תשבחתא לדוד במערקיה מן קדם אבשלום בריה:
bryh abshlwm qdm mn bmerqyh ldwd thshbkhtha
Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
2
יי כמה סגיאין מעיקי סגיאין דקימין עלי:
ely dqymyn sgyayn meyqy sgyayn kmh yy
Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah.
3
סגיאין אמרין לנפשי לית פורקנא ליה באלהא לעלמין:
lelmyn balha lyh pwrqna lyth lnpshy amryn sgyayn
But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.

ואנת יי תריס עלי יקרי ומרים רישי:
ryshy wmrym yqry ely thrys yy wanth
I cry to Yahweh with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. Selah.

קלי קדם יי אצלי יקבל צלותי מן טור בית מקדשיה לעלמין:
lelmyn mqdshyh byth Twr mn tslwthy yqbl atsly yy qdm qly
I laid myself down and slept. I awakened, for Yahweh sustains me.

אנא שכיבית ודמכית אתערית מטול דיי סמיך יתי:
ythy smyk dyy mTwl atheryth wdmkyth shkybyth ana
I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.

לא תדחל ממצותא דעם דחזור חזור אתכנשו עלי:
ely athknshw khzwr dkhzwr dem mmtswtha thdkhl la
Arise, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

קום יי פרוק יתי אלהי ארום מחית כל בעלי דבבי על ליסתהון ככי רשיעי תברת:
thbrth rshyey kky lysthhwn el dbby bely kl mkhyth arwm alhy ythy prwq yy qwm
Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah.
