לשבחא על נסיא דאתרחישו לעבדא דיי לדוד דשבח בנבואה קדם יי ית פתגמי שירתא הדא על כל יומיא דשזביה יי מן ידא דכל בעלי דבבוי ומחרבא דשאול:
dshawl wmkhrba dbbwy bely dkl yda mn yy dshzbyh ywmya kl el hda shyrtha pthgmy yth yy qdm bnbwah dshbkh ldwd dyy lebda dathrkhyshw nsya el lshbkha
I love you, Yahweh, my strength.

ואמר אחבבנך יי תוקפי:
thwqpy yy akhbbnk wamr
Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

יי תוקפי ורחצני ומשזיב יתי אלהא דאתרעי בי קרבני לדחלתיה תריסי דמן קדמוי אתיהב לי תקוף ופורקן על בעלי דבבי רחצני:
rkhtsny dbby bely el wpwrqn thqwp ly athyhb qdmwy dmn thrysy ldkhlthyh qrbny by dathrey alha ythy wmshzyb wrkhtsny thwqpy yy
I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.

אמר דוד בתושבחתא אנא מצלי קדם יי ומן בעלי דבבי פריק יתי:
ythy pryq dbby bely wmn yy qdm mtsly ana bthwshbkhtha dwd amr
The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

אקפתני עקא כאתא דיתבא על מתברא וחיל לית לה למילד והיא מסכנא לממת וסיעת טלומיא בעתת יתי:
ythy bethth Tlwmya wsyeth lmmth mskna whya lmyld lh lyth wkhyl mthbra el dythba katha eqa aqpthny
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death came on me.

משרית חיבין אקפוני אקדומי יתי דמזינין במני קטול:
qTwl bmny dmzynyn ythy aqdwmy aqpwny khybyn mshryth
In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.

בדעיקא לי אנא מצלי קדם יי וקדם אלהי אנא מתחנן ומקבל צלותי מן היכליה ובעותי קדמוי מתקבלא באודנוי ומתעבדא:
wmthebda bawdnwy mthqbla qdmwy wbewthy hyklyh mn tslwthy wmqbl mthkhnn ana alhy wqdm yy qdm mtsly ana ly bdeyqa
Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

ואתרגיפת ואתרגישת ארעא ואשית טוריא זעו ואתרטישו מטול דתקיף ליה:
lyh dthqyp mTwl wathrTyshw zew Twrya washyth area wathrgyshth wathrgypth
Smoke went out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it.

סליק זדוניה דפרעה היך קוטרא דבכן שלח רוגזיה כאשא בערא דמן קדמוי משתציא מזופיתיה כגומרין די נור דלקא ממימריה:
mmymryh dlqa nwr dy kgwmryn mzwpythyh mshthtsya qdmwy dmn bera kasha rwgzyh shlkh dbkn qwTra hyk dpreh zdwnyh slyq
He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.

וארכן שמיא ואתגלי יקריה וענן אמטתא כבש קדמוי:
qdmwy kbsh amTtha wenn yqryh wathgly shmya warkn
He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.

ואתגלי בגבורתיה על כרובין קלילין ודבר בתקוף על גדפי זעפא:
zepa gdpy el bthqwp wdbr qlylyn krwbyn el bgbwrthyh wathgly
He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

ואשרי שכינתיה בערפלא ואתחזר בענני יקריה היך מטללתא ואחית מטרין דרעוא על עמיה ומין תקיפין מן רכפת עננין דקבלא על רשיעיא מן רומיה דעלמא:
delma rwmyh mn rshyeya el dqbla ennyn rkpth mn thqypyn wmyn emyh el drewa mTryn wakhyth mTlltha hyk yqryh benny wathkhzr berpla shkynthyh washry
At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.

מן זהור יקריה ענני שמיא עברו במזופיתא בגומרין דנור ברדא דלקא מן מימריה:
mymryh mn dlqa brda dnwr bgwmryn bmzwpytha ebrw shmya enny yqryh zhwr mn
Yahweh also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.

ואכלי מן שמיא יי ועלאה ארים מימריה רמא ברדא וגומרין די נור:
nwr dy wgwmryn brda rma mymryh arym welah yy shmya mn wakly
He sent out his arrows, and scattered them. He routed them with great lightning bolts.
15
ושדר מימריה היך גירין וברדין וברקין סגיאין ישגשגון:
yshgshgwn sgyayn wbrqyn wbrdyn gyryn hyk mymryh wshdr
Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, Yahweh, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

ואתחמיאו עמקי מיא ואתגליאו שתאסיא דתבל ממזופיתא מן קדם יי ממימר תקוף רוגזך:
rwgzk thqwp mmymr yy qdm mn mmzwpytha dthbl shthasya wathglyaw mya emqy wathkhmyaw
He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.

שלח נביוהי מלך תקיף דיתיב בתקוף רומא דברני שזבני מעממין סגיאין:
sgyayn memmyn shzbny dbrny rwma bthqwp dythyb thqyp mlk nbywhy shlkh
He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.

שזבני מן סנאי ארום עשינין הינון ומן בעלי דבבי ארום אתגברו עלי:
ely athgbrw arwm dbby bely wmn hynwn eshynyn arwm snay mn shzbny
They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Yahweh was my support.
19
אקדימו לי ביום טלטולי והוה מימרא דיי סמיך לי:
ly smyk dyy mymra whwh TlTwly bywm ly aqdymw
He brought me out also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20
ואפק יתי לרוחא שזבני מטול דאתרעי בי:
by dathrey mTwl shzbny lrwkha ythy wapq
Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands, he has recompensed me.
21
יגמלנני יי כזכותי כברירות ידי יתיב לי:
ly ythyb ydy kbryrwth kzkwthy yy ygmlnny
For I have kept the ways of Yahweh, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22
מטול דנטרית אורחן דתקנן קדם יי ולא הלכית ברשע קדם יי:
yy qdm brshe hlkyth wla yy qdm dthqnn awrkhn dnTryth mTwl
For all his ordinances were before me. I didn’t put away his statutes from me.
23
מטול דכל דינו גלוי לקבלי למעבדהון וקימוי לא אעדי מני:
mny aedy la wqymwy lmebdhwn lqbly glwy dynw dkl mTwl
I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity.
24
והויתי שלים בדחלתיה והויתי נטיר נפשי מחובין:
mkhwbyn npshy nTyr whwythy bdkhlthyh shlym whwythy
Therefore Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
25
ופרע יי לי היך זכותי כברירות אידי קדם מימריה:
mymryh qdm aydy kbryrwth zkwthy hyk ly yy wpre
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.

עם אברהם דאשתכח חסיד קדמך אסגיתא למעבד חסדא עם זרעיה דיצחק דהוה שלים בדחלתך אשלמתא מימר רעותך עמיה:
emyh rewthk mymr ashlmtha bdkhlthk shlym dhwh dytskhq zreyh em khsda lmebd asgytha qdmk khsyd dashthkkh abrhm em
With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

עם יעקב דהוה בריר קדמך בחרתא בנוי מן כל עממיא ואפרשתא זרעיה מן כל פסילא ועם פרעה וזרעיה ומצראי דחשיבו מחשבן בישן על עמך בלבלתנון במחשבתהון:
bmkhshbthhwn blblthnwn emk el byshn mkhshbn dkhshybw wmtsray wzreyh preh wem psyla kl mn zreyh waprshtha emmya kl mn bnwy bkhrtha qdmk bryr dhwh yeqb em
For you will save the afflicted people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.

מטול דאנת ית עמא בית ישראל דחשיכין ביני עממיא בגלותא אנת עתיד למפרק ובמימרך אומיא תקיפיא דמתגברין עליהון תמאיך:
thmayk elyhwn dmthgbryn thqypya awmya wbmymrk lmprq ethyd anth bglwtha emmya byny dkhshykyn yshral byth ema yth danth mTwl
For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness.

מטול דאנת תנהר שרגא דישראל דמטפיא בגלותא דאנת הוא מריה דנהורא דישראל יי אלהי יפקנני מחשכא לנהור יחמנני בניחמותי דעלמא דעתיד למיתי לצדיקיא:
ltsdyqya lmythy dethyd delma bnykhmwthy ykhmnny lnhwr mkhshka ypqnny alhy yy dyshral dnhwra mryh hwa danth bglwtha dmTpya dyshral shrga thnhr danth mTwl
For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
30
מטול דבמימרך אסגי משרין ובמימר אלהי אכבוש כרכין תקיפין:
thqypyn krkyn akbwsh alhy wbmymr mshryn asgy dbmymrk mTwl
As for God, his way is perfect. Yahweh’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

אלהא דכונן ארחתיה אורייתא דיי בחירא תריס הוא לכל דמתרחצין עלוי:
elwy dmthrkhtsyn lkl hwa thrys bkhyra dyy awryytha arkhthyh dkwnn alha
For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God,

ארום נסא ופורקנא דתעביד למשיחך ולשיורי עמך דישתארון יודון כל עממיא אומיא ולשניא ויימרון לית אלהא אלא יי ארום לית בר מנך ועמך יימרון לית דתקיף אלא אלהנא:
alhna ala dthqyp lyth yymrwn wemk mnk br lyth arwm yy ala alha lyth wyymrwn wlshnya awmya emmya kl ywdwn dyshtharwn emk wlshywry lmshykhk dthebyd wpwrqna nsa arwm
the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?

אלהא דמזרז לי קמור בחילא ומתקן שלים ארחי:
arkhy shlym wmthqn bkhyla qmwr ly dmzrz alha
He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.

דמשוי רגלי קלילין היך אילתא ועל בית תוקפי יקימנני:
yqymnny thwqpy byth wel ayltha hyk qlylyn rgly dmshwy
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
35
מליף אידי למעבד קרבא ומתקיף היך קשת כרכומא דרעי:
drey krkwma qshth hyk wmthqyp qrba lmebd aydy mlyp
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
36
ויהבת לי תקוף ופורקן וימינך תסייעני ובמימרך אסגעתני:
asgethny wbmymrk thsyyeny wymynk wpwrqn thqwp ly wyhbth
You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.
37
אפתית פסיעתי באתרי ולא אזדעזא רכובתי:
rkwbthy azdeza wla bathry psyethy apthyth
I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. I won’t turn away until they are consumed.
38
ארדוף סנאי ושציתנון ולא שבות עד דגמרתנון:
dgmrthnwn ed shbwth wla wshtsythnwn snay ardwp
I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.
39
אגמרנון ולא יכילו למקם ונפלו קטילין תחות פרסת רגלי:
rgly prsth thkhwth qTylyn wnplw lmqm ykylw wla agmrnwn
For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
40
וזרזתא לי חילא היך קמור למעבד קרבא תברתא עממין דקימין לאבאשא לי תחותי:
thkhwthy ly labasha dqymyn emmyn thbrtha qrba lmebd qmwr hyk khyla ly wzrztha
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
41
ובעלי דבבי תברת קדמי יהבתנון מחזרי קדל וסנאי אשיצנון:
ashytsnwn wsnay qdl mkhzry yhbthnwn qdmy thbrth dbby wbely
They cried, but there was no one to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn’t answer them.
42
בען סעיד ולית להון פריק מצלן קדם יי ולא מקבל צלותהון:
tslwthhwn mqbl wla yy qdm mtsln pryq lhwn wlyth seyd ben
Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.
43
ודוששתינון היך גרגשתא דארעא על אנפי זעפא והיך סין אשקקי בעטית אנון:
anwn beTyth ashqqy syn whyk zepa anpy el darea grgshtha hyk wdwshshthynwn
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44
תשזבנני מפלגת עממיא תנטרינני במיזרי מזין בריש עממיא עמא דלא חכימת יפלחונני:
yplkhwnny khkymth dla ema emmya brysh mzyn bmyzry thnTrynny emmya mplgth thshzbnny
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.
45
לשמע אידין ישתמעון לי בני עממיא יכדבון קדמי:
qdmy ykdbwn emmya bny ly yshthmewn aydyn lshme
The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.
46
בני עממיא יסופון ויטלטלון מברניתהון:
mbrnythhwn wyTlTlwn yswpwn emmya bny
Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,
47
קים הוא יי ובריך תקיפא דמן קדמוהי מתיהב לי תקוף ופורקן ומרומם אלהא תקוף פורקני:
pwrqny thqwp alha wmrwmm wpwrqn thqwp ly mthyhb qdmwhy dmn thqypa wbryk yy hwa qym
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.
48
אלהא דעבד פורענותא לי ומתבר עממיא דקימין לאבאשא לי תחותי:
thkhwthy ly labasha dqymyn emmya wmthbr ly pwrenwtha debd alha
He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
49
משזבי מבעלי דבבי לחוד על דקיימין לאבאשא לי תגברנני מן גוג ומשרית עממין דחטופין עמהון תשזבנני:
thshzbnny emhwn dkhTwpyn emmyn wmshryth gwg mn thgbrnny ly labasha dqyymyn el lkhwd dbby mbely mshzby
Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.

מטול היכנא אודה קדמך ביני עממיא יי ולשמך אזמר תושבחתא:
thwshbkhtha azmr wlshmk yy emmya byny qdmk awdh hykna mTwl
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
