לדוד יי נהורי ופורקני ממן אדחל יי עושנא דחיי ממן אדחל:
adkhl mmn dkhyy ewshna yy adkhl mmn wpwrqny nhwry yy ldwd
Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?

כד יתקרבון עלי מבאשין לגרמא ית בסרי מעיקי ובעלי דבבי הנון אתקלו ונפלו:
wnplw athqlw hnwn dbby wbely meyqy bsry yth lgrma mbashyn ely ythqrbwn kd
When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

אין תשרי עלי משרית רשיעי לא אדחל לבבי אין תקום עלי קרבא בדא אנא סביר:
sbyr ana bda qrba ely thqwm ayn lbby adkhl la rshyey mshryth ely thshry ayn
Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

חדא בעיתי מן קדם יי יתה אתבע דאתב בבית מקדשא דיי כל יומי חיי למחמי בבסימותא דיי ולבקרא בהיכליה:
bhyklyh wlbqra dyy bbsymwtha lmkhmy khyy ywmy kl dyy mqdsha bbyth dathb athbe ythh yy qdm mn beythy khda
One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

ארום יטשנני בטלליה ביום בישתא יטמרנני בטמור משכניה בכרך תקיף ירורם יתי:
ythy yrwrm thqyp bkrk mshknyh bTmwr yTmrnny byshtha bywm bTllyh yTshnny arwm
For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.

והשתא יתרורם רישי על בעלי דבבי חזור חזור ואכוס במשכניה נכסי רעוא אשבח ואביע קדם יי:
yy qdm wabye ashbkh rewa nksy bmshknyh wakws khzwr khzwr dbby bely el ryshy ythrwrm whshtha
Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.

קבל יי צלותי במקראי וחוס עלי ורחם יתי:
ythy wrkhm ely wkhws bmqray tslwthy yy qbl
Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.

לך אמר לבי בעי אפי ית סבר אפך יי אתבע:
athbe yy apk sbr yth apy bey lby amr lk
When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, Yahweh.”

לא תסלק שכנתך מני לא תצלי ברוגזא לעבדך סיועי הויתא לא תטלטל יתי ולא תשבקנני אלהא דפורקני:
dpwrqny alha thshbqnny wla ythy thTlTl la hwytha sywey lebdk brwgza thtsly la mny shknthk thslq la
Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.

מטול דאבא ואמא ישבקו יתי יי יכנוש לי:
ly yknwsh yy ythy yshbqw wama daba mTwl
When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up.

אלפני יי אורחתך ודברני בהלכתא תריצא מטול תושבחתי:
thwshbkhthy mTwl thrytsa bhlktha wdbrny awrkhthk yy alpny
Teach me your way, Yahweh. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.

לא תמסרנני ברעות מעיקי ארום קמו עלי סהדי שקרא וממללי חטופא:
khTwpa wmmlly shqra shdy ely qmw arwm meyqy brewth thmsrnny la
Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.

אלולי די הימנית למחמי בטובא דיי בארעא דחיי עלמא:
elma dkhyy barea dyy bTwba lmkhmy hymnyth dy alwly
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
