ܪܚܡܬ ܕܢܫܡܥ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܠܐ ܕܒܥܘܬܝ

I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.

ܘܢܨܠܐ ܐܕܢܗ ܠܘܬܝ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܐܩܪܝܘܗܝ
d'qrywhy bywm' lwthy 'dnh wntsl'
Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

ܡܛܠ ܕܚܕܪܘܢܝ ܚܒ̈ܠܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܘܐ̈ܘܠܨܢܐ ܕܫܝܘܠ ܡܛܝܘܢܝ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܘܕܐܘܘܐܢܐ ܐܫܟܚܬ
'shkkhth wd'ww'n' 'wltsn' mTywny dshywl w'wltsn' dmwth' khbl' dkhdrwny mTl
The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.

ܘܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܩܪܝܬ ܐܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܦܨܗ̇ ܠܢܦܫܝ

Then I called on Yahweh’s name: “Yahweh, I beg you, deliver my soul.”

ܡܪܚܡܢ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܙܕܝܩ ܘܐܠܗܐ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܚܡܢܐ
mrkhmn' 'nth w'lh' wzdyq mry' 'nth mrkhmn
Yahweh is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.

ܢܛܪ ܠܫܒܪ̈ܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܟܟܢܝ ܘܦܪܩܢܝ
wprqny mkkny mry' lshbr' nTr
Yahweh preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

ܐܬܦܢܝ ܢܦܫܝ ܠܢܝܚܟܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܦܪܥܟܝ

Return to your rest, my soul, for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.

ܡܛܠ ܕܦܨܝܬ ܢܦܫܝ ܡܢ ܡܘܬܐ ܘܪ̈ܓܠܝ ܡܢ ܫܪ̈ܥܬܐ

For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

ܕܐܫܦܪ ܩܕܡܝܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܚ̈ܝܐ
dkhy' b're' mry' qdmyk d'shpr
I will walk before Yahweh in the land of the living.

ܗܝܡܢܬ ܘܡܠܠܬ ܘܐܬܡܟܟܬ ܛܒ
Tb w'thmkkth wmllth hymnth
I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”

ܐܢܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܒܪܥܝܠܘܬܝ ܕܟܠ ܒܪܢܫ ܕܓܠ

I said in my haste, “All people are liars.”

ܡܢܐ ܐܦܪܘܥ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܦܘܪ̈ܥܢܘܗܝ ܥܠܝ
ely pwrenwhy dklhwn lmry' 'prwe mn'
What will I give to Yahweh for all his benefits toward me?

ܟܣܐ ܕܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܐܩܒܠ ܘܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܩܪܐ
'qr' dmry' wbshmh 'qbl dpwrqn' ks'
I will take the cup of salvation, and call on Yahweh’s name.

ܢܕܪ̈ܝ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܦܪܘܥ ܩܕܡ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ
em' klh qdm 'prwe lmry' ndry
I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people.

ܝܩܝܪ ܗܘ ܒܥܝ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܘܬܐ ܕܙܕܝܩ̈ܘܗܝ
dzdyqwhy mwth' dmry' beynwhy hw yqyr
Precious in Yahweh’s sight is the death of his saints.

ܐܘ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܒܕܟ ܥܒܕܟ ܐܢܐ ܘܒܪܗ̇ ܕܐܡܬܟ ܫܪܝܬ ܡܢܝ ܐܣܘܪ̈ܝ

Yahweh, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.

ܠܟ ܐܕܒܚ ܕܒܚ̈ܐ ܕܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܩܪܐ
'qr' dmry' wbshmh dshwbkh' dbkh' 'dbkh lk
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on Yahweh’s name.

ܢܕܪ̈ܝ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܦܪܘܥ ܩܕܡ ܟܘܠܗ ܥܡܗ
