ܚܕܝܬ ܟܕ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܝ ܠܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܙܠܝܢܢ
'zlynn dmry' lbythh ly hww 'mryn kd khdyth
I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”

ܩܝ̈ܡܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܪ̈ܓܠܝ ܒܬܪ̈ܥܝܟܝ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ
'wrshlm bthreyky rgly hwy qymn
Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!

ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܡܒܢܝܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܟܪܝܟ ܠܗ̇ ܫܘܪܐ
shwr' lh dkryk mdynth' 'yk mbnyth' 'wrshlm
Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,

ܠܬܡܢ ܣܠܩܘ ܫܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܫܪ̈ܒܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܘܕܝܘ ܠܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' lshmh lmwdyw l'ysryl shdwth' dmry' shrbthh shrbth' slqw lthmn
where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to Yahweh’s name.

ܡܛܠ ܕܬܡܢ ܐܪܡܝܘ ܟܘܪ̈ܣܘܬܐ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܟܘܪ̈ܣܘܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܕܘܝܕ
dwyd dbyth kwrswth' ldyn' kwrswth' 'rmyw dthmn mTl
For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.

ܫܐܠܘ ܒܫܠܡܗ̇ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܟܗܝܢܝܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܝܟܝ
rkhmyky khynyn nhwwn d'wrshlm bshlmh sh'lw
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.

ܢܗܘܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܒܚܝܠܟܝ ܘܟܗܝܢܘܬܐ ܒܣܚܪ̈ܬܟܝ
bskhrthky wkhynwth' bkhylky shlm' nhw'
Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.

ܡܛܠ ܐܚ̈ܝ ܘܪ̈ܚܡܝ ܐܡܠܠ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܫܠܡܐ
shlm' elyky 'mll wrkhmy 'khy mTl
For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
