ܢܗܘܐ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܒܪܟ ܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ
nhw' shmh dmry' mbrk mn elm wedm' lelm
Blessed be Yahweh’s name, from this time forward and forever more.

ܡܢ ܡ̈ܕܢܚܘܗܝ ܕܫܡܫܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܥܪ̈ܒܘܗܝ ܪܒ ܗܘ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ

From the rising of the sun to its going down, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.

ܘܪܡ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥܠ ܫܡܝܐ ܐܝܩܪܗ
wrm el klhwn emm' mry' wel shmy' 'yqrh
Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.

ܡܢܘ ܐܝܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܢ ܕܝܬܒ ܒܪܘܡܐ
mnw 'yk mry' 'lhn dythb brwm'
Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,

ܘܚܙܐ ܒܥܘܡܩܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ
wkhz' bewmq' bshmy' wb're'
who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

ܡܪܝܡ ܡܢ ܩܩܠܬܐ ܠܒܝܫܐ
mrym mn qqlth' lbysh'
He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,

ܕܢܘܬܒܝܘܗܝ ܥܡ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܡܐ
dnwthbywhy em rwrbn' dem'
that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

ܡܘܬܒ ܥܩܪܬܐ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܘܐܡܐ ܕܒ̈ܢܝܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܝܐ
mwthb eqrth' bbyth' w'm' dbny' kd khdy'
He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
