכסא ודורונא לא צביתא אודנין לאצתא פורקנך כריתא לי עלתא וקרבן חטאתי לא שילתא:
shyltha la khTathy wqrbn eltha ly krytha pwrqnk latstha awdnyn tsbytha la wdwrwna nksa
Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.

הידין אמרית הא עלית לחיי עלמא כד אעסוק במגלת ספרא דאורייתא דאכתיב אמטלתי:
amTlthy dakthyb dawryytha spra bmglth aeswq kd elma lkhyy elyth ha amryth hydyn
I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”

למעבד רעותך אלהי רעיתי ואוריתך כלילא במצע מעיני:
meyny bmtse klyla wawrythk reythy alhy rewthk lmebd
I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.

בשרית צדקא בכנישתא רבא הא ספותי לא אמנע יי אלהי את חכימת:
khkymth ath alhy yy amne la spwthy ha rba bknyshtha tsdqa bshryth
I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.

צדקתך לא טמרית בגו לבי קושטך ופורקנך אמרית לא כסיתי טיבותך והימנותך בקהלא רבא:
rba bqhla whymnwthk Tybwthk ksythy la amryth wpwrqnk qwshTk lby bgw Tmryth la tsdqthk
Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

בגלל כן את יי לא תמנע רחמך מני טובך וקושטך תדירא ינטרונני:
ynTrwnny thdyra wqwshTk Twbk mny rkhmk thmne la yy ath kn bgll
For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.

ארום תקיפין עלי בישין עד דלית מנין אדביקו יתי חובי ולא יכלית למחמי תקפו מן בינתי רישי ורעיוני שבקוני:
shbqwny wreywny ryshy bynthy mn thqpw lmkhmy yklyth wla khwby ythy adbyqw mnyn dlyth ed byshyn ely thqypyn arwm
Be pleased, Yahweh, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahweh.

אתרעי יי לשזבותני יי דסיועי זריז:
zryz dsywey yy lshzbwthny yy athrey
Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

יבהתון ויתחסדון כחדא תבעי נפשי למגמרה יזורון לאחורא ויכספון דצבין בישתי:
byshthy dtsbyn wykspwn lakhwra yzwrwn lmgmrh npshy thbey kkhda wythkhsdwn ybhthwn
Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”

יתבירון מטול בהתיהון דאמרין לי חדינא על תבריה חדוא על סגופיה:
sgwpyh el khdwa thbryh el khdyna ly damryn bhthyhwn mTwl ythbyrwn
Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let Yahweh be exalted!”

יחדון וידוצון במימרך כל בעיך וימרון תדירא יסגי חילא דיי די רחמין פורקנך:
pwrqnk rkhmyn dy dyy khyla ysgy thdyra wymrwn beyk kl bmymrk wydwtswn ykhdwn
But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
