ܡܪܝܐ ܠܐ ܒܪܘܓܙܟ ܬܟܣܢܝ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܒܚܡܬܟ ܬܪܕܝܢܝ
thrdyny bkhmthk l' 'p thksny brwgzk l' mry'
For your arrows have pierced me, your hand presses hard on me.

ܡܛܘܠ ܕܓܐܪ̈ܝܟ ܐܬܩܒܥܘ ܒܝ ܘܐܬܬܢܝܚܬ ܐܝܕܟ ܥܠܝ
ely 'ydk w'ththnykhth by 'thqbew dg'ryk mTwl
There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.

ܘܠܝܬ ܫܠܡܐ ܠܒܣܪܝ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܚܡܬܟ ܘܠܝܬ ܫܠܡܐ ܠܓܪ̈ܡܝ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܚ̈ܛܗܝ
khThy qdm mn lgrmy shlm' wlyth khmthk qdm mn lbsry shlm' wlyth
For my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.

ܡܛܠ ܕܣ̈ܟܠܘܬܝ ܥܒܪ ܠܪܝܫܝ ܘܐܝܟ ܡܘܒܠܐ ܝܩܝܪܬܐ ܝܩܪ ܠܝ

My wounds are loathsome and corrupt because of my foolishness.

ܣܪ̈ܝ ܘܐܬ̈ܡܣܝ ܚܒܪ̈ܬܝ ܘܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܣ̈ܟܠܘܬܝ
sklwthy qdm wmn khbrthy w'thmsy sry
I am in pain and bowed down greatly. I go mourning all day long.

ܙܥܬ ܛܒ ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܒܟܡܝܪܘܬܐ ܗܠܟܬ
hlkth bkmyrwth' ywm' wklh Tb zeth
For my waist is filled with burning. There is no soundness in my flesh.

ܡܛܠ ܕܩܘܪ̈ܨܠܝ ܐܬܡܠܝܘ ܙܘܥܬܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܫܠܡܐ ܠܒܣܪܝ
lbsry shlm' wlyth zweth' 'thmlyw dqwrtsly mTl
I am faint and severely bruised. I have groaned by reason of the anguish of my heart.

ܙܥܬ ܘܐܬܕܘܝܬ ܛܒ ܘܢܗܓ ܗܘܝܬ ܡܢ ܢܗܡܬܗ ܕܠܒܝ
dlby nhmthh mn hwyth wnhg Tb w'thdwyth zeth
Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.

ܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܡܝܟ ܗܝ ܟܠܗ̇ ܪܓܬܝ ܘܬܐܢܚ̈ܬܝ ܡܢܟ ܠܐ ܡܛܫ̈ܝܢ
mTshyn l' mnk wth'nkhthy rgthy klh hy qdmyk mry'
My heart throbs. My strength fails me. As for the light of my eyes, it has also left me.

ܠܒܝ ܐܬܗܦܟ ܘܚܝܠܝ ܫܒܩܢܝ ܘܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܘܬܝ
lwthy hw' l' deyny wnwhr' shbqny wkhyly 'thhpk lby
My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague. My kinsmen stand far away.

ܪ̈ܚܡܝ ܘܚܒܪ̈ܝ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܟܐܒܝ ܩܡܘ ܘܩܪ̈ܝܒܝ ܒܪܘܚܩܐ ܩܝܡܝܢ ܗܘܘ
hww qymyn brwkhq' wqryby qmw k'by lwqbl wkhbry rkhmy
They also who seek after my life lay snares. Those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all day long.

ܘܐܚܕܘܢܝ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܥܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܘܨܒܝܢ ܠܒܝܫܬܝ ܘܡܠܠܘ ܫܘܩܪܐ ܘܢܟܠܐ ܝܘܡܐ ܟܠܗ ܪܢܝܢ ܗܘܘ
hww rnyn klh ywm' wnkl' shwqr' wmllw lbyshthy wtsbyn lnpshy dbeyn 'ylyn w'khdwny
But I, as a deaf man, don’t hear. I am as a mute man who doesn’t open his mouth.

ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܚܪܫܐ ܠܐ ܫܡܥ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܐܝܟ ܕܘܓܐ ܠܐ ܦܬܚܬ ܦܘܡܝ
pwmy pthkhth l' dwg' w'yk hwyth shme l' khrsh' 'yk dyn 'n'
Yes, I am as a man who doesn’t hear, in whose mouth are no reproofs.

ܘܗܘܝܬ ܐܝܟ ܓܒܪܐ ܕܠܐ ܫܡܥ ܘܠܝܬ ܡܟܣܢܘܬܐ ܒܦܘܡܗ
bpwmh mksnwth' wlyth shme dl' gbr' 'yk whwyth
For I hope in you, Yahweh. You will answer, Lord my God.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܟ ܣܟܝܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܢܝܬܢܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܝ
'lhy mry' wenythny mry' skyth dlk mTl
For I said, “Don’t let them gloat over me, or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips.”

ܡܛܘܠ ܕܐܡܪܬ ܕܠܐ ܢܚܕܘܢ ܠܝ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܬܪܝܡܘܢ ܥܠܝ ܒܙܘܥܬܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܝ
drgly bzweth' ely nththrymwn wl' ly nkhdwn dl' d'mrth mTwl
For I am ready to fall. My pain is continually before me.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܐ ܠܚܫܐ ܡܛܝܒ ܐܢܐ ܘܟܐܒܝ ܠܘܩܒܠܝ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ
bklzbn lwqbly wk'by 'n' mTyb lkhsh' d'n' mTl
For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin.

ܡܛܘܠ ܕܐܚܘܝܟ ܣ̈ܟܠܘܬܝ ܘܐܬܕܟܐ ܡܢ ܚ̈ܛܗܝ
khThy mn w'thdk' sklwthy d'khwyk mTwl
But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous.

ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ ܐܬܥܫܢܘ ܘܚܙܘ ܘܣܓܝܘ ܣܢܐ̈ܝ ܕܫܘܩܪܐ
dshwqr' sn'y wsgyw wkhzw 'theshnw beldbby
They who give evil for good are also adversaries to me, because I follow what is good.

ܦܪܥܘܢܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܚܠܦ ܛܒܬܐ ܘܣܩܪܘܢܝ ܥܠ ܕܒܥܝܬ ܛܒܬܐ
Tbth' dbeyth el wsqrwny Tbth' khlp byshth' prewny
Don’t forsake me, Yahweh. My God, don’t be far from me.

ܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܢܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܝ ܘܠܐ ܬܪܚܩ ܡܢܝ

Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.
