רחימת ארום שמע יי ית קלי בעותי:
bewthy qly yth yy shme arwm rkhymth
I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.
2
ארום אצלי אודניה לי וביומי אנא קרי:
qry ana wbywmy ly awdnyh atsly arwm
Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

אקיפו יתי מרעי מותא ועיקתין דשיול אשכחוני עיקתא ודבונא אשכח:
ashkkh wdbwna eyqtha ashkkhwny dshywl weyqthyn mwtha mrey ythy aqypw
The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.

ובשמא דיי אקרי בבעו יי שזיב נפשי:
npshy shzyb yy bbew aqry dyy wbshma
Then I called on Yahweh’s name: “Yahweh, I beg you, deliver my soul.”

חננא יי וזכאה ואלהנא מרחם:
mrkhm walhna wzkah yy khnna
Yahweh is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.

נטר שרגוגיא יי אתמסכנית ולי חמי למפרוק:
lmprwq khmy wly athmsknyth yy shrgwgya nTr
Yahweh preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

תובי נפשי לבית מנחיכי ארום מימרא דיי גמל טובא עליכי:
elyky Twba gml dyy mymra arwm mnkhyky lbyth npshy thwby
Return to your rest, my soul, for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.

ארום פציתא נפשי מקטול ית עיני מן דמעתא ית רגלי מן לאדחיא:
ladkhya mn rgly yth dmetha mn eyny yth mqTwl npshy ptsytha arwm
For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

אתהלך קדם יי בארעת חייא:
khyya bareth yy qdm athhlk
I will walk before Yahweh in the land of the living.

הימנית ארום אמלל בכנישת צדיקי אנא שבחית לחדא:
lkhda shbkhyth ana tsdyqy bknyshth amll arwm hymnyth
I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”

אנא אמרית במערקי כל בני נשא מכדבין:
mkdbyn nsha bny kl bmerqy amryth ana
I said in my haste, “All people are liars.”

מה אתיב קדם יי כל גמולן טבן דיליה גמילין חנון עלי:
ely khnwn gmylyn dylyh Tbn gmwln kl yy qdm athyb mh
What will I give to Yahweh for all his benefits toward me?

כסא דפורקניא אסובר לעלמא דאתי ובשמא דיי אקרי:
aqry dyy wbshma dathy lelma aswbr dpwrqnya ksa
I will take the cup of salvation, and call on Yahweh’s name.
14
נדרי קדם יי אשלם אתני כדון נסוי לכל עמיה:
emyh lkl nswy kdwn athny ashlm yy qdm ndry
I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people.
15
יקיר קדם יי מיתותא דמשתלחא לחסידוי:
lkhsydwy dmshthlkha mythwtha yy qdm yqyr
Precious in Yahweh’s sight is the death of his saints.
16
בבעו יי ארום אנא עבדך אנא עבדך בר אמתך שריתא לשולשלותי:
lshwlshlwthy shrytha amthk br ebdk ana ebdk ana arwm yy bbew
Yahweh, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.

לך אדבח דבח נכסתא ובשמא דיי אקרי:
aqry dyy wbshma nkstha dbkh adbkh lk
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on Yahweh’s name.

נדרי קדם יי אשלם אתני כדון נסוי לכל עמיה:
emyh lkl nswy kdwn athny ashlm yy qdm ndry
I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people,
