ܢܛܪܝܢܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܥܠܝܟ ܐܬܬܟܠܬ
'ththklth delyk mTl 'lh' nTryny
Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.

ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܪܝ ܐܢܬ ܘܛܒܬܝ ܡܢ ܠܘܬܟ ܗܝ
hy lwthk mn wTbthy 'nth dmry lmry' w'mrth
My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”

ܐܦ ܠܩܕܝ̈ܫܐ ܕܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܡܫܒ̈ܚܐ ܕܟܠܗ ܨܒܝܢܝ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn tsbyny dklh wmshbkh' db're' lqdysh' 'p
As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

ܢܣܓܘܢ ܟܐ̈ܒܝܗܘܢ ܐܚܪ̈ܝܐ ܒܥܓܠ ܕܠܐ ܐܢܩܐ ܢܘܩܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܡܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܬܕܟܪ ܫ̈ܡܗܝܗܘܢ ܒܣ̈ܦܘܬܝ
bspwthy shmhyhwn 'thdkr wl' dm' mn nwqyhwn 'nq' dl' begl 'khry' k'byhwn nsgwn
Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.

ܡܪܝܐ ܡܢܬܐ ܕܝܪܬܘܬܝ ܘܕܟܣܝ ܐܢܬ ܡܦܢܐ ܠܝ ܝܪܬܘܬܝ
yrthwthy ly mpn' 'nth wdksy dyrthwthy mnth' mry'
Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.

ܚܒ̈ܠܐ ܢܦܠܘ ܠܝ ܒܛܪ̈ܩܐ. ܐܦ ܝܪܬܘܬܝ ܫܦܪܬ ܠܝ

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.

ܐܒܪܟ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܠܟܢܝ ܐܦ ܒ̈ܠܝܠܘܬܐ ܪ̈ܕܝܢܝ ܟܘ̈ܠܝܬܝ
kwlythy rdyny blylwth' 'p dmlkny lmry' 'brk
I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.

ܣܡܬ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܠܘܩܒܠܝ ܒܟܠ ܙܒܢ ܘܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܝ ܕܠܐ ܐܙܘܥ
'zwe dl' ymyny mn whw' zbn bkl lwqbly lmry' smth
I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܚܕܝ ܠܒܝ ܘܕܨ ܐܝܩܪܝ ܐܦ ܒܣܪܝ ܢܫܪܐ ܒܫܠܝܐ
bshly' nshr' bsry 'p 'yqry wdts lby khdy hn' mTl
Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܫܒܩܬ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܒܫܝܘܠ ܘܠܐ ܝܗܒܬ ܠܚܣܝܟ ܠܡܚܙܐ ܚܒܠܐ
khbl' lmkhz' lkhsyk yhbth wl' bshywl lnpshy shbqth dl' mTl
For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.
