ܐܪܡܪܡܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܐܪܝܡܬܢܝ ܘܠܐ ܚܕܝܬ ܒܝ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ
lbeldbby by khdyth wl' d'rymthny mry' 'rmrmk
Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.

ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܝ ܒܥܝܬ ܡܢܟ ܘܐܣܝܬܢܝ
w'sythny mnk beyth 'lhy mry'
Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4
ܘܐܣܩܬ ܡܢ ܫܝܘܠ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܘܐܚܝܬܢܝ ܡܢ ܢܚ̈ܬܝ ܓܘܒܐ
gwb' nkhthy mn w'khythny lnpshy shywl mn w'sqth
Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.

ܙܡܪܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܓܒ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܐܘܕܘ ܠܕܘܟܪܢܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܗ
dqwdshh ldwkrn' w'wdw gbwhy lmry' zmrw
For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

ܡܛܠ ܕܟܐܬܐ ܒܪܘܓܙܗ ܘܚ̈ܝܐ ܒܨܒܝܢܗ ܒܪܡܫܐ ܬܒܘܬ ܒܟܬܐ ܘܒܨܦܪܐ ܚܕܘܬܐ
khdwth' wbtspr' bkth' thbwth brmsh' btsbynh wkhy' brwgzh dk'th' mTl
As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.”

ܐܢܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܒܫܠܝܘܬܝ ܕܠܐ ܐܙܘܥ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm 'zwe dl' bshlywthy 'mrth 'n'
You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

ܐܠܗܐ ܒܨܒܝܢܟ ܐܩܝܡܬ ܥܠ ܫܘܒܚܝ ܚܝܠܐ ܘܐܗܦܟܬ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܘܙܥܬ
wzeth 'pyk w'hpkth khyl' shwbkhy el 'qymth btsbynk 'lh'
I cried to you, Yahweh. I made supplication to the Lord:

ܘܩܪܝܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܡܢܟ ܡܪܝ ܒܥܝܬ
beyth mry wmnk mry' wqrythk
“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

ܡܢܐ ܝܘܬܪܢܐ ܐܝܬ ܒܕܡܝ ܕܐܚܘܬ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܠܐ ܡܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܥܦܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܚܘܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟ
hymnwthk mkhw' wl' epr' lk mwd' l' lkhbl' d'khwth bdmy 'yth ywthrn' mn'
Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper.”

ܫܡܥ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܪܚܡ ܥܠܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܘܝ ܠܝ ܥܕܘܪܐ
edwr' ly hwy mry' ely wrkhm 'lh' shme
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,

ܕܐܗܦܟܬ ܡܪ̈ܩܕܬܝ ܠܚܕܘܬܐ ܫܪܝܬ ܣܩܝ ܘܐܟܒܢܬܢܝ ܚܕܘܬܐ
khdwth' w'kbnthny sqy shryth lkhdwth' mrqdthy d'hpkth
to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
