ܐܠܗܝ ܐܠܗܝ ܠܡܢܐ ܫܒܩܬܢܝ ܘܐܪܚܩܬ ܡܢ ܦܘܪܩܢܝ ܒܡ̈ܠܐ ܕܣ̈ܟܠܘܬܝ
dsklwthy bml' pwrqny mn w'rkhqth shbqthny lmn' 'lhy 'lhy
My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don’t answer; in the night season, and am not silent.

ܐܠܗܝ ܐܩܪܝܟ ܒܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܥܢܝܢܝ ܘܒܠܠܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܟܬܪ ܠܝ
ly thkthr wl' wblly' thenyny wl' b'ymm' 'qryk 'lhy
But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.

ܐܢܬ ܩܕܝܫ ܘܝܬܒ ܒܫܘܒܚܟ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'ysryl bshwbkhk wythb qdysh 'nth
Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them.

ܒܟ ܣܒܪܘ ܐ̈ܒܗܝ ܣܒܪܘ ܒܟ ܘܦܨܝܬ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn wptsyth bk sbrw 'bhy sbrw bk
They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.

ܠܘܬܟ ܓܥܘ ܘܐܬܦܨܝܘ ܒܟ ܣܒܪܘ ܘܠܐ ܒܗܬܘ
bhthw wl' sbrw bk w'thptsyw gew lwthk
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.

ܐܢܐ ܬܘܠܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܣܕܐ ܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܘܣܘܠܢܗ ܕܥܡܐ
dem' wswlnh 'nsh' dbny khsd' brnsh' wl' 'n' thwle' 'n'
All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,

ܟܠ ܕܚܙܐܘܢܝ ܡܝܩܘ ܒܝ ܐܦܛܪܘ ܒܣ̈ܦܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܢܝܕܘ ܒܪ̈ܝܫܝܗܘܢ
bryshyhwn w'nydw bspwthhwn 'pTrw by myqw dkhz'wny kl
“He trusts in Yahweh. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”

ܐܬܬܟܠ ܥܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܢܦܨܝܘܗܝ ܘܢܦܠܛܝܘܗܝ ܐܢ ܨܒܐ ܒܗ
bh tsb' 'n wnplTywhy dnptsywhy mry' el 'ththkl
But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܡܢ ܡܪܒܥܐ ܘܣܒܪܝ ܥܠ ܬܕܝ̈ܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ
d'my thdyh el wsbry mrbe' mn thwklny hw d'nth mTl
I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.

ܥܠܝܟ ܐܫܬܕܝܬ ܡܢ ܡܪܒܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܟܪܣܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ ܐܠܗܝ ܐܢܬ
'nth 'lhy d'my krsh wmn mrbe' mn 'shthdyth elyk
Don’t be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help.

ܠܐ ܬܪܚܩ ܡܢܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܩܪܒ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܡܥܕܪ
dmedr wlyth qrb d'wltsn' mTl mny thrkhq l'
Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.

ܐܬܟܪܟܘܢܝ ܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܘܢܐ ܕܒܝܫܢ ܚܕܪܘܢܝ
khdrwny dbyshn w'rwn' sgy'' thwr' 'thkrkwny
They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.

ܦܬܚܘ ܥܠܝ ܦܘܡܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܐܪܝܐ ܕܢܗܡ ܘܚܛܦ
wkhTp dnhm 'ry' 'yk pwmhwn ely pthkhw
I am poured out like water. All my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax. It is melted within me.

ܘܐܝܟ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܐܬܐܫܕܬ ܘܐܬܒܕܪܘ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܝ ܘܗܘܐ ܠܒܝ ܐܝܟ ܫܥܘܬܐ ܘܐܬܡܣܝܘ ܒܓܘ ܡ̈ܥܝ
mey bgw w'thmsyw shewth' 'yk lby whw' grmy klhwn w'thbdrw 'th'shdth my' w'yk
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.

ܘܝܒܫ ܐܝܟ ܚܨܦܐ ܕܦܚܪܐ ܚܝܠܝ ܘܠܫܢܝ ܕܒܩ ܠܫܡ̈ܝ ܚܟܝ ܘܥܠ ܥܦܪܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܫܕܝܬܢܝ
shdythny dmwth' epr' wel khky lshmy dbq wlshny khyly dpkhr' khtsp' 'yk wybsh
For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

ܡܛܠ ܕܚܕܪܘܢܝ ܟܠܒ̈ܐ ܘܟܢܘܫܬܐ ܕܒܝܫ̈ܐ ܟܪܟܘܢܝ ܒܙܥܘ ܐ̈ܝܕܝ ܘܪ̈ܓܠܝ
wrgly 'ydy bzew krkwny dbysh' wknwshth' klb' dkhdrwny mTl
I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.

ܘܐܝܠܠܘ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܝ ܗܢܘܢ ܚܪܘ ܘܚܙܘ ܒܝ
by wkhzw khrw hnwn grmy kwlhwn w'yllw
They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.

ܘܦܠܓܘ ܢܚ̈ܬܝ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܠܒܘܫܝ ܐܪܡܝܘ ܦܣܐ
ps' 'rmyw lbwshy wel bynthhwn nkhthy wplgw
But don’t be far off, Yahweh. You are my help. Hurry to help me!

ܘܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܐ ܬܪܚܩ ܡܢܝ ܐܝܠ ܐܝܠ ܠܥܘܕܪܢܝ ܟܬܪ
kthr lewdrny 'yl 'yl mny thrkhq l' mry' w'nth
Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog.

ܘܦܨܗ̇ ܡܢ ܚܪܒܐ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܘܡܢ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܟܠܒ̈ܐ ܝܚܝܕܘܬܝ
ykhydwthy dklb' 'yd' wmn lnpshy khrb' mn wptsh
Save me from the lion’s mouth! Yes, you have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen.

ܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ ܡܢ ܦܘܡܗ ܕܐܪܝܐ. ܘܡܢ ܩܪܢܐ ܪܡܬܐ ܡܘܟܟܝ
mwkky rmth' qrn' wmn d'ry' pwmh mn prwqyny
I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you.

ܕܐܣܒܪ ܫܡܟ ܠܐ̈ܚܝ ܘܒܓܘ ܟܢܘܫܬܐ ܐܫܒܚܟ
'shbkhk knwshth' wbgw l'khy shmk d'sbr
You who fear Yahweh, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!

ܕܚ̈ܠܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܫܒܚܘܗܝ ܘܟܠܗ ܙܪܥܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܐܘܩܪܘܗܝ ܘܕܚܠܘ ܡܢܗ ܟܠܗ ܙܪܥܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
d'ysryl zreh klh mnh wdkhlw 'wqrwhy dyeqwb zreh wklh shbkhwhy dmry' dkhlwhy
For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܫܛ ܘܠܐ ܐܣܠܝ ܓܥܬܗ ܕܡܣܟܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܗܦܟ ܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܡܢܗ ܟܕ ܓܥܐ ܠܘܬܗ ܫܡܥܗ
shmeh lwthh ge' kd mnh 'pwhy 'hpk wl' dmskn' gethh 'sly wl' shT dl' mTl
My praise of you comes in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.

ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝܟ ܗܝ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܝ ܒܥܕܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܢܕܪ̈ܝ ܐܫܠܡ ܩܕܡ ܕܚ̈ܠܘܗܝ
dkhlwhy qdm 'shlm ndry rbth' bedth' thshbwkhthy hy qdmyk mn
The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise Yahweh who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.

ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܡܣ̈ܟܢܐ ܘܢܣܒܥܘܢ ܘܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܥܝܢ ܠܗ ܘܢܚܐ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡܝܢ
lelmyn lbhwn wnkh' lh dbeyn 'ylyn lmry' wnshbkhwn wnsbewn mskn' n'klwn
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.

ܢܬܕܟܪܘܢ ܘܢܬܦܢܘܢ ܠܘܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܒܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܢܣ̈ܓܕܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܫܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ
demm' shrbth' klhyn nsgdn wqdmwhy d're' ebryh klhwn mry' lwth wnthpnwn nthdkrwn
For the kingdom is Yahweh’s. He is the ruler over the nations.

ܡܛܠ ܕܕܡܪܝܐ ܗܝ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܘܗܘܝܘ ܫܠܝܛ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ
emm' el shlyT whwyw mlkwth' hy ddmry' mTl
All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.

ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܘܢܣܓܕܘܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܦܢ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܢܒܪܟܘܢ ܟܠ ܢܚ̈ܬܝ ܥܦܪܐ. ܢܦܫܝ ܠܗ ܗܘ ܚܝܐ
khy' hw lh npshy epr' nkhthy kl nbrkwn wqdmwhy d're' kpnyh klhwn mry' qdm wnsgdwn n'klwn
Posterity shall serve him. Future generations shall be told about the Lord.

ܙܪܥܐ ܕܢܦܠܚܝܘܗܝ ܢܣܒܪ ܕܪܗ ܠܡܪܝܐ
lmry' drh nsbr dnplkhywhy zre'
They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, for he has done it.
32
ܢܐܬܘܢ ܘܢܚܘܘܢ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܗ ܠܥܡܐ ܕܡܬܝܠܕ ܕܥܒܕ ܡܪܝܐ
