תושבחתא לדוד במימרא דיי סברית הכדין אתון אמרין לנפשי אטלטלי לטורא היך צפרא:
tspra hyk lTwra aTlTly lnpshy amryn athwn hkdyn sbryth dyy bmymra ldwd thwshbkhtha
In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”?

ארום הא רשיעי נגדין קשתא מתקנין גירהון על נימא למרמי בקבלא עלוי תקיני לבא:
lba thqyny elwy bqbla lmrmy nyma el gyrhwn mthqnyn qshtha ngdyn rshyey ha arwm
For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

מטול דאין אשיתא יתרעון זכאה מטולא עבד טובא:
Twba ebd mTwla zkah ythrewn ashytha dayn mTwl
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

יי בהיכלא דקודשיה אלהא בשמי מרומא כורסיה עינוי חמין תמורוי מבחנן בני נשא:
nsha bny mbkhnn thmwrwy khmyn eynwy kwrsyh mrwma bshmy alha dqwdshyh bhykla yy
Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.

אלהא צדיקיא בחין ורשיעיא ורחמי חטופין סנאת נפשיה:
npshyh snath khTwpyn wrkhmy wrshyeya bkhyn tsdyqya alha
Yahweh examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.

יחית מטרין דפורענו על רשיעי מפחין דאשתא וכבריתא וזעפא עלעולא יהבת כלידהון:
klydhwn yhbth elewla wzepa wkbrytha dashtha mpkhyn rshyey el dpwrenw mTryn ykhyth
On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
