ܐܢܬ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܡܘܬܒܝ ܘܡܩܡܝ ܐܣܬܟܠܬ ܡܚ̈ܫܒܬܝ ܡܢ ܪܘܡܐ
rwm' mn mkhshbthy 'sthklth wmqmy mwthby 'nth yde 'nth
You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.

ܐܘܪܚܝ ܘܫܒܝ̈ܠܝ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܘܟܘܠܗܝܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܝ ܥܩܒܬ
eqbth 'wrkhthy wkwlhyn 'nth yde wshbyly 'wrkhy
You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

ܐܢ ܐܝܬ ܫܘܚܠܦܐ ܒܠܫܢܝ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܟܠܗܝܢ
klhyn 'nth yde mry' 'nth blshny shwkhlp' 'yth 'n
For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.

ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܘܠܚܪܬܐ ܓܒܠܬܢܝ ܘܣܡܬ ܥܠܝ ܐܝܕܟ
'ydk ely wsmth gblthny wlkhrth' qdym dmn
You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.

ܡܢܝ ܗܘܬ ܝܕܥܬܐ ܘܬܕܡܘܪܬܐ ܐܬܚܝܠܬ ܘܠܐ ܡܨܐ ܐܢܐ ܚܝܠܐ
khyl' 'n' mts' wl' 'thkhylth wthdmwrth' ydeth' hwth mny
This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.

ܠܐܝܟܐ ܐܙܠ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܟ ܘܐܝܟܐ ܐܛܫܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝܟ
qdmyk mn 'Tsh' w'yk' rwkhk mn 'zl l'yk'
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?

ܐܢ ܐܣܩ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܬܡܢ ܐܢܬ ܘܐܢ ܐܚܘܬ ܠܫܝܘܠ ܐܦ ܬܡܢ ܐܝܬܝܟ
'ythyk thmn 'p lshywl 'khwth w'n 'nth thmn lshmy' 'sq 'n
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!

ܘܐܢ ܐܪܝܡ ܟܢ̈ܦܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܝܫܪܐ ܘܐܫܪܐ ܒܚܪܬܗ ܕܝܡܐ
dym' bkhrthh w'shr' dnyshr' 'yk knpy 'rym w'n
If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea,

ܐܦ ܬܡܢ ܐܝܕܟ ܬܐܚܕܢܝ ܘܬܕܒܪܢܝ ܝܡܝܢܟ
ymynk wthdbrny th'khdny 'ydk thmn 'p
even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.

ܐܡܪܬ ܕܚܫܘܟܐ ܢܢܗܪ ܠܝ ܘܠܠܝܐ ܢܢܗܪ ܒܐ̈ܦܝ
b'py nnhr wlly' ly nnhr dkhshwk' 'mrth
If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me. The light around me will be night,”

ܘܚܫܘܟܐ ܠܐ ܢܚܫܟ ܡܢܟ ܘܠܠܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܐܝܡܡܐ ܢܢܗܪ ܘܚܫܘܟܐ ܐܝܟ ܢܗܝܪܐ
nhyr' 'yk wkhshwk' nnhr 'ymm' 'yk wlly' mnk nkhshk l' wkhshwk'
even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܬܩܢܬ ܟܘ̈ܠܝܬܝ ܘܩܒܠܬܢܝ ܡܢ ܟܪܣܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ
d'my krsh mn wqblthny kwlythy thqnth d'nth mTl
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

ܐܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܡܛܠ ܬܕܡܘܪܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܡܪܡܪܡܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܒ̈ܕܝܟ ܘܢܦܫܝ ܛܒ ܝܕܥܐ
yde' Tb wnpshy ebdyk gyr 'nwn mrmrmyn debdth thdmwrth' mTl lk 'wd'
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.

ܘܠܐ ܟܣܝܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܝ ܡܢܟ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܒܣܬܪܐ ܢܚܬܬ ܠܬܚ̈ܬܝܬܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' lthkhthythh nkhthth bsthr' debdth mnk grmy ksyn wl'
My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.

ܘܦܘܪܥܢܝ ܚ̈ܙܝ ܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܥܠ ܟܬܒ̈ܝܟ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܢܬܟܬ̈ܒܢ ܗܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܐܬܟܪܝܘ ܘܠܝܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܐܢܫ
'nsh bhwn wlyth 'thkryw ywmth' h' nthkthbn klhyn kthbyk el eyny khzy wpwreny
Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

ܠܝ ܕܝܢ ܛܒ ܝܩܪܘ ܪ̈ܚܡܝܟ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܛܒ ܥܫܢܘ ܫ̈ܠܝܛܢܝܗܘܢ
shlyTnyhwn eshnw wTb 'lh' rkhmyk yqrw Tb dyn ly
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!

ܐܡܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܚܠܐ ܢܣܓܘܢ ܐܬܬܥܝܪܬ ܘܬܘܒ ܥܡܟ ܐܢܐ
'n' emk wthwb 'ththeyrth nsgwn khl' mn wythyr 'nwn 'mn'
If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.

ܐܢ ܬܩܛܘܠ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܚ̈ܛܝܐ ܘܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܕܕܡܐ ܢܥܒܪܘܢ ܡܢܝ
mny nebrwn ddm' wgbr' lkhTy' 'lh' thqTwl 'n
If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men!

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܠܠܘܟ ܘܢܣܒܘ ܒܣܪܝܩܘܬܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܟ
mdynthk bsryqwth' wnsbw dmllwk mTl
For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.

ܠܣܢܐ̈ܝܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܣܢܝܬ ܘܥܠ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܩܝܡܝܢ ܠܩܘܒܠܟ ܐܬܚܡܬܬ
'thkhmthth lqwblk dqymyn 'ylyn wel snyth mry' lsn'yk
Yahweh, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?

ܣܢܐܬܐ ܡܫܡܠܝܬܐ ܣܢܝܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܗܘܘ ܠܝ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܐ
beldbb' ly whww 'nwn snyth mshmlyth' sn'th'
I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.

ܒܨܝܢܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܥ ܠܒܝ ܘܒܚܘܪܝܢܝ ܘܕܥ ܗ̈ܠܟܬܝ

Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.
