ܫܒܚܘ ܥܒ̈ܕܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܫܒܚܘ ܠܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' lshmh shbkhw dmry' ebdwhy shbkhw
Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, praise Yahweh’s name.

ܢܗܘܐ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܒܪܟ ܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm wedm' elm mn mbrk dmry' shmh nhw'
Blessed be Yahweh’s name, from this time forward and forever more.

ܡܢ ܡ̈ܕܢܚܘܗܝ ܕܫܡܫܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܥܪ̈ܒܘܗܝ ܪܒ ܗܘ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' shmh hw rb lmerbwhy edm' dshmsh' mdnkhwhy mn
From the rising of the sun to its going down, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.

ܘܪܡ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܠ ܫܡܝܐ ܐܝܩܪܗ
'yqrh shmy' wel mry' emm' klhwn el wrm
Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.

ܡܢܘ ܐܝܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܢ ܕܝܬܒ ܒܪܘܡܐ
brwm' dythb 'lhn mry' 'yk mnw
Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,

ܘܚܙܐ ܒܥܘܡܩܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ
wb're' bshmy' bewmq' wkhz'
who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

ܡܪܝܡ ܡܢ ܩܩܠܬܐ ܠܒܝܫܐ
lbysh' qqlth' mn mrym
He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,
8
ܕܢܘܬܒܝܘܗܝ ܥܡ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܡܐ
dem' rwrbn' em dnwthbywhy
that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
