ܘܫܡܥܬ ܒܩܠܝ ܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܐ̈ܕܢܝܟ ܨܝ̈ܬܢ ܠܩܠܐ ܕܟܘܫܦܝ
dkwshpy lql' tsythn 'dnyk nhwyn bqly wshmeth
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

ܐܢ ܚ̈ܛܗܐ ܢܛܪ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܢܘ ܡܫܟܚ ܠܡܩܡ
lmqm mshkkh mnw mry' 'nth nTr khTh' 'n
If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܬܟ ܗܘ ܫܘܒܩܢܐ
shwbqn' hw lwthk dmn mTl
But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

ܣܒܪܬ ܒܡܪܝܐ ܘܣܟܝܬ ܢܦܫܝ ܠܡܠܬܗ ܣܟܝܬ
skyth lmlthh npshy wskyth bmry' sbrth
I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܢ ܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܨܦܪܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܨܦܪܐ
dtspr' lmTrth' wedm' dtspr' mTrth' mn lmry'
My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

ܢܣܟܐ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܬܗ ܐܢܘܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܐ ܘܣܓܝ ܠܘܬܗ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ
pwrqn' lwthh wsgy rkhm' 'nwn lwthh dmn mTl lmry' 'ysryl nsk'
Israel, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him.
