ܠܡܢܐ ܪܓܫܘ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐ̈ܡܘܬܐ ܪ̈ܢܝ ܣܪܝܩܘܬܐ
sryqwth' rny w'mwth' emm' rgshw lmn'
Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?

ܩܡܘ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܫ̈ܠܝܛܢܐ. ܘܐܬܡܠܟܘ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ ܥܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܠ ܡܫܝܚܗ
mshykhh wel mry' el khd' 'yk w'thmlkw wshlyTn' d're' mlk' qmw
The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed, saying,

ܕܢܦܣܩ ܚܢܩ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܫܪܐ ܡܢܢ ܢܝܪܗܘܢ
nyrhwn mnn wnshr' khnqyhwn dnpsq
“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”

ܕܝܬܒ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܢܓܚܟ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܢܡܝܩ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn nmyq wmry' ngkhk bshmy' dythb
He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.

ܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܢܡܠܠ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܒܪܘܓܙܗ ܘܒܚܡܬܗ ܢܕܠܚ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn ndlkh wbkhmthh brwgzh elyhwn nmll dyn hy
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:

ܐܢܐ ܐܩܝܡܬ ܡܠܟܝ ܥܠ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ
dqwdshy Twr' tshywn el mlky 'qymth 'n'
“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”

ܕܢܫܬܥܐ ܥܠ ܩܝܡܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܕܒܪܝ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܢܐ ܝܘܡܢܐ ܝܠܕܬܟ
yldthk ywmn' w'n' 'nth dbry ly 'mr mry' qymy el dnshthe'
I will tell of the decree: Yahweh said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.

ܫܐܠ ܡܢܝ ܘܐܬܠ ܠܟ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܠܝܪܬܘܬܟ ܘܐܘܚ̈ܕܢܝܟ ܥܒܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' ebryh w'wkhdnyk lyrthwthk emm' lk w'thl mny sh'l
Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

ܬܪܥܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܫܒܛܐ ܕܦܪܙܠܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܡܐ̈ܢܝ ܦܚܪܐ ܬܢܦܨ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn thnpts pkhr' m'ny w'yk dprzl' bshbT' 'nwn thre'
You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

ܗܫܐ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܐܣܬܟܠܘ ܘܐܬܪܕܘ ܕܝ̈ܢܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' dyn' w'thrdw 'sthklw mlk' hsh'
Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

ܦܠܘܚܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܕܚܠܬܐ ܘܐܘܚܕܘܢܝܗܝ ܒܪܬܝܬܐ
brthyth' w'wkhdwnyhy bdkhlth' lmry' plwkhw
Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

ܐܚܘܕ ܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܪܓܙ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܬܐܒܕܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܚܗ ܡܛܠ ܕܥܕ ܩܠܝܠ ܝܩܕ ܪܘܓܙܗ ܘܛܘܒܝܗܘܢ ܠܟܠ ܕܬܟܝܠܝܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ
elwhy dthkylyn lkl wTwbyhwn rwgzh yqd qlyl ded mTl 'wrkhh mn wth'bdwn mry' nrgz dl' mrdwth' 'khwd
Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
