ܐܒܪܟ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܘܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܗ ܒܦܘܡܝ

My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

ܒܡܪܝܐ ܬܫܬܒܗܪ ܢܦܫܝ ܢܫܡܥܘܢ ܡܣ̈ܟܢܐ ܘܢܚܕܘܢ

Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let’s exalt his name together.

ܐܘܪܒ ܥܡܝ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܢܪܝܡ ܫܡܗ ܐܟܚܕܐ
'wrb emy lmry' wnrym shmh 'kkhd'
I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

ܒܥܝܬ ܡܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܢܢܝ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܘ̈ܠܨܢܝ ܦܨܝܢܝ
beyth mn mry' wenny wmn klhwn 'wltsny ptsyny
They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

ܚܘܪܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܣܒܪܘ ܒܗ ܘܐ̈ܦܝܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܚܦܪ̈ܢ

This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

ܗܢܘ ܡܣܟܢܐ ܕܩܪܝܗܝ ܘܫܡܥܗ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܘ̈ܠܨܢܘܗܝ ܦܨܝܗ

Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

ܡܫܪܝܬܐ ܕܡܠܐ̈ܟܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܚܕܝܪܐ ܠܕܚ̈ܠܘܗܝ ܘܡܦܨܝܐ ܠܗܘܢ
mshryth' dml'kwhy dmry' khdyr' ldkhlwhy wmptsy' lhwn
Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

ܛܥܡܘ ܘܚܙܘ ܕܛܒ ܗܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܛܘܒܝܗܘܢ ܠܟܠ ܕܬܟܝܠܝܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ

Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.

ܥܬܝܪ̈ܐ ܐܬܡܣܟܢܘ ܘܟܦܢܘ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܠܐ ܬܚܣܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܛܒܬܐ

Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

ܬܘ ܒܢ̈ܝܐ ܫܘܡܥܘܢܝ ܘܐܠܦܟܘܢ ܕܚܠܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ

Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

ܐܝܢܘ ܓܒܪܐ ܕܨܒܐ ܚ̈ܝܐ ܘܪܚܡ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܛܒ̈ܐ ܠܡܚܙܐ
'ynw gbr' dtsb' khy' wrkhm ywmth' Tb' lmkhz'
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.

ܛܪ ܠܫܢܟ ܡܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܣ̈ܦܘܬܟ ܠܐ ܢܡܠܠܢ ܢܟܠܐ
Tr lshnk mn byshth' wspwthk l' nmlln nkl'
Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

ܥܒܪ ܡܢ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܛܒܬܐ ܒܥܝ ܫܠܡܐ ܘܗܪܛ ܒܬܪܗ

Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

ܥܝܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܙܕܝܩ̈ܐ ܘܐ̈ܕܢܘܗܝ ܠܡܫܡܥ ܐܢܘܢ
eynwhy dmry' el zdyq' w'dnwhy lmshme 'nwn
Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

ܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܒܝܫ̈ܐ ܕܢܥܛܐ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܘܟܪܢܗܘܢ

The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

ܓܥܘ ܙܕܝܩ̈ܐ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܫܡܥ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܦܨܝ ܐܢܘܢ
gew zdyq' wmry' shme 'nwn wptsy 'nwn
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

ܩܪܝܒ ܗܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܬܒܝܪ̈ܝ ܠܒܐ ܘܠܡ̈ܟܝܟܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܦܪܩ

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

ܣ̈ܓܝܐܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܗ ܕܙܕܝܩܐ ܘܡܢ ܟܘܠܗܝܢ ܡܦܨܐ ܠܗ ܡܪܝܐ
sgy'n byshthh dzdyq' wmn kwlhyn mpts' lh mry'
He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

ܘܢܛܪ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܘܗܝ ܕܚܕ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܬܬܒܪ
wnTr lklhwn grmwhy dkhd mnhwn l' nththbr
Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

ܩܛܠܐ ܠܪ̈ܫܝܥܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܣܢܐ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܙܕܝܩܐ ܢܣܘܦܘܢ

Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.

ܢܦܪܘܩ ܡܪܝܐ ܢܦܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܚܝܒܘܢ ܟܘܠ ܕܡܣܒܪܝܢ ܒܗ
