הללויה ארום טב לזמרא קדם אלהנא ארום בסים יאיא תושבחתא:
thwshbkhtha yaya bsym arwm alhna qdm lzmra Tb arwm hllwyh
Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.

בני ירושלם יי גלות ישראל יכנס:
ykns yshral glwth yy yrwshlm bny
Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

דמסי לתבירי לבא ומסיק ארכא לצעריהון:
ltseryhwn arka wmsyq lba lthbyry dmsy
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

מני סכום לכוכביא לכולהון בשמא קרי:
qry bshma lkwlhwn lkwkbya skwm mny
He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.

רב מרנא וסגי חילא לסוכלתנותיה לית סכום:
skwm lyth lswklthnwthyh khyla wsgy mrna rb
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.

מסובר ענותניא יי מכיך רשיעיא עדי ארעא:
area edy rshyeya mkyk yy enwthnya mswbr
Yahweh upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
7
שבחו קדם יי בתודתא זמרו קדם אלהנא בכנרא:
bknra alhna qdm zmrw bthwdtha yy qdm shbkhw
Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,

דחפי שמיא בעננא דמתקן לארעא מטרא דמרבי טוריא עסבי:
esby Twrya dmrby mTra larea dmthqn benna shmya dkhpy
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.

יהב לבעירא מזונא לבני עורבא דקרן:
dqrn ewrba lbny mzwna lbeyra yhb
He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
10
לא בגבורתא דרכיבין על סוסי יצבי לא בשוקי גוברין רחמנין יצבי:
ytsby rkhmnyn gwbryn bshwqy la ytsby swsy el drkybyn bgbwrtha la
He doesn’t delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

רעי יי ית דחלוי ית דמוריכין לטוביה:
lTwbyh dmwrykyn yth dkhlwy yth yy rey
Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

שבחי ירושלם ית יי שבחי אלהיך ציון:
tsywn alhyk shbkhy yy yth yrwshlm shbkhy
Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!

ארום תקף נגרי תרעיך בריך בניכי במצעיך:
bmtseyk bnyky bryk threyk ngry thqp arwm
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.

דשוי תחומך שלם שמן חנטיא יסבענך:
ysbenk khnTya shmn shlm thkhwmk dshwy
He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.

דמשדר מימריה לארעא עד סרהובא ירהוט מלוליה:
mlwlyh yrhwT srhwba ed larea mymryh dmshdr
He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.

דיהב תלגא חור היך עמר גליד היך קטם יבדר:
ybdr qTm hyk glyd emr hyk khwr thlga dyhb
He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.

מטלק קרחיה פליג היך רסוקין דמן קדם קוריה מן אפשר ליה למקם:
lmqm lyh apshr mn qwryh qdm dmn rswqyn hyk plyg qrkhyh mTlq
He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?

ישדר קדום חמתיה וימסנון ינתב רוחיה זלחין מיא:
mya zlkhyn rwkhyh ynthb wymsnwn khmthyh qdwm yshdr
He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19
דתני דבריא דאוריתא ליעקב קימוי ודינוי לישראל:
lyshral wdynwy qymwy lyeqb dawrytha dbrya dthny
He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
