לשבחא ברוח נבואה על דוד אמר שטיא בלבביה לית שולטנא דאלהא בארעא חבילו עובדיהון רחקו טבתא ואשכחו עלא לית דעבד טב:
Tb debd lyth ela washkkhw Tbtha rkhqw ewbdyhwn khbylw barea dalha shwlTna lyth blbbyh shTya amr dwd el nbwah brwkh lshbkha
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.

יי משמיא אודיק על בני נשא למחמי אין אית משכיל תבע אולפן מן קדם יי:
yy qdm mn awlpn thbe mshkyl ayth ayn lmkhmy nsha bny el awdyq mshmya yy
Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.

כולהון זרו לאחורא כחדא אתרשלו לית דעבד טב אפילו לית חד:
khd lyth apylw Tb debd lyth athrshlw kkhda lakhwra zrw kwlhwn
They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

הלא ידעו כל עבדי שקר סעדי עמי סעדו לחמא שמא דיי לא בריכו:
brykw la dyy shma lkhma sedw emy sedy shqr ebdy kl ydew hla
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?

תמן דחלו דחלא מטול דמימרא דיי בדרא דצדיקי:
dtsdyqy bdra dyy dmymra mTwl dkhla dkhlw thmn
There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.

מלכת עניא תבהתון מטול דשוי ביי סבריה:
sbryh byy dshwy mTwl thbhthwn enya mlkth
You frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.

מן ירחיש מציון פורקנא דישראל כד יתיב יי גלות עמיה ירנן יעקב יחדי ישראל:
yshral ykhdy yeqb yrnn emyh glwth yy ythyb kd dyshral pwrqna mtsywn yrkhysh mn
Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
