ܐܬܕܟܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܘܠܟܠܗ ܡܘܟܟܗ
mwkkh wlklh ldwyd mry' 'thdkr
Yahweh, remember David and all his affliction,

ܕܝܡܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܢܕܪ ܠܐܠܗܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ
dyeqwb l'lhh wndr lmry' dym'
how he swore to Yahweh, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:

ܕܠܐ ܐܥܘܠ ܠܡܛܠܠܗ ܕܒܝܬܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܣܩ ܠܬܫܘܝܬܗ̇ ܕܥܪܣܝ
dersy lthshwythh 'sq wl' dbythy lmTllh 'ewl dl'
“Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;

ܘܠܐ ܐܬܠ ܫܢܬܐ ܠܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܢܘܡܬܐ ܠܓܒܝܢ̈ܝ
lgbyny nwmth' l' 'p leyny shnth' 'thl wl'
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,

ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܫܟܚ ܐܬܪܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܡܫܟܢܐ ܠܐܠܗܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ
dyeqwb l'lhh wmshkn' lmry' 'thr' d'shkkh edm'
until I find out a place for Yahweh, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

ܗܐ ܫܡܥܢܗ̇ ܒܐܦܪܬܐ ܘܐܫܟܚܢܗ̇ ܒܚ̈ܩܠܬܐ
bkhqlth' w'shkkhnh b'prth' shmenh h'
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar.

ܢܥܘܠ ܠܡܫܟܢܗ ܘܢܣܓܘܕ ܠܟܘܒܫܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܘܗܝ
drglwhy lkwbsh' wnsgwd lmshknh newl
“We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.”

ܩܘܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܢܝܚܬܟ ܐܢܬ ܘܩܒܘܬܐ ܕܥܘܫܢܟ
dewshnk wqbwth' 'nth lnykhthk mry' qwm
Arise, Yahweh, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength.

ܟܗ̈ܢܝܟ ܢܠܒܫܘܢ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܙܕܝܩ̈ܝܟ ܫܘܒܚܐ
shwbkh' wzdyqyk zdyqwth' nlbshwn khnyk
Let your priests be clothed with righteousness. Let your saints shout for joy!

ܡܛܠ ܕܘܝܕ ܥܒܕܟ ܠܐ ܬܗܦܟ ܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܡܫܝܚܟ
dmshykhk 'pwhy thhpk l' ebdk dwyd mTl
For your servant David’s sake, don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.

ܝܡܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܒܫܪܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܗܦܘܟ ܡܢܗ ܕܡܢ ܦܐܪ̈ܝ ܟܪܣܟ ܐܘܬܒ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܣܝܟ
kwrsyk el 'wthb krsk p'ry dmn mnh nhpwk wl' bshrr' ldwyd mry' ym'
Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: “I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.

ܐܢ ܢܛܪܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝܟ ܩܝܡܝ ܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܡܠܦ ܐܢܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܦ ܡܢ ܒܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܢܬܒܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܣܝܟ
kwrsyk el elmyn lelm nthbwn bnyhwn mn 'p lhwn 'n' dmlp hd' shdwth' qymy bnyk nTrwn 'n
If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”

ܡܛܠ ܕܨܒܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܓܒܗ̇ ܠܗ ܠܒܝܬ ܡܥܡܪܐ
memr' lbyth lh wgbh btshywn mry' dtsb' mTl
For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.

ܗܕܐ ܗܝ ܢܝܚܬܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܗܪܟܐ ܐܬܒ ܡܛܠ ܕܪܓܬܗ̇
drgthh mTl 'thb hrk' elmyn lelm nykhthy hy hd'
“This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.

ܘܠܨܝ̈ܕܝܗ̇ ܐܒܪܟ ܘܠܡܣ̈ܟܢܝܗ̇ ܐܣܒܥ ܠܚܡܐ
lkhm' 'sbe wlmsknyh 'brk wltsydyh
I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.

ܠܟܘܡܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܐܠܒܫ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܘܠܙܕܝ̈ܩܝܗ̇ ܫܘܒܚܐ
shwbkh' wlzdyqyh pwrqn' 'lbsh lkwmryh
I will also clothe her priests with salvation. Her saints will shout aloud for joy.

ܬܡܢ ܐܕܢܚ ܩܪܢܐ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܘܐܢܗܪ ܫܪܓܐ ܠܡܫܝܚܗ
lmshykhh shrg' w'nhr ldwyd qrn' 'dnkh thmn
I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
