שכלא טב על ידי דוד במהוי באספלידא צלותא:
tslwtha basplyda bmhwy dwd ydy el Tb shkla
I cry with my voice to Yahweh. With my voice, I ask Yahweh for mercy.

קלי קדם יי אקבל קלי קדם יי אצלי:
atsly yy qdm qly aqbl yy qdm qly
I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.

אשוד קדמוי שותי עקתי קדמוי אתני:
athny qdmwy eqthy shwthy qdmwy ashwd
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my route. On the path in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.

באשתלהיות עלי רוחי ואת ידעת שבילי בכבישא דנן דאהלך כמנו פחא לי:
ly pkha kmnw dahlk dnn bkbysha shbyly ydeth wath rwkhy ely bashthlhywth
Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.

אסתכלית על ימינא וחמית ולית לי משתמודע הובד שזיבו מני ולית תבע לנפשי:
lnpshy thbe wlyth mny shzybw hwbd mshthmwde ly wlyth wkhmyth ymyna el asthklyth
I cried to you, Yahweh. I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”

קבלית לותך יי אמרית אנת משזבי חולקי בארע חייא:
khyya bare khwlqy mshzby anth amryth yy lwthk qblyth
Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

אצית לצלותי ארום אתמסכנית לחדא פצי יתי מרדפי ארום אתחילו מני:
mny athkhylw arwm mrdpy ythy ptsy lkhda athmsknyth arwm ltslwthy atsyth
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
